Music is 'The Wolves' by Ben Howard courtesy of Universal Island Records
This video is so nostalgic for me now. Really was part of my childhood
Ditto!!
Man i feel the same
Same for me with the "around the world " one
Same
Same dude. This and Imaginate.
My English teacher Mr. Barry showed our sixth grade class this vid. At 23, I still watch this.
I'm on a MacAskill binge - I'm convinced this guy rode a bike out the womb
Probably came out doing a wheelie!
abortion is murder
yaw
MaQuGo119, not if it’s done on a bike, then it’s simply a miscarriage.
😂😂
12 years have passed again. It's my favorite Danny video. I've met Danny a few times, he's the friendliest man ever. He patiently signed autographs for my sons and even managed to get my wife interested in bicycle stunts during a friendly conversation.
I remembered this video, came back and yup - still super amazing. Can't believe almost 10 years have passed!
ikr :0
Which is 'nothing' now.
BY far the most underrated Danny Macaskill video
Yeah, I was thinking the same... and maybe the best in my opinion... music, tricks, spot... all are in perfect harmony.
BoringBaldi7
BoringBaldi7 I still have Way Back Home as my favourite
yes, best video, by far. he s a poet...
ExtremistStudios definitely! 480p though right? So good still.
It's like an extension of his body. Crazy how comfortable he is with it, almost like walking would be more awkward than riding a bike.
SO TRUE!!
2:28 defines your comment
When I used to ride BMX back in the 70's - 80's, Stu Thomson was a huge name back then riding for REDLINE.
Its impossible not to watch this video over and over. Apart from Danny Macaskill being an incredibly talented person, the video and sound clip work brilliantly together to showcase his skills. Watching Danny at work in clips of this quality, its like poetry in motion - everything is so fluid... Love it!
Hey how are you I'm from the future
It's coming up to the end of 2024 and this video and song is still as classic as ever. It's like a warm hug watching this video.
I still can believe this was made 9 years ago its such a great video
Childhood gems
This version of Wolves is so much better than the original! This is where I discovered Ben Howard many years ago!
AlfieeGaming sammmmmeeeee
Same her man!! Ever since the first time I watched this video, 7 years ago.... now I've been to the last 3 shows he's done here in Colorado
Touchè.
Going to see him again in January.
Agree, couldn't listen to the original when I searched it up now, thought something was off and then searched for Industrial Revolutions. Not disappointed. It's an acoustic version, I assume.
Same here
I watched this when it came out 8 years ago, its still as brilliant now as i remember it. A true inspiration...
My favorite video of all time. The combination of the amazing skills of Danny Macaskill, incredible lyrics and music of Ben Howard combined with the artistry of the video has been life changing for me. Not sure what I will do with it, but I take it as a challenge to do better.
Still remember watching this programme on TV! So glad it introduced me to Ben Howard as well!
This video made me love Ben Howard also haha
Ethan Concha same here
That Channel 4 prog with vids from different young film-makers?
I can remember my dad taking me here straight after it came out, such a eerie location
Damn, 11 years ago me and my friends were cruising with our longboards and chilling to this song a lot! Half of them are now somewhere far away or dead and this song hits really hard, keep on pushing bros!
I feel you there man. I was just young, smoking some pot, drinking, now a lot of my friends are dead from OD or unable to get sober. I’m 1 year sober on the 23rd, life gets so much better! But it’s interesting to feel the nostalgia.
Just insanely good. I'm glad that they showed him biffing one trick just to show he is mortal.
awesome riding . . . but music fits perfectly . . .cinematography is quality too. Top professionals all round
Igrew up watching Danny. I'm 17 now and come back and watch this video whenever I wanna feel like im 4 years old again sitting in my living room binging Danny Macaskill videos.
Don't get me wrong, the bike stunts are amazing to watch and major applause to you for them. I have to say though, what really fascinates me is this abandoned ironworks. Nowhere else in the world would you find this sort of setting other than in Britain; if it wasn't built in the Victorian Era it was probably built to the same design specs, was presumably operated for decades with only the bare minimum of changes and modernization, then rather than leveling the site to put up something new, they just shut it down and left it as it was. Only in Britain would you find such wonderful sites of industrial archaeology.
I would love to explore such places & take photo's.
sirrliv urbex photography
Hear hear
sirrliv I'm also fascinated by this and imagening that this once was in use.
Try Poland
5 years on this this is still my favorite video and still listening to ben howard
It's a masterpiece in terms of the way it's been shot, the abundance of skill on display and the choice of music, I could watch this all day!
Came back after 9years to watch this gem👌🏽 never gets old
Probably my favorite bike edit of all time
Danny. You WOW me. This is your best yet. The musical score, the setting, the cinematography, and most of all your ability to ride whatever may be found in front, above, below or all around. Thanks for the inspiration!
STILL THE BEST vid of Danny imo
👍👍💥I discovered this video at least 7 or 8 years ago and here in 2022 it's still amazing... No fear! It's just about getting done what he's got in his head 👍
Used to watch this video with my grandpa, every single time i went to my grandparents. Really is something nostalgic this video
This makes me cry, it's so joyous.
Is it better or worse when your more co-ordinated on 2 wheels then you are on 2 legs, amazing.
Saw this vid in school, ever since had the song stuck in my head :)
Name of song?
Seen lots of Danny`s more recent videos but I still like this best
this was filmed about 2 miles from my house I was out a walk n watched him go along the wire rope n spoke to the boys, said they were just making a wee film. I didn't even have a clue who danny was at the time
Yo that's sick that is from 2 miles from your house
Sure was, I couldn't believe it when I saw it on TV. Coolest thing I ever saw while out walking my dog
Where was this filmed?
dlchambers waterside a tiny old mining village near Dalmellington in ayrshire
no m8 am not into bikes but was coo to watch
His sense of balance is incredible!
ONLY HE CAN PERFECTLY DO THIS STUFF !!! VERY AWESOME !!!
It's been 10 years?!
This video was wayyyy ahead of it's time.
No he visto nada igual en mi vida ! es simplemente increíble lo que hace con la bicicleta , a veces me caigo de mi bicicleta al querer subir a la acera ! jajaja felicitaciones , los videos de danny son de otro planeta , gracias danny por tu magia !
The song is Ben Howard -wolves
It says in the description mate
thanks
But where can you find this version of it?
Benkkuful Only here. This track is better as oryginal
Rozpruwacz1 Yeah I completely agree. I'd want to listen to this track without the bicycle noises etc. on the background, but seems like this version doesn't exist anywhere else.
Hello, Danny Macaskill, it is the nature speaking. Have you heard of this thing called "physics?" It is supposed to apply on everyone.
I watched this video on the program Concrete Circus on History TV 18.
Nostalgic childhood memories ♥️
Love from India 🇮🇳♥️
Couldnt walk on the rope but rode his bike on it
+Piyush Menghani HAHAHA, same thinking
He's a legend that's why lol
Walking makes the cable wobble with each step. On the bike it stays steady.
You should check some Indian Street trials riders too
I can't even do a bunny hop. So depressing.
Mad skills
Awesome!
This takes me back to being a kid in summer, just carefree, out exploring the world around you.
*Tries to do this*
*Falls off while opening gate*

