On behalf of all South Africans..Thank you for your positive reviews of our country. Rea leboga !
"Starter kit for the real Africa" and "I almost got killed by a motorist - no pedestrian right of way in Johannesburg", and (... "The 'curviest' women" - real meaning the most unhealthy, overweight steatite women) are hardly a positive review my friend. South Africans with your xenophobia and self hate-imitations of western people! Mtscheew, we are not impressed. Sorry!
Le Nna Kea Mo Lebogela Warra!🙂
@@lemungagenu5103 I am laughing at you. Lol. Your negativity and jealousy won't eat us my friend, but they will consume you. Set yourself free and embrace the beauty of Africa. You know why your countries are shitholes, there is a lot of negative energy. Xenophobic or not as you say, RSA remains Africa's finest! And we love our country. God bless you.
SA is a gangster state

As a Kenyan I can attest Johannesburg is the most developed and advanced city in Africa, though my hometown Nairobi is also coming up nicely. 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇿🇦🇿🇦
Both founded by, planned and built by whites.
Im in South Africa but I love Kenya
@@jzee-Mat then why are you there you can go back its not like we called you
Caoe town is more advanced
Glad we are making out.
I’ve been in Joburg for 5 weeks, leaving tomorrow- and I’m coming right back, moving here 100% . Now I’ve been to
London, Paris, Sweden, Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic, Cartagena, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Iceland, Puerto Rico, Tanzania, and Kenya. I can confirm that Johannesburg has the most beautiful women with the best bodies I’ve ever fucking seen - Cartagena Colombia #2 . But this is crazy lol Also been to Atlanta, Chicago , NYC , Philly , Miami , LA , Houston , Denver , Vegas , Minneapolis, DC etc etc etc . This place , best kept secret in the world .
😂 😂 😂 Yall are Wild. Bring money for cows.

Yeah I agree
How about showing the curves in support of what's being said

Welldone on capturing Joburg so nicely, your videos have been very realistic. Thank you 🇿🇦
South African women are one of the few reasons we want to stay alive despite load shedding
👊👊🥰
wheres the lie😁🤧
I'm from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and will be visiting Johannesburg in April 2023. Thanks
Gladys, did you make it to Johannesburg? ~Grateful
Imagine not living in SA... Shwapha everywhere... I'd cry😟
🤣🤣😭
😂😂🤣🤦🏿♂️
I'll Commit suicide.

does that mean "flat" shape? Im from the USA excuse my ignorance
The infrastructure in South Africa is extensive and well advanced. That's probably the biggest reason why life is relatively inexpensive compared to other African countries. We love our country and will work to make it ever better..
This is what I always say Derek is that South Africans love their country. I cannot imagine being in any other country than my great country, South Africa. Yes we have our own issues like any other countries but yerr SA is lit.
Inexpensive? Advanced infrastructure? South Africa? Theeee South Africa that I live in? No electricity South Africa? Water gets cut off South Africa? R10000 for 1 bed room South Africa? R500 for dinning out South Africa?
@@NomaswaziMadi remember we are speaking relative to the rest of Africa. However, I bet you haven't been to Europe lately..
@@NomaswaziMadi Now you lie.
I have so much respect for My SA People. They love their Country. They don't run away, like Most of Us do. Nuff Love.
Thanks for the great content and positive review. Wishing you all of the best with your other trips.
Such an interesting video. I really enjoyed watching every minute of this video.
From the vibe the people give to the mix of traditional and modern lifestyles to the nature it is truly an amazing country
Great job on the video! We will be in South Africa in Dec 2024 for a 4-week tour. Really looking forward to seeing as much as we can!
This gentleman gives an excellent tour. He keeps you interested and the shooting is marvelous. I plan to enjoy more of his videos. So enjoyable and informative.
Great content..Informative 👍 👌
Thanks for the most fun and informative content. I totally enjoy all your content and am grateful that I found you. Travel safe and keep it coming.
Sly, don't forget Melrose Arch in your itinerary👍

