Yes! My all-time FAVORITE NASCAR engine is that which was utilized by the 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Aerocoupe NASCAR Stock Car. If I'm not mistaken, 1986 would sound the same as the 1985 clip. The thing is, I happen to have a Hot Wheels car modeled after the NASCAR Monte Carlo Aerocoupe, known as the "Chevy Stocker" The color scheme matches that of the 1999 Criss Cross Crash series. Better yet, I accurately recreated this Hot Wheels car in Forza racing games, and even created this video of it racing at Homestead Miami Raceway: ua-cam.com/video/VPSmos-XENc/v-deo.html However, the Monte Carlo in Forza is a 1988 model, not an Aerocoupe as it doesn't have the extended rear window of the Aerocoupe. And while I did put a NASCAR V8 in the Monte Carlo in Forza Motorsport 7, that engine is a lot more modern than what the REAL Chevy Stocker would've originally had. NASCAR engines have been utilizing Fuel Injection since 2012. Prior to that, they were originally equipped with carburetors. This means that the Chevy Stocker would've used a carburetor on its engine.
@@davidjaime6407 Objectively, it isn't a small volume. There's one exception in the world where bigger engines are more common, that doesn't make said country the standard.
NASCAR is simply the best motorsport on this round ball, V8 and pure driving isn`t beaten yet. This is love, this is driving. A commentary from a German, who traveled to talladega and avondale, only 4 this sport. USA, best country.
@@steverboot well, yes, but they used to be. The origins were that stockcars were actually stock, and had to have a certain amount of vehicle sold before they could participate in stockcar racing.
The term 'stock car' has been a misnomer since 1966. That was the first year that modifications were made to the vehicles that made them different from true stock cars. It took a while for safety regulations to chip away at racecar identity, but by 2003, all NASCAR 'stock cars' utilized a common template. Without the decals, you couldn't tell a Ford apart from a Chevy without opening the engine hood.

They really aren't big engines they are around 358 cubic inches. It's the compression and big cam makes it sound so good