Stu Thompson and the other film makers, editors, music and staff are equally gifted and talented. Good these catz is out here.
Who would even dislike this video?
jealous people coz there is no other reason or maybe they didn't like the song lol
2024 anyone?
how can there be dislikes on his video?
That's just the world that we live in.
The God of troll other bikers
Was just about to post exactly that. I have observed that though, when someone reaches a skill level or ability that shines. Someone always resents it or feels the need to take a dump on it. Inferiority complex I think. Awesome video.
What a great song by a great songwriter! Never gets old.
2019 November
How many years his knees can suport that kind of abuse?
TheLaoruga hahahahaha Awesome....!!!
Gravity... what's that? 😊👍🏼
It's a curved or warped space-time around a mass.
Thanks, Christian and 8b64z! I love your comments and how this emotionally exhilarating video merges with physics. There's a bridge between our emotions and science I think.
not only is this guy amazing on a bike, the soundtracks he uses for his vids are so good
2018
Green screened! So fake! Obviously that's Spider-Man.
It's 2022 I'm pished watching this work of art.. hope everyone that sees this has a brilliant life!
@cutmedia 9 years on and this would still be fresh if it was delivered today!! Kudos!
After many years, I am happy to come back here
Concrete circus the best series history channel has ever gave us. Feeling nostalgic watching this after so many years. Love it❤️
Excellent complementary video to go with "Inspired Bicycles" and "Way Back Home" when introducing Danny to first time viewers. Followed up with his latest "Epecuen".
Simply the Best In The World!

Use to watch Danny and Adam morewood after skool , 13 years long time ❤️❤️❤️
Danny has given new meaning to our good old cycles..Cycles will be proud in this world of ultra-modern bikes and cars...May God protect him always during these stunts..
I will be ever thankful for this video introducing me to Ben howard! I remember not even being able to find this track on YT at the time. such a brilliant track selection for an incredible show of skill!

I used to watch this video all the time. I decided to come back to it and wow the views have gone up.
I used to see this video on my Keypad Cell Phone around 8-9years ago.

It's unbelievable how talented some riders can be
This and wee day out are my two favourite videos by Danny maskill
This bloke is unbelievable. He never fails to amaze me.
This cat has got some talent! Professional filming and top notch biking does not get much better.
Great skills. Guts. Will power. . .and imagination! What a thrill to watch this young fella perform and ride his bike with flips and stunts not possible for us ordinary people.-ASL
I could watch Danny for ever and still not get bored!!
Talent is mighty with this one
9 years later and this song still slaps
Pure Joy, I cheer after every seemingly impossible stunt, Danny forever!!!!!!!!!
I dont know why but I watched this video when it came out and I wanted to watch it again and I could not and 7 years later I finally found it again

I was the exact same, strange to think we found it at the same time aswell.
Danny will always be my favourite
I come back to video every so often....the precision is amazing...and I v grow to love this song....
This is beyond insane, how could anyone duplicate this amazing rider!?
Still impresses me almost 8 years later!
Just can't stop watching and listening, love the music, warship the skill and bravery.
this was my childhood :D what a legend
Danny is an inspiration for all of us - no matter what you are attempting to do: Do it OUTRAGEOUSLY good. Painting? Become the "Danny MacAskill" of painting, etc. Also: This shows > Can't be done (amost) doesn't exist. Wish you the Best in Life Danny.
Hollywood ought to call him! He's terrific!!!
damn can’t believe i’ve been watching this video for 9 years
This has to be my most nostalgic vid so many memory’s 😢
I keep coming back to this.. I've watched it over and over again but it still never fails to amaze me. Danny the 🐐
It's not only impressive, it's melancholy and beautiful.
The song, edit and clips were all brilliant..
Why is this man so awesome!!!!!!!!
Mad respect. Biking on the wire like a tightrope walker = mind blown!
My parents showed me this around 8 years ago, and I keep remembering this video and song. Even but I haven't heard this song/seen this video its crazy
