- Rodtang is a walking stick of dynamite, and punching him in the face only seems to make him stronger. This indestructible Iron Man has had over 300 fights. For them, it was the worst day of their lives. For him, it was Tuesday. Let’s take a look at how this Muay Thai deity uses high IQ tactics and techniques to dominate the competition.

Rodtang vs Superlek, who wins it?
SKill Books: www.modernmartialartist.com/technique-books-by-tmma-david-christian/
Superlek is gonna win. Look at his last fights.
strond and fast twitch muscles and vibers and he has good vision to see those incomming attacks
@@janlettie7651 so rodtang has never won a fight lol
Rodtang is a reptilian, look at his neck.
Rodtang, ha ve you erver seen him bleed or sweat ?
Never, not once.
Rodtang souldn't be allowed to batlle against an human.
All of them..
It is over, debts for each fight.
แน่นอนรถถังต้องชนะ100%💪💪💪
I love how Rodtang will mock, stalk and mercilessly obliterate his foes in the ring/cage, and then deeply bow and wipe the blood off his opponent's face in the aftermath.
He mocks stocks and focks up his opposition 🥊
That's because it's a tactic and not just ego.
Bro knows how to enjoy a fight. You're gunna get hit, and guess what? That's part of the fun 😉
@@Romuluz369 For him and the fans maybe. Probably not his opponents.
@@Tenchigumi only if his opponents don't know how to relax with the violence 😎
Imagine hitting someone as hard as you can and not only does he not budge, but he furiously DEMANDS that you hit him harder. Rodtang is a different breed of animal, to be sure.
"Hurt me more, Snake!"

Trust me he is not god, problem with his opponents is that intimated them just keep throwing keep going to war he is human

Everyone talks about Rodtang's striking, ability to absorb punches, and his style. Great job pointing out his ring IQ, to me, it's his most important aspect and goes severely unnoticed by many. Best representative of the Muay Mat style, can't wait to see him face Superlek's more technical style.
I have to watch it at half-speed. Rodtang is reading his opponents like a book. The opponent adjusts their footwork and Rodtang already has the block+counter coming out
This guy is a monster, and the fact Might Mouse beat him is so damn impressive. Yes it was a mix MMA and Muay Thai but MM still had to survive a whole ass round of Muay Thai with Rodtang, pretty sure most MMA fighters woudlve been destroyed in that round alone 😂
Come on man, dj want trying to strike with rodtang. He was just trying to survive to get to the 2nd round. I'd be more impressed of he actually tried to duke it out with roddy
@@connorhighland6783Rodtang is way better at striking than Dj 😂 why wouldn't Dj wrestle?
@jellypunk1495dude this comment!!!!!! He was!!!!!! Dj was launching those hooks off the backfoot looking like wtf is shit lol

What a legend, Rodtang is not only a great kickboxer, he is a complete martial artist and a person with main character energy.
Well, maybe not a complete martial artist, he isn't that great at grappling
@@Last_Chance. semantics, I mean complete as he is pure mentality, personality, training, preparation, etc, let's say he is a kickboxer that surpases kickboxing alone, he is also an icon.

