I've often said that the Scrype of Technology and Temple of Technology motifs sound like they were composed by P03 himself - having a vague idea of how music works as a concept and putting in the bare minimum effort to create something technically recognizable as music but unsettlingly incomplete and grating, using machine sounds - something he was familiar with - as his instruments. This sounds like he took the time to do his homework and actually create something even bigger.
Not only are those really cool interpretations of the original boss themes, but this that is honestly one of the higher compliments I got on this - seriously, thank you lots!
He put effort to this theme because this is the boss battle against him, and he thinks he's way too important to have his boss music be on a level as low as all the other ones.
the fact that aside from magnificus, the angler's motif is the most prominent. referencing the fact P03 obviously had it out for the angler due to him allowing act 1 to happen.
Considering how well the original remix worked as a P03 final boss theme, this is really just taking it all the way there. I especially enjoyed the addition of other songs/motifs into the song in Phase 2, like the Angler, Magnificus, and Royal Dominguez.
HOW IT ACTUALLY GOES FULL: Phase 1: Po3 uses only bounty hunters, but also downloads mods to use against you. (credit to Berke Donmez from this point on) Phase 2: P03 starts having a "gamer rage" and mocks modders, calls them "unimaginative morons, content stealer, etc...". Then tries to prove it for entire phase like this: -Places a Mole man, blocks all cards with trees, gives you a lot of bones which starts glitching and stucking each other (clicking them doesn't solve it) and plays cards from other acts such as Amalgam and Frank&Stein. Phase 3: P03 (doesn't) calms down and decides to show who is the "best game designer". All items takes a few step away from the card slots and now you have "7 CARD SLOTS". All current cards are gets blocked by explosive bots and places 2 Firewall (Has Repelsive and Guardian sigil). For the rest of the phase, P03 only plays weak cards with 1 or 2 damage (which is still hard when you have 7 card slots) Post fight: He calls the game "useless card game" and says it doesn't matter and how we can't stop the Great Transdences. Neither casette of "Inscryption" or him loading the game shows up but Leshy still appears in the back and kills him like how he did in the end of Act 3. Other scrybes doesn't shows up, Leshy says "That robot was annoying. I'll see you next time." and game fades out. Kaycee's mod credits plays except it's the credits for the this mod. I love that he calls Inscryption a "useless card game" even though the entire point of the Great Transcendence was to upload his version of Inscryption to the internet... Phase 1: It's just an average fight... even though P03 will ONLY use powerful, high-cost cards with randomly-chosen, activated MOX upgrades (even though he won't have any MOX-boosting vessels on his side). Phase 2: He starts using cardified versions of the other Scrybes as well as their subordinates (keeping them grouped up alongside a random 5th card and always (after at least two cards are defeated in the current wave) giving you a one turn attack opening before preparing to send in the next wave). He may also) use the gimmicks of Leshy's bosses and Royal Dominguez in the same way Leshy uses them (with the exception of the Angler, where P03 will... much like the Act 2 battle against him ("him" as in P03)... target the card with the best stats instead of the most recently-played card). P03 WILL be out of cards and start only using the boss gimmicks once all 4 waves roll through until he's beaten. Phase 3: P03 decides to, after giving up on his Phase 2 strategy, make the scales twice as large (so now 10 damage is needed to tip them all the way to one side or the other from the middle) and brings the Uberbots back against you one more time (much in a similar way to how Leshy brings back the Prospector, Angler, and Trader during the first two phases of HIS fight... except P03, unlike Leshy, won't use them in a set order). The Uberbot behaviors for P03's 3rd phase are below: The Photographer will (at the start of your turn on his first appearance) take a picture of the board and (at the end of your turn on later appearances) reset