Thanks for visiting my place :) Lovely video man!
Absolutely amazing
Biggups for putting the City of Gold on the Map. Keep up the great content and research.
Thanks for the insight. I plan to go there next year
Durban SA is the capital city of curves in Africa if not in the entire world, go check it out, SA is affordable not only affordable but the level of service and the quality for what you pay for is something to admire
That can't be true and you know that South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini and Lesotho has the most curviest women . I don't know if it's because of the mixture of Kgwesan DNA and Southern Bantu DNA.
Interesting
yes i will give it to zulus and xhosas
That's really false. South African Black women in general have curves. From Xhosa, Zulu, Tswana, Sotho, Vhenda, Swati, Ndebele ect. No one tribe has more curves than the other.
@@tyali84 You're right no tribe is curvier than the other. All South African women are equally curvy
Thanks my brother for an epic S.A. video.
Amazing 😍🙌 thanks for sharing
Great review, left in 1978, still miss the place after all these years.
Good lookin out Sly. You managed to put out a lot of information in a short window of time. It was very helpful
Thank you my brother. Luv from SA😊🥲🥲
Spending a month here for work so I appreciate you taking the time to make this. I lost it at the final item you touched on 😂
That was a lovely video, it made me a bit more grateful to be in Joburg
I am about a kilometre from you. Best weather ever. Blue sky therapy. And Greenery
Big ups brother for talking good about Joburg. We may never have beaches, but we have the lifestyle, the best in the country.
i like your videos alot. i love hearing honest reviews. (i have yet to been to continent of Africa)
I see you visited the Rosebank Market. 😎 Glad you enjoyed your stay in Jozi.
Baton Rouge Louisiana guy hear. I've been planning to visit Johannesburg for months. I've been looking for positive reviews before booking my flight and lodging. Thanks for the great review. Joburg I'm on my way!
A colleague from Zimbabwe once asked me if South African women did something extra to grow their bums. He was convinced South African women ate special food or had a secret ingredient that they knew. And i told him its all natural baba.
I loved the way you pronounced Xhosa.😂😂😂, you got a subscriber here.
So Johannesburg is basically New York City in South Africa. Every video you made of this place looks amazing🔥
But it's bigger than New York
@@hleziphidhlamini1012 u fr??
@@lesego2933 yes, in terms of area size. Not population nor GDP of course.

