Curious, you said in first video that it was possibly a lung shot? Two months later you come and drop it, so I am guessing it wasn't a lung shot first time, just a flesh wound?
Yeah just a flesh wound, we only speculated a lung shot because of the blood measurment on the arrow. It actually went along the ribs not through the ribs so not penetrating any vitals at all on the first shot.
Good video, but I'm skeptical of the hunt and of the kill. At the time of the shot, the stag was facing to the hunter's left, leaving the hunter to shoot at the animal's left side. The arrow appears to me to sail completely over the animal's back. However, at timestamp 15:10 in the video, the stag is seen being shot in his RIGHT SIDE and running off WITH the arrow sticking out from his RIGHT SIDE, running for about 50 yards before the arrow falls to the ground. This shows that it wasn't a pass-thru shot, and would be unlikely to cover the arrow with blood to the vanes. Also, at 16:03, the hunter finds his arrow imbedded in some [thick] grass. Had the arrow fallen from the stag at 15:20, it would most likely just be laying flat on the ground; not buried in grass. In the video at 15:16, you can see the arrow falling VANES FIRST onto the grass. No way for the broadhead to get stuck in the grass. Finally, the camera angle at 15:10 in the video is not possible if the hunter only had ONE camera man, as the stag is practically facing the cameraman head on . All this taken together, I believe this video is a combination of at least 2 different hunts, and not a single hunt. I'm not saying that it didn't happen just as the video shows; I've seen lots of crazy things happen with deer. But I am very suspicious of it's veracity.
Thanks for your detailed comment, yes these are two hunts. There is a part 1 to this film series and you have commented on part 2. The scenes you speak of with the Stag being shot on his right side are reminiscing memories of the hunters previous encounter with this particular Stag. Have a look through the videos and find part one and have a watch of it. Thanks, Davie and thanks for taking the time to watch my films I appreciate it

@@j.e.wilds-hunting Hey Joe ... yip, seen the first one. Both top notch. I think in the second one your audio, and especially the music choices, were much better. The music cuts and transitions were spot on with what was going on in the clips ... seamless and subtle enough so the viewer isn't distracted by those audio/music cuts and changes. You remember me commenting on the last one how I thought you has just the right amount of 'slow mo' clips ?? In the second film I thought they were a tad over done ... too many slow mo clips. am I the only one who thinks the footage of the arrow just magically disappearing into nothing is fake? looks like they added in the arrow tail post production
Woah there's usually a ton of haters in you're video saying all hunters are murders and saying stupid shit when they don't know anything about what hunters do but there was none in this video
Yeah your right man, crazy aye that the non hunters even watch the video. Then they buy meat from the supermarkets. I prefer to get my own and then make a good memory out there on the hunt
So the stag needed one night in pain to die from your arrow! Why don´t you buy a pet (p...... extension.......car) It would be less painful for animals! I´d rather use my rifle!

You need a drone mate,be able to see more from up there.
you're so underrated
I don't think you missed over the top because of your yardage figure Joe. He simply jumped the string and dropped out of the shot. Have a look at where you aimed on the animal and then the arrow's path .... the arrow goes right where his shoulder was before he dropped. Tough luck .... cheers, Matt
Haha ... bit premature on that comment wasn't I ... should have watched the whole video first. Nice job !!!!!!!
Haha yeah man had to keep you on the edge of your seat on that one! Did you enjoy the film? Had you seen part one at all?
@@j.e.wilds-hunting Hey Joe ... yip, seen the first one. Both top notch. I think in the second one your audio, and especially the music choices, were much better. The music cuts and transitions were spot on with what was going on in the clips ... seamless and subtle enough so the viewer isn't distracted by those audio/music cuts and changes. You remember me commenting on the last one how I thought you has just the right amount of 'slow mo' clips ?? In the second film I thought they were a tad over done ... too many slow mo clips. That of course is just my opinion and I know how you really like a good amount of the slow motion stuff so take my comments with a pinch of salt. As always, edit the way you like it !!! Cheers, Matt
Thanks man glad to hear your opinion, it's always good to hear what others think. I'm releasing a film this Sunday coming, have a watch and let me know what you think of that one
Insaaaane. These videos must take you hoooours to edit 😮
A few hours in that one thats for sure bro
@@j.e.wilds-hunting faaark yea I bet
Awesome😊👏👍
Nice hunt mate and well deserved! The adrenaline of getting in close with a boy is what hunting is all about! Was the darker stag behind him bigger? Good job 👍
Thanks man! Yeah the Stag behind was a bigger one. If you haven't seen the Part one of this 2 part series you should definitely scroll back and give it a watch, it's well worth it and tells the story
Great shooting
Bom dia muito bom, no Brasil não tem arqueiro
Videos advertised as public land ,
I hope you enjoyed the film man! Have a read of the video description, it talks about the history of this hunt, also more in depth info on part 1. Thanks for the comment man!
I know were u are, i did ur new road lol
Haha good work! We reckon you guys did a good job
am I the only one who thinks the footage of the arrow just magically disappearing into nothing is fake? looks like they added in the arrow tail post production
I eat store meat sometimes but I prefer things that I hunt myself
At 15.13 you can see a second arrow hit the animal. That was the kill shot.
Haftoo be pen deer surely
Mantap bro😋
Filth! Top effort!
Haha thanks for the comment!
15:12 😁
So the stag needed one night in pain to die from your arrow!
Why don´t you buy a pet (p...... extension.......car) It would be less painful for animals!
I´d rather use my rifle!