Rodtangs mocking tactics are genius! him not chasing after the opponent forces the ref to make them reset, looks good to the judges, the crowds, and most important it gives him s break and reset. It’s genius against hurt opponents or opponents who are looking to fight him at long out side range. The guy is a master of his craft reminds me of joe Luis with perfect mechanics
Rodtang is probably my favorite fighter as he always push forward, respects his opponent. That's my own style too.
What a martial artist he is. Like you said he paints the canvas before everyone else.
Thanks to you I was able to grasp some subtlety in his fighting.
👏
Rodtang possesses incredible Muay Thai abilities, displaying lightning-fast strikes, impeccable technique, and an unwavering fighting spirit that captivate audiences and establish him as a true legend in the world of the sport.
Brutally aggressive whilst he fights, but deeply respectful afterwards. Love it.
Love your videos dude, you inspired me to find a boxing gym and start training a year and a half ago. Thank you for the quality man
Thanks for this breakdown. Been just in awe of him since ONE, but it has been so difficult to figure out why he is so damn good. 👌
I really appreciate the writing in these videos. It's awesome
Such a good breakdown, you never let down - please do Superlek and Tawanchai next
I don't usually find fights on tv interesting because there are restrictions and it seems everyone is holding their back,
Rodtang is one of the few that caught my eye because I can see his aggressiveness, he is really fighting for a purpose in his mind, he will not back down. you can sense it in all his body movements
I hope muy Thai becomes more popular like mma and boxing. It is such a cool sport and a guy like rodtang certainly deserves to be a house hold name. OneFC has done a great job of giving muy Thai a bigger platform to grow the sport's popularity
Don't you worry Muay Thai gyms here in Southeast Asia are already the next McDojo
Really love your videos homie, they are amazing breakdowns. Thanks for all the info :D
What a beast this guy is, his attacks are so accurate.
Can wait to see him come the 22nd Sept 🥊💯.
Please do Holyfield's game plan in his fight(s) with Tyson. There are just too many sheep fans that actually think The Real Deal spent the entire fight holding and headbutting his way to victory.
Yes! Thank you. I agree. Holyfield whooped mikes ass, twice!
😂😂😂😂😂
Well he certainly used his head to full effect. There were so many butts in that fight I lost track after a while.
But was Holy damn well-rounded and tough all his own too? Yup.
Holyfield performed incredibly in those fights, but the headbutts and holding definitely helped. Especially in the psychological game. But that's part of it. It doesn't discount the magnitude of his achievements or ability. Also getting away with fighting dirty like he did took some otherworldly situational awareness. So many unnoticed headbutts lol. Impressive in its own right, tbh.
Jesus was so boring clinch after clinch and Tyson doesn’t rlly work in the clinch much
Great video. Very informative.
Thanks for sharing and I think I will be investigating more of your content.
Please do a Chingiz Allazov breakdown next. He might be one of the most exciting styles to watch in all of combat sports
Him or anyone else from the One 70 kilo roster would be awesome
Dude I watched a video on chingiz for the first time and omg. That guy is awesome
As a Thai
This guy is a real deal.
His fight with DJ in MMA
Rodtang didn't tap when he got choked.
This fight alone made him the no1 Thai fighter at this moment.

Glad to you are making videos about muay thai athletes. Could you do more?
Love seeing fighters who genuinely care about their opponents cool to see that kind of respect
Lovely breakdown 👏🏾👏🏾
damn the thumbnail is amazing, good job !
Rod Tang should be on an Energizer commercial judging by how he just keeps going forward no matter what
Yess, he's so much more than just a tank people see on social media. His fight IQ, experience, techniques, everything is high high level stuff
I love you. Thank you. You and Jack Slack basically taught me how to fight-and fight well, too.
Another great 👍 breakdown
Awesome video mate
Amazing analysis, thank you rod this video m
Rodtang has excellent countering ability. Hard hard punches to ur body and face. Powerful elbow. Great reaction and timing
great breakdown, as always
Rodtang is just different...

Excellent video, thanks! Rodtang is amazing!
Another great warrior. I like seeing athletes that exel highly above the comp.

My favourite yet. How could you not love Rodtang and his style
Ultimate Warrior
Is there any kind of pic or even wallpaper of him round house fire kicking? Like the thumbnail? Looks so dope
3:48 so glad you blurred out the blood on his face. We don’t need that kind of stuff in mma
All the stupid things you have to do to please the algorithm is ruining youtube
Rodtang brings a Mike Tyson, peekaboo pressure fighting style to Muay Thai. His defense is his offense. He is always moving forward and in his opponent's face. He sets the tempo of the fight - and he sets it extremely high for even pro level fighters - forcing his opponents to get gassed, retreat, or abandon game plans. He slips with every punch he throws, and he takes very few punches to the head - which is why it seems like he can take many punches. The truth is, a person can only take so many shots, and the ones he does take are usually not too hard because of his slips. Moreover, he anticipates every single one of his opponents attacks, choosing to strike at the first sign that they've committed to attacking and hitting them before they can hit him. He's not a fighter that fights retreating or backing up, and I don't think anyone has ever made him back up. He uses his double or triple defense strategy as a way to observe and collect data about his opponents, dialing in their reach, techniques, and openings. And once he sets his targets, the constant pressure begins. He takes going first, moving forward, and stalking an opponent to a whole new level not really seen in Muay Thai. I think the only kind of fighter that can beat Rodtang is an outfighter with great stamina, speed, footwork, and patience to keep Rodtang at a distance and chasing while peppering him with precise shots when he comes in a la Muhammed Ali or Sugar Ray Leonard.
Would be awesome if you could make a video like this about superlek

as a total newcomer to Mauy Thai this guy fucking rocks and instantly made me a fan
Rodtang understands the art of war very, very well. He seizes control (read: “control”) of the fight by either applying constant pressure, or by mocking his opponents to either intimidate them or get under their skin and anger them, causing them to *lose control* of their emotions and react recklessly.
“If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him” - Sun Tzu; The Art of War
Regardless of whether they are on the offense or defense, the side who is dictating the course of the battle is in control; the side who is in control will win.
Thanks again. None of the other channels do it as well as this channel, that's my opinion.
"For him it's Tuesday." lol
Oh ho ho man, you almost feel sorry for some of these guys. “For his opponents, it was the worst day of their lives; for Rodtang, it was Tuesday” ha ha ha!