Thank you for saying this 😁. Our haters will hate you too for this comment because according to them, we're a shithole like they are 🤣
Great Video, I plan to visit in 2023 I can not wait. Wish you would have spoke more on the things to do and the riches that are there. I plan to. 👍
Crazy that I walk those streets everyday of my life as I live and work in Sandton. I don't get load shedding at all.
Oh so there is no loadshedding in Sandton, nice
All the best on your wedding Sly! 👏
Thanks bro love the vid im headed to Africa next month
Great to watch this….have to admit I am a bit nervous about visiting my niece in Joburg in February…..this video made me realise that its actually an ok and interesting place as long as I take a few very basic precautions.
I like the bicycle footage. Super dope.
That was a wonderful review. You are welcome in Jozi anytime. Baie Dankie.
If it were not for politicians messing up, South Africa would have been a haven by now. Can you imagine them cutting us off of electricity for eight hours every day? This is not on. South Africa deserves better, has been better and can be better.
Thank you 👏👏
not everyday and not 8 hours bruh stop lying
Well presented video.
Thank very informative bless you 👍
Man…i grew up in Sandton back when the Sandton Sun was the only highrise building in the area, wow its has got built up in a big way !
So we did that in a generation 🤔
I had the pleasure of visiting south Africa right before the pandemic. And I have to say, your description from an American stand point is spot on! This whole video was my exact experience. I did enjoy my time there. However for anyone who goes. Make sure you wrap up your luggage. I was forewarned, did not listen. And had some valuables stolen.
What do you mean wrap your luggage?
@@Peace2dagawdz with plastic wrap at home or at the airport or if you have a lock, lock your stuff up. I had some costly stuff stolen on my first trip. And the airline luggage desk just tell you there's nothing they can do about it. I'm sure they're all in on it.
@@r3nz_y142 thanks for the tip. I’m hoping to visit South Africa
Damn didn't expect you to say Johnasburg had the best curves! Thanks for the info lol. Keep up the vids sly 👌🏿
Thank you for your kindness. Load shedding is as a result of a corruption and lack of maintenance. However, like with everything we work around it and get along with our lives 🤣🤣🤣🔥🇿🇦
Thank you brother. Visiting Jozi next month. You should come visit Tanzania also
Thanks, Joberg is my next vacation
Joburg.
I hate Load shedding...😭😞it's still a culture shock and I've lived here my whole life
SA government was warn that our economy is growing at a fast rate , so the government must quickly build power station , but they failed, now they are struggling to cope with demands
Yeses nxa..
Lol. That all surface level stuff. Our country is actually heading in the right direction when you look closely at the trending negatives things going on in it.. Remember me in about 10 years time. Things are purposely falling and being torn apart and making room for a more efficient economy. And it can't happen on the cracked foundation we've been trying to rebuild it on since 1994.
A Coalition government is around the corner and it will be a huge mess for a few years. Then slowly stabilise as the years progress. Our country cannot be run by one party anymore but together they can be more efficient because each has their own unique strengths where the other might not be good at. Watch this beautiful mess turn into a real powerhouse in about 10years.
Can't wait for you to come to Durban bro 👌🏽
I find the curves issue so funny, maybe because for us its the norm. I mean they are everywhere!😂😂
I grew up in Joburg and move to the UK at 19 and I remember to this day the first time I came back to visit I was mesmerised by the amount of women with amazing curves and it clicked in my head when I lived in Jozi I never paid attention because it was normal to see women with curves.
I didn't realize it until I left South Africa how curvy women are back home🤣🤣🤣
Coming from America, I saw the curves issue in Ghana. It was kind of shocking. I mean, there are plenty of African American women in America but its a whole lot different for the women who never left the continent. They are still the way God intended for the world to be. LOL
Curves are NO issue…. It’s a pleasantry 😂 👀
I’m just listening to him botch the names and I love it.😂❤️
If you are still in the Sandton area, hit me up and I will invite you around for a South African Braai (Barbecue). I love entertaining and especially showing foreigners some South African hospitality. You are welcome to make a video..... Hit me up if you want to join us
The electric wall plugs are called in South Africa 3 point plug, and most of our appliances go into either the main 3 point or into a adaptor 2 point plug...the chinese & pakistani shops in South Africa sell multi-plug adaptors. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Congrats with 100K!
Nice one
Joburg drivers are generally more aggressive than the rest of the country, you know when you're back in Guateng especially when visiting other parts of the country. Traveling further west you'll encounter more Afrikaans speaking people.
I find Cape Town drivers more aggressive and I am from Soweto.
Thank you visiting soon trying to get as many tips as possible
Sly you're the power 💪🏽
We appreciate the positivity that you afforded our most cherished cowntree 🖤💛💚❤️💙🇿🇦
Loving your travel vlogs! And I am Glad you appreciated the Curves in all shapes n forms that our country has to offer! 😅
You are welcome back any time..
but please next time try to keep ur camera more hidden in the CBD areas or ask ahead of time which places are 'unsafe' to be walking around with cameras and mobile fones.
Just Something to be mindful of..
Stay Safe im the rest of your Globe trotting!
Much love from South Africa! ❤
Good job! You didn't talk down on our country especially regarding the loadshedding.
I haven't heard anyone else mention that we should be very careful when trying to cross the street. Great tip!
The reason is outside of the city. The country grows a lot of our own food. Whereas a lot of other African countries have to import a lot of their food.
I think pedestrians do have right of in the ZAR, I think the plugs as well as the side u drive on the road follow British standards, and load shedding problems did not happen in the past(problem is two decades of close to weak governance), but I like this video and the opinions shared. Try visiting other cities in SA like Cape town next.
I have been enjoying your videos! I'm an American living here in Jozi and it's been refreshing seeing this new content. Load shedding is terrible but stay somewhere that has a generator. The rand to dollar is very good right now as it's pushing towards 18 Rands to the dollar. I hope you enjoy your time here in this country!
Goof for you but not for us
@@tloutlou2655 very true. The exchange is all over the place. A few months back it was in the 14 range. Not sure how long this current trend will last

