As a New Zealander I'm not used to seeing content made by New Zealanders, and to see such incredibly shot footage of our country is one thing, but to experience this hunt with you was an unreal experience. Inspiring stuff. Cheers.
OUTSTANDING video on my favorite way of hunting. No matter what you call it; Ambush hunting; Stealth hunting; Sneak hunting, etc., this is true hunting at its best!
Wow what an awesome hunt. Well done. I wish I started younger doing this, started at 50 years old and now 52 and have just one spiker ,one hind and a cracker 11 pointer stag so far. Such a grea country we have and now starting to really get out there to enjoy it. Keep up the great work filming.makes us more determined to get out there ourselves to do what you are doing.
love the effort you put into each video being carrying the camera equipment, taking your time to get great angles, while at the same time not making it seem like its your job, always inspiring to see these videos.
This video does more than inspire.. makes me want to call in sick for the rest of the week and go on a mission!! Haha, mint video, one of the best I've seen.
Beautifully Filmed Such A Marvelous Hunt Can Feel The Heart Thumping And The Adrenaline rush after so much patience for the perfect buck to pop and give perfect opportunity, u truly insipire.
Wonderful meeting you three at the boat show. Enjoyed your presentation and the chat afterwards. Have now subscribed to your hunting channel as well. Great content Joe.
Podcast...You beauty. Now ive got you in the car while I head out chasing the elusive Sambar. Love your passion Joe and thoroughly enjoy being along for the ride.
I just found your podcast Joe. Have binged the first 3 episodes in the last 2 days. It's bloody great. Keep up the great content mate and welcome to the world River. Congrats.
THANKS, for every video you make. NOBODY, is even near the quality of your videos. Your videos are so clean and let me immerge into the world of a hunter in new zealand. Thank you for you content. All the best!!!
From an old buck to you young bucks get out there get amongst it while your young and fit before the heavy packs start to give you grief and those old rugby injurys start coming back to bite ya in the arse...another banging production Joe and I think it's about time we have a movie
Awesome hunt! The scenery is so beautiful. I could literally just sit on the bank of the river and just listen 👂 to the wilderness. So calming. Great video & congratulations on the big stag!
Watched that Sitting at my kitchen table in Ireland ( just moved here from NZ) loved every minute of that hunt. Now time to start saving for a return hunting holiday. Keep up the good work.
Loved it. That’s what u call conservation hunting. Taking out a big old boy. He’s spread his blood lines. Ive hunted twice now in NZ. Absolutely the best place and nicest people
Conservation hunting is keeping the invasive pest populations below the levels they cause major modification of the environment to the extent it affects vulnerable native species, animal or vegetable. Recently at an event attracting some of the remaining old southern hunting identities who experienced the decline (commercial recovery) of wild animal populations and their recovery since that reduced significantly, the consensus is there are more animals about now than since the early days of that activity, possibly ever. Despite 1080 & any efforts from hunters. Also good specimens. It's not likely to last, and unless conservation hunters take useful steps, like erasing whole groups of females & juveniles (twice as many as out of sight) expect some different methods of control introduced. Which might be effective. Getting the idea of not shooting to waste is difficult for some to get past (it's ecological recycling). Fair enough in easily accessible parts, or if economically viable to commercially recover, elsewhere an impediment to a sustainable healthy environment.
Such a beautiful video, the work you put into it really shows and that stag was a beauty too! Congrats man! Videos like this make me want to get out and explore what the world has to offer! Thank you for the inspiration and these amazing videos!
I'm not from NZ and just curious. There seems to be no direct bullet trap behind the deer when he takes the shot. Are these kind of shots allowed in NZ ?!
Was so cool to listen to the podcast this morning and then be able to watch the film in the evening. Really like the extra layer of detail you can add to tge hunt via the podcast! Learning as much as I can from your videos and hope to get out there on my own soon.
Love your work Joe, that was an epic hunt, and what a climax and trophy. It would be a dream to hunt in New Zealand, your mountains and valleys are something else. Thanks for sharing it with everyone.
Thanks always for your awesome videos! Child friendly and so well up together! Your respect for the animals and how much you enjoy your surroundings is so inspiring ! Thanks again!
I really enjoy your videos and they have inspired me to start filming my own hunts so I can share them with the whole world. Thank you for the inspiration and keep up the good work. I hope to see you in the field one day. Thank you Kendall
Great work.. Well done.. It's nice to have a decent limit for your enjoyment . Such good values to be taught. Thx for the great effort from the journey to the video recording... Thx and wish to have such experience one day.. ❤
Hey Mate. Love your videos. They are definitely the best out there. I have just listened to your podcast with Sweens and that has so much information and knowledge. I'm keen to get into guiding but have never really had the option to.
Brilliant hunt and effort mate.. you did the groundwork, worked out a plan and made it happen on an truely wild big stag. Love the stealth and style of sit n wait you use, similar to how I hunt Sambar in Aust.. well played man
Solo hunting and filming is an incredibly difficult task, especially obtaining your level of content! I am always impressed with your videos and your hunts, you are my favorite hunting show to watch on any media platform, keep it up and congrats on an awesome stag!
nothing more human than hunting! if you weren't a decent hunter you didn't last long. It is only in recent human history where pricks like you can claim moral high ground by being against hunting.@@POIDE19
... I don't judge your passion for hunting, just one question: "Why don't you settle for photos since you certainly don't hunt out of need or because you live in the forest and have to stock up for the winter?? Thanks
Good gracious, he is beautiful Joe. I like the fact that there are no predators there, here in the states the work is just beginning after they go down.
