a mexican UA-cam car reviewer review the range to be 1400 km when he drove it with full charge and tank to no longer being able to drive. insane range and value
Here in Iloilo, you'd most likely spot a Sealion 6 wherever you go and that's even before BYD has finished building their first dealership here. Goes to show how enticing their products are even amongst other Chinese automakers.
True. But for the typical Grab operator/driver, magkano dagdag nun sa monthly payments nila dahil 940K yung unit vs. sa usual 700K units pang Grab o taxi. Hopefully may flexible payment options sila or subsidies.
With that price for a hybrid and range, having less gasoline consumption, hence cheaper operations cost for gasoline for ride-hailing services/apps or even taxis, this base model will be very attractive
That is the best relevant question for all Chinese brand in the Philippines, just make a good after sales, then those Chinese brands will prosper just like what hyundai/kia were.

leave out the gas engine and build a charging infrastructure in phil. hybrids are complicated maintenance. the least reliable ,battery, and engine.. just make it gas or electric. not both. the country that ranks 147th in km of roads per person should be easy to put plenty of charging stations along those few roads.

Yup. Bigger and better range. 🎉

Why is the power and torque figures different between the two variants?

That is exactly the reason why there are variants: difference in specs.