My brother I’m 24 and I am burnt out of America and South Africa has been calling me for the past 2 years I’m researching now how to live there permanently and give us my U.S residency
Make sure you visit first, you don't want to move halfway across the world just to find out that you don't like it.
And making friends ahead of times will help also. I did that a year before I went to Jamaica, which was last year. Went back in February of this year, and just got back again on Sept. 19
Like the other fellas have just said. Visit the country first and make sure you're able to make some lads.
You want to give us your US residency? It's been tried before but we've always resisted. Lol. Just joking. Visit SA. We love Jozi but It's probably not like anything most people from outside are used to, both in a good and a bad sense.
@@loserwinner2654 if I told you things in America are not as they seem that the media doesn’t show it’s nothing but food shortages, school shooting, inflation, high interest rates, mass spread delusion THE WEST is falling and it’s only getting worse
How you been to go en Tuxtla Gutierrez Chiapas Mexico
Im headed there next month! thank god you made this video lol
You'll find the same pricing situation through Africa. The more screwed up the country, the more you'll pay for decent accommodation. In South Africa the free markets reigns , so competition kicks in.
Team curve lovers lol yeah, we out here.
In South Africa cars have right of way not the pedestrians 👋🙂
And those curves are all natural😌
Glad you enjoyed yourself man :)
Loadshedding isn’t all year round. It comes and goes. We can go months without loadshedding sometimes.

Great review, wish more people would know this about Jozi, it's a beautiful place. What's the name of that place with the arts and crafts at the end of the video?
There is stages to the loadshedding, we are currently in stage 5 , my are is from 8am till 10:30am sometimes it’s 8am to 12 or later depending on the stages
I'm African american..... I know a few women from Johannesburg and one from Durban hopefully one day I vacation there to see them

What is the name of that market at the end of your footage?
Was around this area today, strange😉😉
Where exactly is this market here in Johannesburg? The last part of the video.
I have been there 3 times and planning on moving there. It’s a beautiful country
THABK YOU SO MUCH
Can you state a specific name of the area where indoor market , some place where they do music during the day ?
Hi. What is the second place on the video (the park with all the tables)?
The last place is the market in Rosebank I guess?
Hello nice to meet you, new friend here 🤗🔔🙏🏽👍
Hi Sly hope you enjoy yourself in SA.we really appreciate you content 💜 for you to learn SA league start with Zulu most people aspecialy in jozi & Durban & Other parts of SA can speak or hear the league so with Zulu you can even go to Zimbabwe Swaziland,
True, but a bit tribalistic 😑
Did you go to Southern or LSU?
What s that place with "paddock" over the shelter
@7:15 the top is the new standard for South Africa and the bottom the old standard. The new standard is more compatible with more regions, however there is no deadline for the adoption of the new standard and more likely to have it at more expensive places. So it is best to travel with a plug adaptor for South Africa which you can get at any of the major airports.
Banking in SA is amongst the best in the world.
It's really good, however we still have a long way to go in order to be a cashless society. We could learn a lot from Kenya and India where pretty much everyone has a mobile bank account.
@@worldview1736 SA banking system is way advanced than that
@@lozi4163 why are there so many unbanked South Africans? Can you make free immediate payments for taxi fare or groceries from a spaza shop? Why is the South Africa on the brink of being financially greylisted if it's so advanced?
@worldview being cashless is unreliable that's the sad truth as the western globals financial system collapses many of you thankless societies will lose lots of your money the collapse is inevitable unless they print more dollars but that will lead to severe inflation Americans will feel it and the world
@@worldview1736 I don't see how what you just said is really linked with our advanced banking. Are you aware that our banks such as Capitec have went down to win global competitions of most tech advanced bank in the world? When Kenya make it to that level, we will talk, for now you are just mumbling and mixing issues
