Already 25 years. I remember you as a scruffy headed boy running around 90 miles an hour. I'm thinking, he's a crazy. But brilliant. You've had my attention from the beginning. From you cooking in your garden to cooking for your friends to now sharing your family Christmas with us. Here's to another 25 years. 🥂🍾🍾
Thanks Jamie - watched this whilst having my lunch and planning what to have for tea. Made chicken in a bag with butter beans, garlic, chilli and cherry tomatoes, served with roasted jersey royals and tender stem broccoli.. it was delicious! Even my 10 year old finished his plate!! X
I’m going rice, pinto beans, tomatoes, corn, sliced okra (I love okra in everything), chicken thigh, chipotle, cilantro, sort of a southwest chicken bowl vibe. Can’t wait to try this out!
Great idea! I sometimes do tortilla meals, or make-your-own anything really - salads, shawarma, burgers. Put out all the supplies and let them go to town!!
This is why I love this guy. Every recipe is pretty straightforward but also challenges you. And at the end you have an amazing meal that this guy has given you the confidence to cook. Well done mate. So that’s Friday night sorted
Your such a down to earth Chef, I know I am older than your parents and your a well grounded Man , Husband, Father and Son . Going to make your Humming Bird Cake this coming weekend as additional 90th Birthday treat 🥰
man.. this makes me feel old. my mom was really good at cooking and that got me interested to begin with. but jamie, seeing you on TV, your recipes were some of the first i dared try myself and i will always be grateful for that.
It warms my heart to see you celebrating 25 years of the naked chef. I remember watching this show on the Food Network when they were aired every once in a while late at night. Then being hooked on Oliver’s twist. As a young man, you made me believe that I could be a chef too thanks for filling your dream and making me able to dare to dream. In My book you’re one of the greatest chefs I ever learned from. Thanks for everything Jamie and congratulations and enjoy.🎉👏🏾💙✌🏾🎂🎊🥳
We learnt this in the boy scouts during the mid 90's. How to make a parcel, put it on the engine of car. Needed heavy duty foil and potatoes. Beans and spinach would have gone to nothing or burnt black. And, once you got to your destination, you had your dinner ready. All root vegetables do really well in this.😅
Congrats 👏 25 years....been watching for almost that long!! Your the bestest!!! Thanks for ALL you healthy and easy food ideas, of course I LOVE the slow cooked shows too. Thanks Jamie!! CHEERS🍻
Love you Jamie, I remember watching you for hours on german TV when I was a little boy. You inspired me to cook and even enhance my english skills. Love your books & the energy, though it's probably been tough the last years when I see the internet getting mad. Lotsa love, pls never stop using your slang ❤
Thank you Jamie, for making a great difference in our lives with your sharing of practical and marvellous methods of nutritious cooking all these years! ❤
Saw Jamie do an Osso Bucco in tin foil on a show eons ago. It turned out great and the clean up sooooo easy. Lost the recipe but made it several times way back when and it was fabulous!
I learned to cook with your books. Before I met you my signature dish was Nagasaki Chicken . King of Puddings. Man your home made pasta. Jethro Tart - now that was a recipe of note. and I can believe that I have been watching you for 25 years - I have a giggle each time I start to cook & 2 things happen - kettle on & colander in the sink. oh wow your Forerib of Beef - can't remember which book that was in but that was a great crowd-pleaser. And I am sooooo going to cook some of these up over our summer - I used to do the fish version often & I can imaging the chicken using deboned thighs with some smooshed chickpeas.
Jamie, you are amazing! I love the foil pouch thing but I usually do it with fish. Now I can widen my horizons. Great ideas as always. Thanks for your continuing contribution to our nutritional health.
Been a fan since that first book and tv series. The Fragrant Green Curry has been a favorite since those days. Haven’t opened the book in ages…might have to do that. I have cooked quite a bit from it. You were such an inspiration in those days and you really have grown since that “young lad”. Who knew what the future would bring???
can anyone tell me - what is this with jamie ... since the naked chef days i am hypnoticed - inspired - created dishes - opened my own restaurrant - and try to pass this passion for food to my clients and they love it all because of jamie you changed my life - love u jamie
Some great ideas, Jamie. I usually do yours as you describe for a few iterations, then as you say, give my own twists and therfore learn from your ideas. Love to you a d yous, John
When I was young, ripe tomatoes were sold cheap as frying tomatoes. This seems perfect for making things ahead for the family. My grandchildren are so fussy about veg and won’t eat the same thing. Now they don’t have to.
Wonderful, Jamie...thinking what I've got to make one of those baggies! I did just make your vegetable patties with mushrooms -- only wasn't so successful with the pastry...will need another practice session to do it well.
Here is my combo, 4 pcs of stinky tofu, 2 cloves Durian, a quarter tin of surströmming and last but not least 50g of Danish blue. This may trade in for a 25 years of community service.
Watching from British Columbia Canada. Yummy ideas! How about eggs over spinach and mushrooms.s with a sprinkle of parm? Would make a great brunch item. Olive oil and a few cherry tomatoes...mmmmm
Something that has bothered me for awhile now. If we don't cook with aluminum pans, why should we cook with aluminum foil? I thought cooking with aluminum was unhealthy. I just want to know if there is a difference. It's a great idea, and couldn't it be put on parchment paper first, and us the foil to seal it?
I always wondered that too. Once I spent a ton of time buying safe pans yet the wife puts the A foil down. WTH women?? But maybe the pans are aluminum clad where it can wear off and into the food vs the foil which is just a sheet of it? Need to research this.
I love the creativeness and cleverness and I can almost smell and taste it as I watch. But we are a bit more aware now than we were 25 years ago of the dirty business that is bauxite mining. Can you Jamie not please invent something reusable made of a more sustainably sourced material?
These are the sorts of recipes that made me fall in love with Jamie's cooking back in the day. Love em.

