    “How do two brothers get into the nail care business?” This is the single most common question people ask us. There’s a long and rocky version but we’ll give you the short one. We have our fearless and unconventional mother, Young Salo, to thank. With a single-minded entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to start her own business at the age of 49. She had a passion for the nail industry and we did everything in our power to support her. In the end, this is a family business.
    Greg, the older brother, became a licensed nail technician after switching gears from fire fighter’s training. He is energy personified and has a true passion for developing the best professional nail care products and education. Habib is the younger brother. He jumped in a few years later; taking a detour from medical school and a life in music. He brings his own creative mind for business, marketing and strategy. Unexpectedly, we are a perfect team.
    Today, more than 20 years later, Young Nails Inc., is a professional nail care manufacturing company exporting to over 40 countries worldwide and distributing domestically to over 3000 stores. We’re respected for our next-level product innovation and education. Our mission is to bring you the best quality products and we’ll show you how to use them with incredible results. It’s really that simple.
    Welcome to the Young Nails family!

    I definitely want to try this. I am trying to grow out my nails and I work in Health Care and I’m always washing my hands and gloves make my hands sweat so bad . I’m wondering if this would be better than acrylic, because seems the acrylic doesn’t last and breaks down so much? Greg you are a wonderful teacher and I appreciate you , your brother , Tracy , all the YN family for your education and can’t wait to try the products . Also I do my own nails at home , I know you guys have a drill I can purchase but can you recommend something a little less expensive where I’m starting out and then I can go get one of y’all’s once I get better at nails ? Thank you all🥰

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Рік тому +1

      The Fiber Gel may be a great product for you, especially since you wear gloves and wash your hands a lot. The Fiber Gel is nice and flexible, so it will move better with your natural nails as an overlay. As for the efile, we understand that it is an investment! We do have sales throughout the year so when you are able, that would be the time to purchase and save a little money!

    Can you use gel polish center to thin this product out if you need to

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  3 місяці тому

      Fiber Gel has a thicker viscosity due to the micro fibers within the gel. Thinning it out can spread the fibers thinner and it may not have the same durability as it is designed to have. However, if you prefer, you can add a small amount of ManiQ Base or ManiQ in the pot if needed.

    Hello. Is YN Fiber Gel the same as a BIAB soak off gel product? Also do you guy sell it in a tub/pot?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Рік тому

      Builder in a bottle is kind of an overall term for thicker gels that you can use to build structure over a natural nail. The Fiber Gel can be considered a builder in a bottle, but the difference is that Fiber Gel has micro fibers within the product that form a woven structure to give the nail more structure, support and flexibility.

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  6 місяців тому

      You do not need a base before applying fiber gel. If you are wanting to apply gel color on top you can do it straight after curing the fiber gel.

  • @Lelanosstates

    I really like this product, I’m using since it was launched and my clients are loving it but I noticed air pockets over a very dry spot on almost all the nails on most of them! How can I prevent that?
    Is it normal after about 2 weeks or am I doing something wrong?
    I’m trying to be careful with the prep, properly texturizing the nail plate and avoiding over saturating with protein bond but nothing is working! 😞

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  8 місяців тому

      Pocket lifting may be a result form not building enough thickness through the stress area, especially if the client has longer nails. The other possibility could be from how you are prepping. Are you using Swipe to cleanse the nails or a different cleanser or straight alcohol? If you are using a different cleanser/alcohol, this could be over-drying the nail or still leaving a slight residue that can interfere with adhesion. Swipe has the proper balance to cleanse the oils/contaminants from the nail and bring it to the proper pH level without over-drying or leaving a residue.

    • @Lelanosstates
      @Lelanosstates 8 місяців тому

      Yes I’m using Swipe, I don’t mix brands exactly to prevent chemical reactions. 😊
      Thank you so much for your time, I’ll definitely try a little thicker layer!

    About how long should you go before replacing the filter on your dust extractor?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Рік тому +2

      Depends on usage, I would say typically 6 months.
      The filters can be washed and let dry overnight. You can also use a vacuum at the end of the day to clean out all the fine dust particles and that helps get a longer life out of them.

    Stain resistant top coat is only good for?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  3 місяці тому

      Stain resistant is a hard gel top coat. Our nails are flexible and this will cause the top coat to crack if used on top of the natural nails. It is for use on top of enhancements such as acrylic, hard gel, slickpour, full cover tips, etc.
      Think of stain resistant on natural nails like this:
      “You used a hard gel topcoat on a soft gel polish. It's like the chocolate shell on an ice cream cone.”

    I used the fiber gel to do an overlay on short nails and then I buffed the nails and then cleansed and when I went to put the color there was a few fibers sticking out from a few of the nails. Did anyone else have this issue? I don’t know if I did something wrong.

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  3 місяці тому

      Make sure you aren't brushing it on with a lot of pressure. If you use less pressure and more of a "floating" motion, this will allow the fibers to stay suspended within the gel. If you brush too firmly, you may get more texture and the fibers won't be sealed.

      @krisv7329 Рік тому

      This is my question as well. How do you keep this from staining?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Рік тому

      We have had success using stain resistant over fiber gel but you just don't want to apply the fiber gel too thin like gel polish or the top coat will crack. If you apply the fiber gel more similar to an overlay then you should be okay.

    hola ,Por que esas bases se ponen tan espesa ,acabo de dar el.mani base keratina blanco y casi no rodaba la brocha todo hiba hacia el borde libre ,será por exceso de frío, la habitación estaba bien fría, ¿tiene q ver la temperatura con esas bases de keratina? porque si la e probado con mis clientas y todas las bases de keratina de ustedes son buenísimas, si las recomiendo, solo me sucedió eso

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  5 місяців тому

      Los productos Fiber Gel son naturalmente más espesos que un esmalte en gel tradicional debido a las microfibras dentro del gel. Si su área de trabajo tiene una temperatura inferior a 70 grados, el producto puede espesarse. Es importante mantener el producto a una temperatura constante para obtener resultados consistentes.

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  Рік тому

      It's a hard gel top coat so it's for on top of enhancements only. If used on gel polish on the natural nails the top coat will crack. Although if fiber gel is applied thick enough we have had success using stain resistant on that.
