i'm kinda regretting leaving the main stage and rtb (return to base) after interpol. i crowd surfed for a bit then got thrown over the barrier and got a fat brise on my side for 3 days. cos kol were brilliant at reading watching the vids. but i had been at the main stage for 4 sets on the friday

I love this song :) It is so 70s rock with a modern feel. Sounds like they are speeding it up a little, though. Caleb sounds rushed, like he's trying to keep up!

I could understand what you're saying if you were talking about an underground band playing a small gig, but this a band that play stadium gigs.
I was defending them amongst my friends in regards to their two previous albums, but after their latest effort... I just can't get behind that. Youth and Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak changed me. I found things to like on the two following albums, but aside from pickup truck there's nothing I really like on the new album. It lacks rawness and agressiveness. I could give a shit if they're popular, I just want songs that mean something to me again.
One of the best band's for last 10 years, i think when they record their albums,they keep it as close to live as possible,thus when they play live,its the real deal.
@kittehfaee I just saw KoL on 09/11 in Virginia Beach, VA. I went there expecting them to be awesome, and still, I was completely blown away. You have to see them to believe how good they are. It was the best concert I've ever attended, and I've been to some awesome concerts. Among the best I've seen were Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Sting, and Terence Trent D'Arby (who was actually pretty awesome). KoL is absolutely worth every penny of the ticket. "Unforgettable" is the best word to describe them.

At Leeds I saw many tents go up in flames and also one or two of those wooden telegraph-style poles which support the lighting forced out of the ground and put in - after gas canisters of course.
They where supposed to be coming to my towns festival, but now the festival went bankrupt, after 17 years with fun. Was REALLY looking forward to see Kings of Leon live.. now my summer is ruined! :(

Damn, they definitely without doubt one of the better bands as far as live sounds goes lately. And the vocalist's voice is definitely unique and distinct.
They're going to be one of the greatest bands of this generation. I love them.

Caleb's voice got more hoarser as he got older. His voice here sounds so young.
