  • The Canadian psychologist Jordan B Peterson says there is a "backlash" against masculinity and "a sense there is something toxic about masculinity".
He told Hardtalk's Stephen Sackur: "There are biological differences between men and women that express themselves in temperament and in occupational choice and that any attempt to enforce equality of outcomes is unwarranted and ill advised as a consequence."
Mr Peterson is a professor of psychology at the University of Toronto and author of 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote for Chaos.

With dishonest false comments like “There wouldn't be any art & poetry without religion.”, and “Atheists who don't rape/kill are religious without knowing it.”, as well as refusing to admit (when asked by Sam Harris) that the OT has some horrible verses, JP is intentionally being intellectually dishonest in order to maintain his influx of donations from the gullible religious fools. JP admits to Joe Rogan that he's found a way to monetize the SJW ( ua-cam.com/video/o4KESFAITqg/v-deo.html ). JP knows religion is bs but promotes it anyway to monetize the religious fools.

Showcase is designed to challenge the person being interviewed no matter who the person is. If he was left wing they would attack him from the right, if he was right they'd attack him from the left. It's very common in the UK and people in other countries find it fairly hard to understand. The BBC doesn't have a bias, it's legally forbidden. The majority of people criticising the BBC say it actually veers more to the right than anything. This being said, k still don't like the interviewers technique on the question, it's lazy and entrapping and there are tons of other journalists like Andrew Neil that are on the right but still would've given better forumulated questions

I'm assuming you're not from the UK given you have no idea what you're talking about so I'll make it simple for you. Overall (as an entire company) the BBC is legally banned from having a bias, it physically isn't allowed to cus it's state funded and as soon as state funded media is influenced by the political stance of the current party it's not longer serving the people. You're not allowed to advertise on the BBC hence why they don't NEED a bias because they don't need a target market because it's NON PROFIT. This show is a show which argues the opposite point of the interviewee, it's a model used all the time in the BBC to criticize while not having a direct bias. You get it now? The consequences of the BBC having a bias in the UK would be catastrophic. It would destroy the entire platform and given that it's existed for about 70 years it's safe to say they haven't had any instances of that sort. But, he may just be asking general questions, but it sounds as if he has already decided how he feels and how Jordan Petersen feels about these issues. Why can't both men be right and wrong about equality of the sexes? I am concerned that everyone keeps bringing up gender break downs when it comes to employment participation when explaining why women and men can't be treated equally. So, what if women dominate areas of healthcare, service related industries and education, while men dominate areas of construction and most trades. Why does where women work matter when it comes to treating women decently? From Peterson, I get the sense that he's not saying it's good or bad. It's just different. I don't see what the big deal is. Men and women are different, generally speaking. But, that doesn't give men the right to treat women like second class citizens, either treating us as if we are property meant to be conquered (and I mean in a general sense, not a literal sense) Or we are expected to be superwomen and supermoms. Men can't seem to decide if we are helpless or we are omni present modern day Mata Haris and Amazonians. Forgive me for stepping up onto my soap box.

And somehow profoundly missed by every major newscaster in Brittain today, but then we did vote For Brexit, not to get political, but then that's kindof hard when people can't even be arsed taking the six seconds it takes to compreend the difference in words between Opportunity & Outcome.
What isn't obvious about outcome, opportuinty is being able to take the same things regardless, entirely equally.
Outcome is being Forced into the most extreme precise perfect split, & so forcibly exluding people then, IRONICALLY, based literally on their gender.
I just don't get how we got so stupid, even thoughy I remember primary school wondering how people were so switched off & just completely complicit with the most obviously dumb things some people said, 1996, anti climate change missinformation.
Some old biddy just taking a paycheck to say, "Climtae change, what a load of twaddle"
In the most hillarious accent as well in retrospect.
Never even heard a word about that in my last 3 years of primary school.
Everyone seemed so dullard dumb too me, unaware & unconscious.
Anyway here we are 25+ years on & people don't even know 1 word from another.....
Totally didn't see this coming when I was 7 years old & was scared of it then & am now simply living through it, Oh, & Russia again......
      Yaaaaaaay
I was born just before the Soviet Union collapsed so have vivid memories of growing up with the mentality of a nuclear strike by them & just how long we'd have after confirming a launch had happened from conversations my parents had, some I just listened through the walls at cause they didn't want me hearing, but I did.
So yeah, yaaaay 33 & Brittain is utterly collapsing & all our newscasters have the IQ of me at maybe 4 years old, yaaaaay

Compassion and understanding do not rule out justice. If we cannot hold that possibility in our minds, then we are doomed to an endless cycle of people claiming they are victims in order to justify victimising others. [Brad Hirschfield - You don't have to be wrong for me to be right]

Why are so many people horrified that Peterson is helping people? All these hit pieces about him just prove his damn point regarding demonising masculinity.
Peterson has a mostly male audience: OUTRAGEOUS!
Peterson deals in facts: HANG HIM!
Peterson wants to help both men and women: MISOGYNIST!

Matthew Lopez Peterson regurgitates Jung and Campbell via his own lens of Christian conservatism while attempting to obfuscate by quibbling over the definition of terms.
He really doesn't offer anything g new, nor is he particularly good at what he does do. If you like him, fine, but I strongly get suggest you do try looking at what others say, or even the various sources where Peterson takes his inspiration. And make up your own mind.

"I believe in equality of oppertunity not equality of outcomes" That's such a beautiful and meaningful word. Everyone can have the oppertunity to contribute to something but not everyone will get same reward from it. It will completely depend on how much you contribute to the cause but feminism always wants to deny that and wants the same end result and same reward regardless of the contribution. That's why he said it harmful to society.

@@mikekane2492 That's how I feel (and I usually don't comment from my channel but I thought it was important to show you that there are others like you out there) and it's why I moved from left to more of a centrist perception. I have a disablity and other issues that does make a lot of people on the right usually not those whom I agree with (because they vote against things I need to help me medically etc) but the far left is also so out of hand that I saw debates on social media during BLM where a black man was claiming his experience as a black man was worse than a woman who had cerebal palsy. And it's just this ridiculous "who has the most victim cards" game that I have no interest in playing. It doesn't construct anything useful.
