soon it will all be just a distant memory.

The first time you climb in and see those fender wings from the cockpit ... you're a Corvette guy. A real beast here!!! Well done.
I hear you man, I have been trying to find stuff for my 67Plymouth belvedere for the last couple years. Not easy parts to come by. Beautiful vet and I'm glad younger guys like you are keeping the hobby alive.
You started collecting cars at 13 lol lol its okay to be a rich kid , own it . The car is beautifully done , great job !!
Yeh im 30 and have a pretty high paying job. Dreamed of owning cars my entire life but cant ever seem to have enough extra to do something like this 😫
He said him and his dad, which means his dad was buying the cars. Don’t be a hater
When i was 13 i didn't has a hotwheels collection, imagine real cars 😂

I’ve never been a vette guy. I love the early split windows tho but this body style never did anything for me until I clicked on this vid! Well done man ! !
I absolutely agree with everything you say. I just happen to love the 1980 corvette of my graduation year, that last year that no computer chip is involved. Completely manual. I'm not a flare or autocross guy but man is this car perfect for all of that. This car looks sick and is build for any road!
This is nicely done. It’s aggressive but not too overwhelming at the same time. I really like this vette.
Hey Ben, I was a young guy when these hit. . . I too wasn't a fan, thought GM messed up with the design chg. Liked 1st. & 2nd. Gen. a lot though. Your Rambo changed my mind on the 70's Vette. BTW the 70's also great ! Rambo shows up . . .it's like Flight 93 , "Lets Roll"
This is the type of car I wish I could have seen a lot more footage of it driving... and being driven hard. Awesome car.
What a dream car.
C2 is a classic but the C3 especially the early ones look the best when modified, race modified and in classic form. Hands down.

You made me want to buy it. I am a simple guy so I am going to get one before this year gone. Thanks Four Speed Films!
incredibly beautiful attention to retaining the original shape of the car. The color just hits right. Instant sub
I built a psycho C4 slick body no flares but big rubber, big NA power, and lotsa suspension/brakes. I get the same feeling outta that car - loud, gnarly, smells like gas. Good video.
Most early Vette flares look cheesy but these are styled well. Beautiful build.
LOL!! at 4:10 the orange random first gen K5 Blazer passes by!
I’ve been wanting to do a restomod C3 myself and have seen this guy around the web and wanted to know more. So cool to see a good quality video of this build

I got a love for classic trucks from my dad, today I drive a 75 k25 that belonged to my uncle. I got it from him just before he passed and my dad and I told him we'd have it on the road again after it sat for 25 years on his ranch. And now I'm pursuing a career as a mechanic.
Love huge modded C3’s! Great job!

I’m not a corvette fan but this is beautiful without a doubt my favorite custom Vette I’ve seen. Very nice
Quality video on a quality car can’t ask for much more!
C3 and C6 are my favorite gen Corvettes and man this thing is awesome. Also these films are awesome. I know I’m late on this one but keep the car stories coming!!
His car looks fun! I love Corvettes, and the 68-72’s are a blast to drive. I love my 72!
Beautiful car!
I love how every video feels like I'm watching a motor-trend doc
Beautiful car. Amazing!
Hell of a build man, love it all the way around and Rambo sounds about right. The only thing I would do differently is throw a 454 Big Block Chevy in it rather than LS. Great video guys!
It's probably an aluminum block LS. Perfect for autocross
@@phoenixeragon6404 You do have a point, I'm looking at it more like a hotrod
@Frank White Apparently you're not familiar with big block Chevy engines. A big block Rat motor can reach 1000+ on pump gas with the right parts, A LS would never do that.
05gtdriver yup, in fact we have a 454 Chevelle pro street build on our channel that makes 1,000hp on motor.
@@HotAmericanCars Yes indeed sir, my 1st experience with comparing the virtues of a SBC to a BBC was in mechanic school in the mid 80s. Two other students had '69 Camaros(when they were just used old cars), one was a 383 stroker, the other a modded 427 transplant. Both were fast, but if the 383 stroker was like riding on a crazed bull, the BBC was a charging rhinoceros! The pit of your stomach just hits your spinal cord, I revere any large block big inch V-8!
Looks great!! My favorite C3's are the 1981 and 1982 body designs

What was the cost to build
guaooo que bellezza de automivil...CORVETTE...saludios desde COSTA RICA.
Looks fcking sick, you really struck the best possible Green for it
I flared and lowered my 71 Roadster back in the 1970's and still own it along with my 91 ZR1... Excellent work, well done!
This guy must've taken a lot of inspiration from the 76' Greenwood Vettes.
very close match in silhouette
This is one of the nicest C3 restomods I've ever seen.
Please Ben do a video with that super bee(that from the intro)
Second on that! The Super Bee looks very interesting. Great video BTW, "Rambo" is a real dream!
I have a green C4 that I plated "The Hulk" Yours is a bad ass C3. One of the nicest I have ever seen or heard . Congrats!!!

*it's weird how I get an offended feeling when I hear someone say they don't like Corvettes. Especially the C3. Jay Leno uttered the same sentiment regarding the C3.*
I'm actually a little Annoyed that a guy who isn't naturally a "Corvette Guy" has such a viciously delicious VeTTe..👁👁
It kinda sounds like he's a Corvette guy now, kicking and screaming.
68-73 are fantastic C3 vettes. 74-77 still a great look. 76 is the last one with the Stingray name. 78-82 have the boring hatch window but still a decent car. C3 went from 68-82
I think I want to drive my 1980 C3 today. Thank you for the inspiration... Thank you for showcasing one of the nicest C3 Corvettes I have ever seen.
Absolutely Sweet Job !!! The sound outta these LS motors is Ridiculous, pure Gold.
I would remove the decals off awesome paint job, and remove that spoiler, your hiding the lines of this awesome corvette!
He painted the chrome front bumper... I nearly cried when I saw that.. and that wing 🤦🏻♂️. But to each is their own you know. I could never do that to mine tho. 68-72 C3’s are some of the best older vettes imo
@@beezy7412 that's making no down force, it's just an air break. If you even thought an American car has too good of a fuel consumption, put one of those on!
Great looking car and great build! Electric may be here but gas, petrol, diesel will always be King!
Now this is how a real widbody should be done, panels actually molded into the shell of the car, none of this plastic crap crudely bolted unto a cut up body panel. It's beautiful, this is one of the best looking custom C3s I have ever seen, the wheels and flares match it so well, since it's built around them. This is built done right, cool guy and a cool car.
Great to see someone enjoying their creating. Well done. Life's for living.

Don't let nobody tell you different man
It's badass dude

I’ve got to say that there are very few cars that sound as sexy as a Corvette stomping on the gas!
That car is so cool.
What a nice car, and what a modest guy. Awesome.

This car is ridiculous, I love it so much🔥
And that kickass chevy blazer drives by at 4:10 little hidden gem
I think it is so good because it was built by professionals. I can not believe what I am seeing. Of the scale looks for a dramatically modified car.
That is gorgeous. period. C2 and C3 were the best looking by far imo. And I'm an Aston Martin fan.
Stunning. The flares, the green with black trim is epic.
Nice LT1, I myself own a 1972 LT1 Corvette matching #'s. Of course 4 speed manual, roll up windows. I 💙 to take out my back window & just listen to my 2 1/2" exhaust as I'm shifting gears, the rumble of real dual exhaust is just amazing sound. Good Luck with your green updated LT1 Corvette.☺🇺🇸

whether its original or modified the Corvette will always standout, my number one go too.
