Vet visit, coughing and hoof issues.

This week at the ranch Dr. Lauren came to give Spring vaccines and examine Abe because he has been coughing for a few weeks. It turns out that he has the beginnings of horse asthma, otherwise known as equine heaves. Abe was tested for what he is allergic to. Once we know, a treatment plan can be developed.
Several months ago Ellie had a severe abscess. This week, the part of her hoof where the abscess blew out broke off. We are now treating the area with Apple Cider Vinegar to stave off infection.
