this is great, showed me cut and dry how to adjust my wastegate actuator. i just wish i lived on the west coast so i could bring my 850R to IPD and figure out the best options for performance upgrades face to face with them!
Great video as usual from you guys. Thanks :)

very educational..
@bmd66
Well we're in the service shop so noise is the norm, We'll head up to the R&D lab next time!
@gigidy5
Yes, 3.7 lbs would be preferred, up to 4psi so long as there is no boost overshoot.
Nice 411 on turbo's
just adjusted my wastegate, went to 4psi, but unlike in the video, i had to adjust in the opposite direction, boost seems to gather slower now, gonna retry tommorow, 96 850 turbo
do you still set the wastegate at 4psi of you upgrade the CBV to the HD kit? Middle spring.
Robert,
On my 1995 850 2.3T how should I set the actuator rod?
The same as in the video (4lbs)?
Thanks
@damitzmike
You're a rebel, how's it working? You are monitoring with a boost gauge?
would a worn diverter limit the spooling up of the turbo..
im running a hd tcv on my 850R
I got a boost gauge a few days ago and i get 7- 14 psi is that normal to have it so different? Its a b4204t3 01 s40
@ScLeCo
I'll let him know...
Add vortex to everything you can as you improve your turbo to rush the good old fashion air... O~¥~O
