You not only addressed all options at every step (like manual file vs e-files), and what to do and not to do AND why 👍🏽 but you also gave us a great shaping technique (that sketching tip 😁 was everything!) and how to troubleshoot a crooked finger? WHAAAAT????🙌🏽
🤔 The only question I have is why nail techs wait until they finish prepping the nail before sizing the acrylics instead of sizing them BEFORE prepping-which seems quicker. Is that just a preference or is there a reason? Inquiring minds want to know!

I personally size the nail tips before I start with any prepping because sizing can sometimes be a chore, especially when you start running out of nail tip sizes lol
I think it might be a personal preference because it doesn't take away from prepping. But like you said, it does make sense to do it before you start with your prepping.

How come no one talks about what happens if on 1 hand the tip is a different size for the same finger for example if my middle finger is a 3on my right but a 4on my left, how to I make the nail look slimmer

Question! I have very small nail beds. What is the best way to creat a nail when a nail tip is too big? I know filing the sidewalls can be not-so-great. Would you just use one of those wrap around tips (idk what they're called, you tape them to your fingertip and build acrylic on top of it). Or is there a better way? I'm doing these on myself. Great video btw!!!

Hi! I ordered a primer from another site and it said non acid, but on the botthe it says dehydrator, what do i do?
I have psoriatic arthritis and it causes my nails to tear, peel and rip. A lot of very painful bleeding. I am desperate to learn how to do acrylic nails. I cant afford to have them done. I have a 40k plus following and would be happy to share if I can get a kit!

Hi babe,
If you notice at the beginning of the video, I made sure my client's hands were fully washed AND I also wiped the nail with a lint-free wipe and alcohol. This will help dehydrate the nail plate enough for the primer to work. If you do have clients who have extra oily nail plates or tend to have more lifting, you want to use a dehydrator and I'd recommend using the Kiara Sky Bond.

Does the primer have to cure? I let mine air dry, and it was super sticky.
Hi there! 💗 Our Acrylic Primer does not need to be cured. It is specially formulated to leave a sticky finish. It is different from other primers as it is acid-free and contains Vitamin E! The shiny finish is exactly what you want because it ensures that your nails will stay on for up to 4 weeks. Hope this helps! 💖

I'm curious, are you implying that companies with a non-acid primer still have a little bit of acid in them? I have gelish's non-acid primer and it makes my nails look dehydrated so I'm not sure what's different here that makes the nails shiny with your primer?
@jayelart - At 18:08, you’ll hear her say that we may be thrown off by the appearance of Kiara Sky’s primer because we may be USED TO primer with acid in it. She was merely highlighting the difference between primers with and without acid and at no point during this video did she imply or even mention anything about other companies that make NON-acid primers still having a little bit of acid in them. She even went on to say that the Kiara Sky’s acrylic primer is non-acid - which is why it either helps to minimize or eliminate burning in a way that acid primers with acid might not.
