Louie's double abscess update

Louie has an abscess in each of his front hooves. His right hoof has it on the bulb of his hoof and the left one has it under his frog. This week we soaked each hoof once a day for 20 minutes to draw the infection out. We were successful. We are now dry wrapping each hoof to keep them dry and allow them to fully heal.
Harry' skin condition had been improving until it rained. For some reason the rain made him incredibly itchy again. We are trying to find a way to make him feel more comfortable.

The treatment that we use for abscess is to soak the hoof in Epson salt. We then apply a poultice pad and wrap it to keep it dry and clean.
