Melody Max....thank you sooo much! SUBSCRIBED and LIKED. That's my exact Ninja air fryer. I love it. 300 degrees is as low as it wil go. Thank you for the cook times. Like gold. There are so many narcissit blatherers on UA-cam who take five minutes to say 15 seconds of content. Your presentation was enjoyable. I want to see more. I look forward to browesing thru your channel content.
This is great. I used to eat white rice and eggs when I was 17-19 and heavy into “body building” (trying to get big). I got huge! People thought I was in steroids. I am gonna start lifting again and I have that same exact air fryer so I am waking up tomorrow and gonna test it out. That way no dishes to was, just wake up drop them in and get ready for work. I am pumped! (No pun intended). Thanks. Any other cool tricks or recipes would be great!
It's funny coz I love eating eggs with white rice too (with some ketchup or soy sauce lol). How was your air fryer eggs? Hopefully they came out good 😀
I love when people are share a personal story under a video. You never know what helpful info you can get from it! I never knew eggs and rice help you bulk up. Much success in your journey in fitness .
I used to make hardboiled eggs in my Instant Pot but ever since it died, I rarely make them because I hate sitting around boiling them. I also have that same air fryer so I'm pumped to find your video.
Wow thanks! Kids just got me an af and 13min was perfect for hard ‘boiled’!! Mine has a baked option next time I’ll press that and see if there’s a difference
Thanks for sharing! Just bought myself the same Air Fryer for Christmas. My hubby normally uses nearly a whole carton of eggs to hardboil on the stove. But I'd like to try this method. 🐔
It turned out great! Only tested 2 eggs but had trouble peeling them. Store bought eggs. Does it make a difference in the peeling whether eggs are in water only or an ice bath?
Sorry you had trouble. I recommend lowering the temperature in that case. I experimented and made another video using the same air fryer with lower temp and they were easy to peel with or without ice. ua-cam.com/video/jPOmdnyKN7A/v-deo.html
Wow this is great. I’ll deffo try it! Except for the getting my eggs covered in shell. I like to roll the egg to crack the shell and make it easy to peel. None of this attacking it with a giant knife ha
Your comment made my day 😊 I got a lot of comments about how I use knife to open eggs LOL, it's only to quickly show that eggs are perfectly cooked. Thanks so much for great feedback!
Dual Basket Ninja. After 1st experiment i will need to rotate eggs 1/2 way through cooking. Do not recommend eggs that have been stamped and maybe longer ice bath or cooking time. Seemed to cook more on one side "burning" inner shell. Thanks for this video!
Hi! I'm not too sure how to use the air fryer mode on Foodi Smart lid. I see most people cook hard boiled eggs using the pressure mode and put some water in it. Thank you for watching! 😀
I don't see why not. I know people with different brands of air fryers who've already tried making this and follow same temp and time. If one of these doesn't work, it just needs some adjustments. Hope this helps! 😀 (For hard boiled eggs: 300F for 12-14 mins or 270 for 14-16 mins, or 250 for 16-18 mins)
Actually it easier to scoop the egg out of the shell than peel it. I often just chop the egg and put on toast or soft egg yolk easier to dip. Great technique for egg salad since you chop it all up anyway. Of course if you want the whole egg in tact then the peel method is best.
It shouldn't matter but since every air fryer is different and to be safe, I always go lower temp for lesser amount of eggs. 270 fahrenheit but same time.
@@CookWithMeldz Omg they cooked really nice! I’m definitely going to stick with this. I cooked for 11 minutes for medium soft, 1 was a little bit on the harder side but still yummy 🤤. Tomorrow I’ll try them at 10mins on 190c to check will I get both eggs medium soft, today I cooked on 200c. I’m glad your video helped 😃🙌
@@crystalward2451 Thank you! I'm so glad to hear that! In the video, I used 300 Fahrenheit which is only about 150 celsius. Lowering down the temp will definitely give you the perfect softness that you like. 😀
@@CookWithMeldz no way thanks for telling me because that’s what confused me was our differences in temperatures obviously different countries ( I’m in Ireland 🇮🇪) 😅, but I’ll definitely try it on 150 and let you know how I get on 😃 💚💚
Ok, so I preheated the air fryer to 300 and had one egg explode with 3 minutes left to go for medium. I guess no preheat? Also do you not ad any water at all? Kind of stank up the kitchen.
Hi! You can just convert the temperature to celsius. I cook mine in 300 Fahrenheit so it's approximately 149 Celsius. You can even cook it in lower temperature but for a bit longer time.
Are they easy to peel? Last time I tried this following another video, they were rubbery and burned on one side. The instructions were almost exactly the same.
Quick, precise, painless explanation of how to do something. Thanks for making it about the process and not about yourself. Appreciated. Very helpful.
Aww thank you so much! 🥰
Great video - no long intro full of irrelevancies like so many do on here. Thank you - loved it ❤
Aww I appreciate the good feedback. Thanks so much!

