You mean Nicest car in the World. From the factory look, it made 4th best beautifully Designed car In the WORLD out of 100 of the greatest designed cars..
+Jacob Parker True Auston Martin are beautiful and Jaguar F-Type is beautiful too but am verry sorry this car is more classy and classic and it's the most beautiful car in the world I've ever seen! Jeremy clarkson reviewed the Alfa Romeo once and that was the best review ever that was one of the most beautiful car ever made and it looks exactly like this stingray but this stingray its just more beautiful
I built a 1964 coup Black with a 550 HP 327 and a manual 6 spd all high performance suspension, big disc brakes, lowered with knock off wheels and leather. Only body mod is a big block hood. Runs 11’s in the quarter on street tires. I’ve owned it since 1983. Mid year Corvettes are one of the most beautiful cars ever created. I will be buried with this car.
wow, I love japanese cars to death, but I appreciate all cars and this corvette is absolutely breathtaking. It is the epitome of a car with a timeless design. So in love with this car. So elegant and sleek. I don't have words to compliment this car like it deserves.
+budleyca1 Corvette's nowadays are incredible. If American Cars are doing anything is only getting better. look at Cadillac, MOPAR, Corvette and other small American Super car brands and tunners. they are some of the most impressive vehicles in the world!
budleyca1 Its not a thought bro. This is fact. Corvette's and Vipers has some if the fastest lap records around the world. The pair also come in the top 10 to 15 fastest cars around a track beating hyper cars as they do it.
As a collector and true petrol head, this Stingray is the most bad ass and absolutely my favorite 65 Corvette I have ever seen, thumbs up for this man. Extremely well done!
i agree. its something i'd like to have. i love c2's even in factory form, but that fat low road racing look sells it. reminds me of old trans am racers.
I just said this is my dream C2. Her name is Ester. Red with the black Trim. And the black wheels. Thank you so much for sharing this car. God bless you and your family. 💯×infinity.
So stoked that this car won the 2013 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational this year. It's not just a show car, or an auto-x car. I still can't get over how good it looked in person. It really is perfect.
question....I saw one in Edmonton a couple of years ago, in a race just before the indy race up there...any chance this is the same car????.....sure looked similar, and I loved it, of course!!!
built on an assembly line in st louis missouri, thats where i live and where im from, what a coincidence as this car stood out to me so much. im not a huge corvette person ,but this thing and the guys emotion to it and the story is just absolutely stunning.
I love stories like this, a car kept in the family for all those years, having 3 generations racing it together, it's such an amazing bonding experience.
1963 through 1967 Corvette Coupes have to still be one of the most beautiful cars ever produced. Like the video said, to be produced on an assembly line in Detroit instead of some high end Italian manufacturer is a miracle in itself. Great video and thanks for sharing!
The beauty in any car, particularly this Corvette, is not only how it physically looks but the bond it shares with it's owner. Never sell something that is dear to you. Money will always come and go. This car's value is more than just a price tag, it's a generation of memories.
Your family's Vette is awesome. You have a car thousands of others want, but can't get at a reasonable price. You are very lucky and I love how you kept the car. It's awesome!
There are no words to properly express my admiration towards what this car represents. It's one of the finest American made cars I've ever seen, at any price. Although it's a bit sacrilegious to take a classic and resto-mod it, it is also exactly what I'd want to do if I bought myself a C2 Corvette. True automotive perfection! 😀
That is a gorgeous Corvette and it has an awesome story behind it. It's how my family feels about the Trans Ams we have today. I would definitely love to see that Corvette in person, it is a true legend. God bless.
Agree with Mike's early comment that it's all about beauty, and not just visual beauty, but the whole package. When your mind takes in all the engineering art and human craftsmanship on display, it's really overwhelming.
I bought a piece of land a few years ago and it had a '67 Sting Ray on it, in need of restoration. I tried to get them to include it on the deal. They said no and they towed it away. Well, the dummies were hauling it up a gravel road and it came loose off the trailer, rolled downhill, slamming rear end first into an oak tree. Spit the back in two and it's trashed. Dummies! God, people are stupid.
This thing is way more attractive to me than a C8. And at 500hp it probably can rumble with a stock C8. There is nothing like that hood and front mounted motor. The wheels the flares, superior job. Best looking Vette I can remember.
love the old sting rays - they are timeless classics and the only vettes I actually like a lot. I like what this guy did to the car. Made it modern but kept it old school. I wish chevy/ford would take a page from his book and bring back an original old body style instead of going retro/modern. But that will never happen so I guess that's why we have to rebuild the classics.