Used to watch The Naked Chef. Cannot believe it has been 25 years. How time flies when I have enjoyed cooking and following your recipes.
Thanks Jamie - watched this whilst having my lunch and planning what to have for tea.

You are an artist and the most inspiring cook/chef I've ever come across. I will never tire of your recipes.
Jamie has a passion that makes him unique in the cooking world. Greatest Jamie❤
Agree with you totally!!
Jamie Oliver is ruining culture foods.... Worst chef , everything he puts is wrong....
Haiyahhhh 😂😅
Jamie I can't believe I've been watching you for more than 25 years 💓
I’m going rice, pinto beans, tomatoes, corn, sliced okra (I love okra in everything), chicken thigh, chipotle, cilantro, sort of a southwest chicken bowl vibe. Can’t wait to try this out!
it's really about finding joy, being creative and having fun - isn't it? thanks a bunch, keep posting please
Congrats on 25 yrs + in the food industry and teaching us to always make food with love.
Did this with my kids, let each one personalize his own dinner, they loved it.A bit messy but so much fun.
Great idea! I sometimes do tortilla meals, or make-your-own anything really - salads, shawarma, burgers.

I made Gennaro's grilled apricot salad last week. I bet apricots or peaches with chicken, veg and lemon would be amazing.
Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

Wonderful. Thankyou on so many levels. Almost no dishes to wash and a fantastic meal. I'll prep a few at the same time. Thanks again from NZ.
Just swapped out my welsh breakfast brunch for the chicken parcel 👌 going to try a prawn tom yam inspired one next. 👍🏻🏴
Sounds great and versatile, and always have aluminum (tin) foil at the ready so super convenient too. Bravo.
I love it! What a brilliant way to whip up something so delicious ❤
Jamie, you are amazing! I love the foil pouch thing but I usually do it with fish. Now I can widen my horizons. Great ideas as always. Thanks for your continuing contribution to our nutritional health.
I might give this sort of thing a go if I can get all or most of the ingredients! Thanks for the idea’s and tips 👍

@@JamieOliver The best food channel on UA-cam 😊
It would be great to do a burger patty on a bed of onions and mushrooms with swiss cheese no splattered stove top. I'm inspired
Fantastic dish: all my family have been eating this for years, from your original book 🙏
You are better every year!!!
Who remembers when he wrote messages in the original Naked Chef episodes? ❤ I was really young, but I swear I can remember that ❤
“We’re 3 bags in, and life is looking good”
Love the sound of the fish one 🙌 I'd also use prawns and noodles
Halibut and butter , lemon and dill , sliced par cooked potatoes, glass of pappy van Winkle.
I’ve always read that washing the juice off the beans will help with reducing wind that they cause 😂
Here is my combo, 4 pcs of stinky tofu, 2 cloves Durian, a quarter tin of surströmming and last but not least 50g of Danish blue. This may trade in for a 25 years of community service.