the board to the state it was in when he took the picture (he cannot appear for 3 rounds after his previous appearance. He is the only Uberbot restricted in this way). All cards on your side that are destroyed in this manner are shuffled back into your deck and can be redrawn... P03 is unaffected long-term in a similar way. The Archivist will (at the end of your turn) force you to choose a file that P03 will have betray you (its essentially a hostage file except P03 will note he has no plans on deleting it "this time"... he will still tease you if it's a music, image, or video file). The Unfinished Uberbot lets you (at the start of your turn) decide what will happen when your turn ends (it's essentially the paintings but the top (trigger) rule is always "When your turn ends" and they are only there for the turn the Unfinished Uberbot is there for and not coming back the next time it appears). G0lly has you make a card at the start of your turn that P03 then steals and uses for himself at the end of your turn regardless of if you played it or not... though P03 will create and give you a custom card of his own in return (and will replace the gift into the spot it was in had you already played the custom card before it was stolen).
Very interesting interpretation of what the boss would be like! I especially like the phase 2 interpretation with the cardified Scrybes, as well as the expanded 10 damage scale requirement to beat his third phase. This would be more fitting if this boss was in the base game already... however, I will say the actual mod's P03 boss is quite different from this. Best way I can describe it without spoiling is that... well, P03 makes it very clear from the mod's startup that he's aware you've downloaded a mod for the game to make this work... and he's gonna use that knowledge against you. (Again, highly recommended you check out the mod if you can - it's quite difficult, but genuinely really, really good.)
@@PuristTheSpecter Honestly, I designed my concept for the three phases to be based around the idea that (since I can't actually check the mod, so this is just how I would've designed an Act 3-centric, Kaycee's Mod-style mod) P03 was the one who made his mod as a way to conceal the fact that he's still new to the idea of being in control and did not AT ALL expect Luke and the other Scrybes to be dumb enough to let him win. He would rely on the other, now-cardified Scrybes (particularly Leshy because P03 understands that he lacks what Leshy is best at) a lot whenever there isn't a battle going on (since he feels like he can handle those himself well enough). Meanwhile, he's constantly trying to figure out WHY his game and mod always feel like they are lacking something. The dev logs would instead be conversation logs, where P03 is just talking to the Scrybes in his attempt to figure out what his game is missing. One thing that I failed to mention is that, in Phase 3, P03 is forced to start overclocking so that he can handle the Uberbots constantly being extracted and locked back up so frequently. Due to this, if you win, he'll short-circuit and it cuts straight to the results screen and (if you got enough CP) unlocks a new challenge, starting deck, and log. But if you lose, his ecstaticness of winning and excitement of the journey to his victory snaps him out of it, allowing him to cool off and say something (first time would be "So THAT'S why Leshy enjoyed his game so much.") before it slowly fades to the results screen... and P03 would even behave differently the more times you lose to Phase 3, being much more calm and happy and even being nicer to G0lly before, after your 10th loss to Phase 3, letting the Uberbots not be forced into ZIP folders so long as they don't get in his way (and unlocking a new log where the Uberbots meet the Scrybes they were based on)... and P03 continues getting progressively better the more you lose in phase 3 even though he would, at that point, no longer need to overclock since he'd no longer need to constantly extract and move around files. In other words, whereas winning gives you lore-based and usable rewards, losing to phase 3 specifically would give you story-based rewards (P03 would still get help from the Scrybes though). Again, that's just MY interpretation of how a Kaycee's Mod for P03's segment would go since I myself am unable to play Inscryption at all.