When I first saw this car, it looked different.. Don't know how or why, but then they talked about the fender flares..that's why this amazing car stands out. Also the red is a color I don't see a lot; ever on Corvettes, at least.
I know this is an old video, but this car reduced me to tears. I drive an Audi A6, a great car in its own right. I'm a muscle car guy at heart, and this is my dream car. I'm pretty sure this Vette is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, the noise is among the most beautiful things I've ever heard (apart from machine gun live at the Fillmore). Thank you, for keeping this whimsical beast of a machine alive all these years, and for driving it how it was meant to be driven.
It’s immaculate. Great job on the build. Wow. Just....WOW. That’s how you flare right. And the plexiglass wing in the back is simple and genius. I’ve never seen a build like this ever. You sir own a priceless one of a kind Corvette. The best I have seen.
I just want to say, thank you Brian. Thank you for keeping this beauty in such great condition. Thank you for being wise in the upgrades you've put in it, and more importantly all of the 'upgrades' you didn't put in it. Thank you for actually using the car while also keeping up with it. Thank you for taking care of this car. Thank you for letting /DRIVE make this video. And oddly enough, thank you for keeping it in the family. You and your family are wonderful and I hope to one day have a car that I can pass down in my family.
THANK YOU for saying you could never sell it because of its massive sentimental value. I love that. Can't tell you how much it bugs me hearing guys who have these beautiful cars that have been in the family 30 or 40 years that they've poured their heart, soul, and wallet into say "eh, if the right offer came along..." NO! There is no right offer for that. It's a family heirloom. Get your head out of capitalism for just a split second and understand that some things have more value than money can provide. There's more to life than dollar amounts
I second that! 60+/- years ago, "Family" meant something, something worth fighting, protecting and honoring and some have even died for their "FAMILY!" Great story Guy's, well done!
Well said! The new stingray doesn't even look like a stringray imo... The concept design that they had looked more like stringray than the one they are producing. The production model looks more like a wannabe viper front with a camaro back
the curves of a 77 stingray a little bit. The taillight still resemble to much of camaro imo. When I saw the concept of the stringray I personally thought that looked my like futuristic version of the stringray than anything.
CrushedJustice Yea, well they can't make them identical. It took me a while to get used to the tail lights but I think they suit this model best. Hopefully, they go back to round tail lights in a couple years. Then again, who am i to speak on what they should do, I can't afford one lol
Love this big muscle segment! I respect all restored or modified classics and anyone who can give them tlc but for nice to see people actually believing big muscle can handle with just some tuning. I know a few italian car guys who think their cars own the twisties. I'm specifically modding my '70 challenger to try and prove them wrong.
Very true, people always confuse them for muscle cars when in fact they are not and never have been. They've been a sports car since day one and were created to compete against European sports cars. The muscle car movement was after its inception and that role went to the Camaro, not the Corvette.
that is by FAR the most beautiful corvette i have seen, of ANY kind.
Couldn't agree any more
by far!!!!!
Count me in!
derek davis Yeah, it's very sweet! It's fuckin SCARY,but, beautiful at the same time!
I’m planning to make one! Lol.. its one of the sexiest cars ever, vette or not..
Owned my 63 for 32 years. X wife tried to make me sell it. Thats why she is an XXXXXXX WIFE!!!!!
You sir, have you're priorities in order.
Cars are priorities lol
Tom Sprague good job man , good job
we support you to death against wife and all women
Tom Sprague hats off to you man
Tom Sprague Sold her instead ;)?
I like the clear plexiglass wing on the back. Provides the function without spoiling or hiding the original lines.
@Zarion 11 function over form.
@Zarion 11 thing is, it's super hard to see so it barely even makes a difference
The title is wrong, original 1963 corvette has SplitWindow at the back. Very fenomenal , historycal and fully AMERICAN🇺🇸HERITAGE
In my opinion, the C2 body was absolutely the most beautiful of Corvette bodies and a proper fender flare somehow sends it over the top!
Easily one of the nicest Corvettes in the world.
You mean Nicest car in the World. From the factory look, it made 4th best beautifully Designed car In the WORLD out of 100 of the greatest designed cars..
Jonathan Alerte Yeah....from a list of muscle cars. And what source are you getting this from?!
Alex Trabal stfu
Jonathan Alerte I would like to see the list as well.
