The cinematography in these videos is unrivaled, that final hot lap felt like it was straight from a movie and I noticed myself on the edge of my seat. Great video guys, and great driving Ben!
Run a drain line back to the oil sump, make sure you run it back below the oil level. If you street drive it, put a ball valve in the drain line to close it off and only run the drain back while on track where the oil gets hot enough to boil off the condensation.
Yep this is what I did on my S2000 when it was running the F20C. Went through a catch can, but the drain went directly back into the oil pan. It worked a treat.
I'm addicted to watching these cars evolve. I know so much effort goes into these machines and when you can watch them evolve over the years, it's beautiful.

On my old evo we had the catch can as a vent only. We ran the can to catch a bit of oil but it just drained into the sump. Never had oil issues in the engine bay again
@@jjwa5410 yeah, that will always be a problem though if you recirculate or not. Better to keep oil in the engine then all over the engine bay and potentially the track.
Recirculating to the turbo oil return is a bad idea. Turbos are very sensitive to the pressure in the oil return line and you can end up with bad oil leaks particularly if you race in a series that uses restrictor plates to regulate power. You want to drain your catch can somewhere where crankcase windage won't fight it as well as the dynamic pressure in your crankcase can be high in some areas. Also as others have mentioned the key is to separate the oil from the condensated water or fuel before recirculating so your oil viscosity and thermal capacity isn't negatively impacted.
