Your the first to reassure us that por and para is not just for beginners as they do in my Spanish clases in Spain. I thought I was a idiot for not understanding it. Keep these videos up
Very helpful and informative. I would say that the uses of por vs para in this video make more natural sense as an English speaker than the uses from the previous video. Both of them were very helpful to bring some understanding and clarity.
I've enjoyed your videos and learning a lot. I did find this video easier to understand the uses of por vs para compared to the first video. Thank you!
Muy buen video, muchisimas gracias!!! Can anyone tell me the name of the short video where the wife receives a TV instead of a vacation as a gift from her husband?? Gracias!
I’ve been saying “en la mañana”, is that correct? I’ve always been told “por la mañana” & “de la mañana” varied depending on the country. Makes sense that “por” is the general time period & “de” is the exact time period (as noted in your other video). Can “en” be interchangeable within that structure, or is it too “direct translation from English”?
Me encanta este video yo aprendo muy muy bien contigo en tres semanas yo aprendo mas contigo than with any other maestro, muchos gracias, y vamos... voy para alla a hablo espanol con mi amor en sanitiago 🙏👏👏👏PD hola desde Tasmania
Nice to see you've uploaded another video mate, I think I watched most of them a while ago and was gutted there wasn't more! Hope you're keeping well 👍
Por = through, right? I also love VIA, not a destination but through, near, around. Even though Spanish does have the word vía? Both videos so very very useful.
Hi Andrew. Loved the video..another path through this Spanish minefield! I just want to raise a point for clarification about para and por. You use " para mi" for "in my opinion" wherea I use "por mi parte". Are these phrases interchangeable or have I been misusing this phrase?
The first one was easier because I am a beginner but I needed to hear more examples and am trying to understand how to use por and para in the correct manner
Saludos. Hi, Naturgy is the name of a Spanish multinational company that develops activities of supply, generation, distribution and marketing of electricity and natural gas. @@max_pin Oh, don't mention it, man!👍 Yup, I did't realize that! lol I searched the Internet and I guess (because of the actress who stars in it) it's one of the short films from a kind of film cycle or award called "Cinergía" sponsored by Naturgy ...
It seems like por is much more common, is this the case? Maybe if I am in doubt, I will go with por lol. Or focus on the rules for para only and if it isn't covered by them, I'll assume it's por?
Interesting lesson. It reminds me of the French "PAR and POUR" which are a bit similar to "POR and PARA". But there is no rule to translate from French to Spanish. PAR is often POR but sometimes PARA. POUR is often PARA, but sometimes POR. Each language has its own weird things.
I was led to believe that for before an infinitive is always para..como para llevar, para entregar..and that por is always used if it precedes a number--por dos años, etc.....I realize these are only two cases..but I find them useful (If I am correct in this). I live in Mexico and I find por and para very difficult to use correctly..when I am listening to someone I can understand them...
How did you find the uses of por vs para compared to my last video on por vs para?
Your the first to reassure us that por and para is not just for beginners as they do in my Spanish clases in Spain. I thought I was a idiot for not understanding it. Keep these videos up
These two videos are the clearest explanations I have ever hear on this topic. Gracias mucho 😊
I really love the examples you use and how they are real sentences people have said and that you include that clip
I love that you speak so clearly. I know it's not "normal" speech, but it's good to hear how it should be!
It's very useful for people who can understand English but at the same time, it is not their first language.

Thank you for both videos!
Good video as always!!!
Ever video works so well. This ties all the other two videos. Great job. Fantastic

Gracias! Me gusta que tu es Australiano también
gave me a little more confidence in understanding the sometimes subtle uses of pop and para
The first one was easier because I am a beginner but I needed to hear more examples and am trying to understand how to use por and para in the correct manner
Gracias por el video. ¿Qué es "Naturgy"? Se ve interesante pero no puedo encontrarlo.

The music is unnecessary and distracting but the content is good
En Chile "en camino" significa "on my way" por lo menos en WhatsApp
In chile and in most of the spanish speaking world...
watching before finals wish me luck
Encontré el último clase más difícil que estos.
One thing missing : ¿Por aqui o para llevar? - I dont know why but I just know that is
how you ask.
These uses were easier
Por nada. 😉