Noah R I asked a question you fucking dumbass
This car is a masterpiece. It should be considered in the top 10 custom cars ever made. It's simple and maintains much of the original look.
this is the most beautiful car I have ever seen
Nooooooooo look at the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage that's the sexiest car you'll ever see
Jacob Parker no
***** You sound like such a douche saying "vette"
+Jacob Parker what an idiot bro u suck
+Jacob Parker True Auston Martin are beautiful and Jaguar F-Type is beautiful too but am verry sorry this car is more classy and classic and it's the most beautiful car in the world I've ever seen! Jeremy clarkson reviewed the Alfa Romeo once and that was the best review ever that was one of the most beautiful car ever made and it looks exactly like this stingray but this stingray its just more beautiful
Coolest vette out there period, there are not words for how awesome this car is. That stance though...
stantons27 The GIANT black rims and tires make it look like it's riding on black holes. Amazing.
whats name of rim?
The stance is crazy good!
Maybe not enough words, but there are enough letters.....Corvette, not vette. Have some respect.
Robert Mantell it really doesn’t matter what are you on
I built a 1964 coup Black with a 550 HP 327 and a manual 6 spd all high performance suspension, big disc brakes, lowered with knock off wheels and leather. Only body mod is a big block hood. You know this is the same year Corvette as the one my mom had back in the day. a '65
***** This is when American cars were built properly, these are real cars, not like the crap they build today...
+budleyca1 Corvette's nowadays are incredible. If American Cars are doing anything is only getting better. look at Cadillac, MOPAR, Corvette and other small American Super car brands and tunners. they are some of the most impressive vehicles in the world!
If you think so...to each his own...
budleyca1 Its not a thought bro. This is fact. Corvette's and Vipers has some if the fastest lap records around the world. The pair also come in the top 10 to 15 fastest cars around a track beating hyper cars as they do it.

i agree. its something i'd like to have. i love c2's even in factory form, but that fat low road racing look sells it. reminds me of old trans am racers.
Hands down the most beautiful car I've ever seen
This probably one of the best looking C2 i have ever seen. Hot Wheels made an exact one in their premium series.
I just said this is my dream C2. Her name is Ester. Red with the black Trim. And the black wheels. Thank you so much for sharing this car. God bless you and your family. 💯×infinity.
I come back to this video every month just to see it and hear it in action. Truthfully amazing
Possible, but this car lives in Northern California.
the black wheels & the red colour r beautiful on this amazing car
built on an assembly line in st louis missouri, thats where i live and where im from, what a coincidence as this car stood out to me so much. im not a huge corvette person ,but this thing and the guys emotion to it and the story is just absolutely stunning.
how could you live there, and not love this baby?????...it's America at it's best!!
I saw this car again at the Good Guys car show. Here in Scottsdale Arizona. It puts my 65 Corvette convertible 327, 350 horse to shame.
I love stories like this, a car kept in the family for all those years, having 3 generations racing it together, it's such an amazing bonding experience.

St Louis, Missouri
Beautiful car man! Don't ever sell it. Pass it on as a family heirloom! Think about the epicness about having a car in the family for 500 years!
+David Lyon you are a fucking idiot
+Raytorus seriously, that car is gorgeous
RRtradestar Yeah im not disagreeing
+Raytorus oh I know. lol I was agreeing that the other guy was a tard
+Raytorus Normally I don't like seeing insults like yours all all over youtube. You're diagnosis is correct though haha. That's what I was thinking
THIS IS HOW YOU STANCE A CAR
If you wish to ruin the aesthetic.
Irvine860 Yeah in the wrong body
However the c2 Flat Body truly works with the suspension
This is perfection. This is also a full family member. And, the right family have it in their possession. Thankyou. Thankyou. Thankyou.
The beauty in any car, particularly this Corvette, is not only how it physically looks but the bond it shares with it's owner. Never sell something that is dear to you. Money will always come and go. This car's value is more than just a price tag, it's a generation of memories.

That makes you proud to be an American. The exotics are great but there's NOTHING like American muscle. Awesome story, awesome car.
When your mind takes in all the engineering art and human craftsmanship on display, it's really overwhelming.
this model of corvette is the most beautifull.its realy looks like a race car
I think the 1950 vettes are nicer
its a corvette so its still better than a ford XD
Cebastien Larochelle Lol
Jaylon Melendez we have a gorgeous 1956 sitting at work in our showroom. Immaculate! it always puts a smile on my face when i see it every morning :P
wow this piece of art made me cry,
I made your dad cry.