I make my soft boiled eggs in the instant pot, in silicone cups. The best!
So no preheating?

I have question! So why not cook the eggs half the time required and then let them sit at room temperature and naturally cool down?
Thank you so much for this video ! I have the Ninja Foodi Smart-lid do you think it’ll work the same with the air fryer mode ?

You're welcome!
Just tried it, was bussin
Thank you so much!
How we’re they peeling off the shells?
excellent video
Do they eggs have to be at room temp before cooking? Or can you go right from fridge to airfryer? Thanks.
Hi! I cook them right from the fridge.
Hi sissy watching here. Dahil nito gusto ko mag boiled ng egg. Looks yummy
amazing!
Thank you!
Wow I need to try this👌

Hi! The temp I used is Fahrenheit.
Wow pwede pala yan sis gawin ko sa airfyer
Hi ! Thank you for this video !
How long and what temp would I need to use for 2 hard boiled eggs?
With this unit, for 2 eggs I would air fry at 270F at 15mins (using the reheat mode).

Could you just do four eggs, or do they overcook that way? Thanks
You could do just four but I think lowering the temp to 275 would be better and easier to peel.
Thank you ✨🥚

Does the quantity of eggs matter ? Like if I wanted 3 medium eggs do I still use the same temp and time for just three?

Are these eggs cooked from room temp or from the fridge.
Hi! They're from the fridge 😊
14 minutes total including the preheat?
I did not preheat turn out perfect
Ok, so I preheated the air fryer to 300 and had one egg explode with 3 minutes left to go for medium. I guess no preheat? Also do you not ad any water at all? Kind of stank up the kitchen.
Hi. I don't preheat mine and I also don't put water in it. Sorry that happened to you.
hate you didnt peel them. are they hard to peel???
why do you dip them in cold water after? is that necessary ?
Hi. Cold water/ice bath stops the eggs from continuing to cook.
Pwede pala sa airfryer mel .ma try nga din
Oo sis try mo.. change mo lang sa celsius ung fahrenheit na temperature
Are the eggs room temp or right out of the refrigerator?
Hi! These eggs are cold.. right out of the fridge.
How do they taste though?
They taste just like hard boiled eggs 😀
Why do you cut them with the shells on?
Hello! It's just my personal preference. It takes less time to just scope out the eggs especially when they're soft boiled.
could you do this in your ninja on the right side the 5 in 1?
Yep!
May I just ask, how can I hard-boil an egg in an air fryer with a maximum of 200°c?
Hi! You can just convert the temperature to celsius. I cook mine in 300 Fahrenheit so it's approximately 149 Celsius. You can even cook it in lower temperature but for a bit longer time.
@@CookWithMeldz so in 149°c how long should/could it cook?
Cook them for 13-14 minutes. I have the full cooking directions in the description box of my video.
Are they easy to peel? Last time I tried this following another video, they were rubbery and burned on one side. The instructions were almost exactly the same.
Yes, mine were easy to peel. May I know what temperature you set it to? I'm gonna make another video where I show the peeling step. 😀
@@CookWithMeldz 275°F for 15 minutes. But it’s a completely different model than what I use.
@@SunBunz I used the Ninja Foodie Grill model, they did not peel easy. I set the temp at 300. Maybe I need a lower temp.
@Jeepman89 did you place them in iced water immediately after cooking?
Did you pre heat the air fryer first?
Hello! No, I didn't preheat it.
Mine keep blowing up in the air fryer :(
yes, they cook just fine. But Most people also care about how to easily peel them. AF them doesn't help
It's faster and cheaper to boil them in a pan, so I'll stick with the old way
Your air frying and no water that's crazy for hard boiled eggs
They came out the same as the traditional hard boiled eggs. 😀 Some people who have air fryers prefer this method now.
Yaaa noooo
300 just burnt the shit out of my eggs
Aww sorry to hear that😔
Knife+eggshell=cringe
Worst recipe ever in an air fryer!!! They get rubbery!! I’d rather boil like done originally!!
No I will not subscribe "cutting" eggs
