Test driven the 2WD version... absolutly excellent.. Both the 2WD and AWD available where i live in New Zealand. The only difference (so i was told) was 4 wheell drive and you can see the safety features in the windscreen. Also a bit quicker 0-100 time . Big difference in price $57999 -$64999 NZD for 2 seconds and all wheel drive.

Seeing the BYD Sealion 6 for what it offers for the price, it is kinda hard to justify paying for 2.3-2.6 million offerings of the legacy brands. The only pros for the legacy brands are intangibles like their proven reliability and geopolitics
There's already a review that this can easily achieve 1000km without even hypermiling the car. They were able to achieve 1600km in one full tank of gas. Wow.
You really get the best of both worlds which is no range anxiety due to the ICE motor and a whole lot of km/l because of the PHEV system and a happy bank account because you just need to have it serviced like once a year. The only thing you're paying most of the time is the monthly payment if you're gonna pay it in installment through in house or banks
This is a really nice looking car that I would happily own , my guess is the pricing is an introductory price (maybe limited numbers in PH) and will increase. If I was looking for new car, I would get this in a heartbeat.

We contacted BYD Philippines head office regarding this. The reply from the brand head is that customers will get the 2.3kW portable charger, the 7kW wall charger and the Vehicle-To-Load adapter.
Yan kung araw araw ka naglolong drive pero kung city driving ka lang baka once a year ka lang siguro magpagas. Baka ikaw na lang maghanap ng rason mag long drive para maconsume yung fuel nya.
How many liters is a full tank anyway? 50 liters? There is big savings in short trips less than 100 kms coz u can plug it in to charge. However on long drives, u need to fill up 60 liters or less, still u will pay gas at higher price per liter than diesel. You will just have an extra 300 kilometers to spare comparing it to a regular diesel SUV.
The car has multiple drive modes. For full EV mode you can get 100km on a full charge using only the battery. For hybrid mode with both a full charge and full tank of gas you get a 1000km+ range.
@@SalManila1 on ev mode you can travel up to 100km without using gas, if you’re travelling less than the range you wont consume any gas. just charge when you’re at home and would only cost you 100-150php to full charge the battery or if you’re in a mall then its free.
I have noticed from all these car vloggers of full and hev, NOT EVEN ONE mentioned about the cost to replace batteries when the time comes, forget all the warranties offered.

how come the ODO changed from 29KM to 31KM while you were talking and on stationary? see 8:08 is 29KM then 8:54 is 31KM suddenly?