Dummies! If you'd already bought the land, as far as I'm concerned, they left the car on the land. It was your car. Shoulda sued them for the damage.
I'm so sorry
This thing is way more attractive to me than a C8. And at 500hp it probably can rumble with a stock C8. There is nothing like that hood and front mounted motor. The wheels the flares, superior job. Best looking Vette I can remember.
Somewhere in the 90s the value of these Vetts have gone through the roof. This is a super car in attainability.
Wow. This thing is so beautiful.

BEST BIG MUSCLE EPISODE EVER!
Interior fantastic..as it should be...more cars today should be like this...
This has to be one of the most beautiful corvettes to exist. It brings tears to my eyes to be able to witness such beauty.
When I first saw this car, it looked different.. Don't know how or why, but then they talked about the fender flares..that's why this amazing car stands out. Also the red is a color I don't see a lot; ever on Corvettes, at least.
best looking track ready c2 corvette I love this car
His dad sounds like a great dude. The z28 72 Camaro is such a nice car!! Haha started with the 74 great video!
Definitely the best looking fender flares I've seen on a Stingray. Beautiful ride.
What a beautiful car. Just wow.
This is the car of my dreams. Damm this car is amazing.
so beautiful, i would die if i owned that corvette
hows prison?
phenomenalpnut hahahahaha lmfao
hows staring at my ass. woooo wooooooooo
It's art meeting engineering....a truly beautiful machine. I'm glad people are making things like this....
It’s immaculate. Great job on the build. Wow. Just....WOW. That’s how you flare right. And the plexiglass wing in the back is simple and genius. I’ve never seen a build like this ever. You sir own a priceless one of a kind Corvette. The best I have seen.
Ha!! He’s driving in the hills around my town. Livermore Ca.
So beautiful, it's engine doesn't want him to talk so it interferes with the mic :p
I don't even like vettes, but this is freaking nice.
I just want to say, thank you Brian. Thank you for keeping this beauty in such great condition. Thank you for being wise in the upgrades you've put in it, and more importantly all of the 'upgrades' you didn't put in it. Thank you for actually using the car while also keeping up with it. You and your family are wonderful and I hope to one day have a car that I can pass down in my family.
Love the styling, love the sound, just can't get this car outta my head now as the best looking Stingray I have ever seen.
Very very nice car, i only change the rear wing the rest of car is perfect! REAL MUSCLE CAR
Is this the same corvette that's in the new Fast and Furious Movie? I saw it in the trailer...
Anthony Leonetti yez
Or like I Saw the full movie
Yea that’s why I came to watch this video
just looking for this comment lol
tail light 5:55 and would never be given a ticket for it
A thought provoking episode featuring a truly beautiful car with an outstanding meaning and history. Thanks to all : )
This has got to be the MOST beautiful Corvette I've ever seen, anywhere, ever, at any time, ever. Period.
So good they had to use this car in Fast Furious 8.
Well said! My Grandads first car was a 1961 Vauxhall Victor F Type and he drove it everywhere, when momey was tight he was forced to sell it, 10 years later he bought it back when he could afford it, then when my dad was old enough to drive he passed the car down to my dad as his first car and he drove it up until 1997 when i was born and was forced to take it off the road in the garage as it had engine problems, a few years ago my dad passed that car down to me for my first car, i have since fixed the engine problems and now working on completely restoring it to its former glory :) and that car i shall never sell, it shall be passed down to my future kids etc
+Darryl Williams That's awesome. I wish I had a family heirloom car like that. That's one of the reasons I take stories like this so personally when people put a price on them. I'm like "I'd just love to have something like that, here you are contemplating pissing yours away for a couple bucks" sad
Exactly! somebody could offer me a million for it and as much as i'd like to have a million i couldnt bare to part with it unless it was going to my kids. When my dad gave me the keys he said "just promise me that if you ever think of selling it i will gladly take it back off your hands and give it to one of your sisters haha". My Grandmother has done the exact same thing with her wedding ring, My grandad originally sold the car to buy that wedding ring so she knows how much she meant to him. she passed the ring down to her daughter and her daughter passed it to her granddaughter.
:)
THis Car should be A DLC(Downloadable content) in GTA V ONLINE. AMERICAN MUSCLE UPDATE... not enough muscle cars in it.
yes please
YOUR WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED! INVETERO COQUETTE CLASSIC & TOPLESS!!
well aint that sum shit.. next up i want a los santos shop upgrade withe everything from custom paints, to new parts for all vehicles currently out, and new cars like the acura nsx, and the new nsx, and maybe even the new series of dodge vehicles...