Honestly, imagine how amazing it would be to have a Kaycee's Mod of Act 2 to... you know... make the weakest Act in the game actually fun... And the final battle is against all four Scrybes at once, finally working together to use their strengths to bolster the others' weaknesses... all in an effort to stop you from "ruining" their world with the mod. This is based on how Leshy has shown annoyance towards Kaycee messing with his vision of a perfect game and the only P03 battle I could find on YT using this mod (the mod that adds a mod that is included with the base game to the base game... that breaks my brain a little) shows how much he hates modders in general... which they could use as a common ground to team up, and the other Scrybes likely also share this opinion or a variation of it: Grimora would want to rest, and a mod that extends her life after she discovers she ultimately failed would be torture for her; Magnificus, meanwhile, probably won't want his "art" to be "smeared by imperfections".
Leshy doesn’t necessarily hate all the changes kaycee he just has some he likes and dislikes. For example he didn’t like the nerf to fecundity but he liked the boss totems one. He is a man of extremes he wants there to be broken stuff but he also wants you to earn it.

one thing i found funny in the end of this mod is not matter how many times you finished the mod the dude is so dumb and smug that dosent see leshy before been killerd.
This is one of the best remixes I've ever heard, it's genuinely amazing. But now that I've listened to it for a while, I've got to ask. At 7:17 people start chanting "heave ho" with a synthetic melody playing in the background. What does this section represent and what's your thought process behind it? It's my favorite part of all three phases, but I can't put my finger on how it fits the scene with P03 and the Uberbots lol. Sounds more like something you'd hear from a Leshy theme with The Angler, Prospector, and Trapper.
Thank you for the kind words! They mean a lot! But to explain what part is supposed to be: That section is a combination of the melody from "The Scrybe of Magicks" / "A Final Duel," and the rhythmic chanting from the final boss of the Kaycee's Mod expansion, "Captain Royal Dominguez". This is meant to fit in line with the rest of Phase 2, which is a hodgepodge of leitmotifs from the other Scrybes (plus a bit of G0lly's and Blank Canvas themes for extra flavor). Now, why is it a hodgepodge in the first place? Well, to put it simply, it's meant to fit in with P03's attitude in the second phase. Though I can't detail specifics without spoiling part of the final boss fight. (Read ahead if you're okay with final boss spoilers for the P03 KM mod:) . . During the boss fight, P03 makes his opinions about modders and game modding in general very clear: he's not a fan, and (hypocritically) accuses them of lacking originality. In phase 2 especially, he tries to make a mockery out of them through bringing in cards from Leshy's campaign (and one from Grimora's), as well as spawning an absurd amount of bone tokens to cover the player's hammer and prevent then from using it. The music in this phase is meant only to further his point, as it uses a lot of other melodies that aren't his, thus contrasting with phases 1 and 3 in a very distinct way.

The reason this (probably) sounds so distorted is that AI and language model’s don’t learn in the traditional sense and have no concept of conciseness, so if you asked an AI to compose a song, it’d mesh all the info about songs it has into one mess only guided by what it notes THINKS should PROBABLY go together.

In the case of the second phase, there is actually a reason it's basically a Scrybe theme mashup. In the mod that this is used in, the second phase of this boss has P03 (somewhat unjustly) mocking modders for putting elements and concepts from thematically different areas into unfitting places, and demonstrates this by using cards from other Scrybes' campaigns (among other things). I thought using other leitmotifs would feed into this mockery. Otherwise though, fair criticism, I can't say this track is the most original one ever produced. I suppose that problem likely stems from basing it from an already-made remix of Uberbot Activated. I'll still take an 8/10 though.
Give me a couple days (or maybe just tonight if all goes well) and I'll have the songs uploaded to my SoundCloud for a free download (both this full song, and all three of these phases separately). I'll probably make a YT community announcement for it, I gotta make an update on what's going on in my life anyhow.

one thing i found funny in the end of this mod is not matter how many times you finished the mod the dude is so dumb and smug that dosent see leshy before been killerd.
This is one of the best remixes I've ever heard, it's genuinely amazing. But now that I've listened to it for a while, I've got to ask. At 7:17 people start chanting "heave ho" with a synthetic melody playing in the background. What does this section represent and what's your thought process behind it? It's my favorite part of all three phases, but I can't put my finger on how it fits the scene with P03 and the Uberbots lol. Sounds more like something you'd hear from a Leshy theme with The Angler, Prospector, and Trapper.
Thank you for the kind words! They mean a lot! But to explain what part is supposed to be:
That section is a combination of the melody from "The Scrybe of Magicks" / "A Final Duel," and the rhythmic chanting from the final boss of the Kaycee's Mod expansion, "Captain Royal Dominguez". This is meant to fit in line with the rest of Phase 2, which is a hodgepodge of leitmotifs from the other Scrybes (plus a bit of G0lly's and Blank Canvas themes for extra flavor). Now, why is it a hodgepodge in the first place? Well, to put it simply, it's meant to fit in with P03's attitude in the second phase. Though I can't detail specifics without spoiling part of the final boss fight.

During the boss fight, P03 makes his opinions about modders and game modding in general very clear: he's not a fan, and (hypocritically) accuses them of lacking originality. In phase 2 especially, he tries to make a mockery out of them through bringing in cards from Leshy's campaign (and one from Grimora's), as well as spawning an absurd amount of bone tokens to cover the player's hammer and prevent then from using it. The music in this phase is meant only to further his point, as it uses a lot of other melodies that aren't his, thus contrasting with phases 1 and 3 in a very distinct way.

The reason this (probably) sounds so distorted is that AI and language model’s don’t learn in the traditional sense and have no concept of conciseness, so if you asked an AI to compose a song, it’d mesh all the info about songs it has into one mess only guided by what it notes THINKS should PROBABLY go together.

8/10, i just feel like 70% of the track is just leitmotifs from other themes which dont make much sense to use
In the case of the second phase, there is actually a reason it's basically a Scrybe theme mashup. In the mod that this is used in, the second phase of this boss has P03 (somewhat unjustly) mocking modders for putting elements and concepts from thematically different areas into unfitting places, and demonstrates this by using cards from other Scrybes' campaigns (among other things). I thought using other leitmotifs would feed into this mockery.
Otherwise though, fair criticism, I can't say this track is the most original one ever produced. I suppose that problem likely stems from basing it from an already-made remix of Uberbot Activated. I'll still take an 8/10 though.
