Ribble Valley 10K Race 2023

- This was a 10K race between 12:57 5K runner Marc Scott and European Cross country silver medalist and 2:08 marathon runner Emile Cairess.
It was on a hilly course hosted by Blackburn Harriers as the Northern Athletics 10k Championships. The video was hosted on @RunThroughTV around Ribble Valley. And won by Marc Scott after a very fast final 200m in a time of 28:47.

It was a rolling hill course
Marc will have to find either a sub 13:05 5000 or beat the ridiculous 27:00 entry standard for the 10,000 by 30 June if he wants to join Emile in Paris.

On a very tough course as well
What amazes me, is how effortless they make sub 3 min\km look. It’s a full on sprint near enough!