Technically, the new Jester resembles the new Acura NSX concept. but yeah the previous NSX would be very nice.
oh yeah i forget about it..
Fantastically done, that’s what they should all look like, congrats your a lucky man, the rest of us will watch your videos and wish we could drive too
checkout my video of a 64 corvette its even nicer
The 63 to 67 corvette hands down the best looking car ever and this is right there at the top...metallic blue 67 roadster though mmmm
this car tickles my pickle
lmao
Daughter is gonna end up crashing it I already know it lol.
Fuck you, you sexist shit
Ceazar Carr Calm down boi go join the SJW feminists or something and take the huge rod out your ass lol.
I crashed my first corvette and i'm a guy, i don't think hes being sexist, everyone almost always crashes their first fast car.
There is no way I would let my daughter have this car to drive at 16 !!!!!
god help that car when his daughter gets behind the wheel #carmeetstree
Ethan Gee lol
8 years later this ends up in my recommended. Damn glad it did! That's the sexiest Vette on the planet. Thanx.😊👍✌
i have to agree with you that sound of a big v8 is so sweet and cannot be beaten wow love it.
A 1970 Ford Camaro?!?!?
The new stingray doesn't even look like a stringray imo... The concept design that they had looked more like stringray than the one they are producing. The production model looks more like a wannabe viper front with a camaro back
are you kidding? other than the tail lights, you can see a strong resemblance to the 77+ stingrays
and ps, camaro has half circle tail lights while the stingray has square/diamond tail lights. nothing like the camaro
the curves of a 77 stingray a little bit.
So what if it is different
How much is this car worth including sentimental value to the owner? Its one of the most beautiful cars ever created IMO
sugarsaint 100-200k
Yea at least 150K could be more. Resto mod mid years if done right bring big money now days.
Thanks! Great car still! Ive owned a 63-64-and 65. Now I'm back to the start with my second 63! Midyears are great!
Amazing story and family history 👍🏻✌🏻
anyone know what red that is? paint code would be great, I love it.
@lukas150697 5 years... The world may never know...
that red corvette is soooo sexy
Thank you for specifying that it's a red corvette... I wouldnt have been able to tell what you were talking about if you hadn't.
anybody notice the mary pozzi camaro when they are talking to the owner
Holy smokes!!! That car is unfreakinbelievably gorgeous!!! Yeah..its a real word....now..
What a beauty!! This is one Hell of a car....Best I've seen by a mile!!
Is this the corvette that they based Letty's corvette from Fast 8 with?
Captain31893 yessir!
1970 ford camaro? was that the competition to the chevy mustang or wtf?
chevy Camaro ford mustang idiot
yup
jack black just watch the video at (1:36) and answer yourself!
I thought the same, but I believe its 197four....camaro...easily misunderstood for 1970 for(d) camaro :P
No; The Dodge Vega....🤤
Left brake light is out, typical of that era...
blkcoupequattro I saw that too.
Impressed. I remember the Sting Ray. Rode in several. Wow, in the 60s and early 70s they were dream machines.
The daughter better not wreck it
why is the word 'original' in the title?
maybe it was the first issue
1963 was the first stingray. it's about two years too late to be first....
the only thing original on that car is ..... nothing
probably because most stingray videos now are of the 2014 stingray
Johnny Wrong I'm not mad. Are you mad? I know what original is. Original does not apply in this case
Because now that there is a 2014 Stingray, they are showing the original design
30 years of setup to this car. I bet this thing is dialed. Don't comment on this cars style or setup like you know better, you don't.
tyres are too big perspex on the tail looks wank
+Zac Youngson troll
yehna serious lol
+Zac Youngson do you know what autocross is?
1000% my absolute favorite vette. Zero doubt.
It has been said before but I will say again the flares are PERFECT!
Corvettes were not and are not muscle cars the are sports cars
Very true, people always confuse them for muscle cars when in fact they are not and never have been. They've been a sports car since day one and were created to compete against European sports cars. The muscle car movement was after its inception and that role went to the Camaro, not the Corvette.
Better than sex.
beg to differ.
David Lyon Hell no but that thing is sexy

Definitely one of the best earlier model Vettes I've ever seen!
What an absolutely gorgeous car. That's what a Sting Ray should look like. Very nice indeed.
Got a little chub watching this. Dream ride.
Better than any modern car; my God it's gorgeous.
Awesome history of a family car -- congrats and enjoy that bad boy forever!