Rodtang may not be the most skilled or technical fighter coming from Thailand but he is by far the most ferocious i have ever seen. In ONE only Khalilov gave him a bit of trouble and off course the legend DJ. His in your face style of fighting reminds me of Ramon Dekkers only Rodtang made this style absolutely perfect. I have never seen a boring Rodtang fight. Hope he destroyes Superlek.
One is one of the greatest mixed martial art companies ever
I saw the Rodtang vs Smith live on television. it was a very grueling fight and hard to watch as a fellow British who's supporting Smith to at least pull an upset which never happened. Rodtang pummeled him down viciously and I'm cringing every single shot Rodtang was throwing after he bloodied Smith before the first round came to an end.
Rodtang is inspiring, his adaptation is wonderful to watch.
thats how muay thai can be used.
Do you have plans to do a full breakdown of the Crawford/Spence fight now that it’s available for free on Demand?
Yeah he never did a full breakdown. I was surprised by that
Dude is humble outside the ring and beast inside the ring
Great fighter and very exciting to watch
Not only he's a great fighter but he is also a very respectful one
That's what make him a real Muslim☺️
What do you think about Nong O and can you do a breakdown on him?
That right hand he ate @0:56 would put a lot of people out, but Rodtang, eats it flush, snaps his head back and returns the favor. Insane
one of the best muay matts ever
It’s incredible that he is only 21!!! He may not even be in his prime and he already emptied competition at his level.
Well I think he’s 25 now

Seeing this small in stature beast beat up a giant bully in a bar must be the most satisfying thing in the world :O Not I wish it would happen. But like, y'all have to admit I would be rad as hell to watch!
In a weird way, he reminds me of Julio Cesar Chavez, relentlessly advancing, adapting to and withstanding any resistance.
For him it was a Tuesday 😂😂 I qlways give you a like but for that M Bison reference I need a second thumbs-up 👍 for it
He’s merciless, just stalks his victim with relentless pressure, and his chin is ridiculous! No Wonder he had Haggerty running at the end of their fight.. Rodtang is a beast and classy competitor
It's his iron stability in any position, his frame is so solid at all times
his short frame makes his balance works like a charm. his lowered center of gravity allows him to endure a lot of fight ending shots without buckling down, it's not always the chin, it's his overall composure.
Nice artwork at the titel
A walking legend
We love Rodtang!
I've literally never seen a man read opponents as well as Rodtang does. Some of his counters cant possibly work on reflexes alone. A lot of the time he just KNOWS.
This dude! Not only can he dodge major attack, he can block counter, hit you like a truck, and even tank blows like a champ!
I know it's to get around the youtube censors, but the blur box somehow makes my brain think it's even more violent, even though I've seen that fight 😂
His defense is extremely underrated
How you can look at what both fighter are doing? Do you look at both fighter hands or face to know what they do?because when i watched boxing I only focus on one boxer(my favorite boxer)
Same😄..i have to watch the video all over again to see the other fighters movements😅
I’ve heard that watching the space between the two helps.
rodtang is like one of those videogame bosses that you arent supposed to win against.
I love these videos and I love learning about the art. One thing I keep wondering is have Rodtang, Buakaw and Saenchai ever fought each other?? Everyone describes them as the best, but never compares them. I’m guessing it’s an age or weight thing? I’m not entirely sure. Can anyone clear it up?
Absolut legend! 🇹🇭💪🏼🥊
The way he makes killers look like babies is absolutely insane. Most of the fights you see from rod tang, he is literally facing some of the best muay thai champions in the world yet, he makes it look easy...
Another great video. It's unfortunate that you've had to blur our the bloodied face's due to demonetization though. Have you ever considered getting a Patreon? I (and many other fans of your content) would definitely support. Cheers!
I wished I had Rodtangs chin - whatever he does mentally and physically is on completely different level
A true marvel of combat sports-
That's why I'm starting to follow ONE Championship
Dudes a straight up beast
Its not a fight when he is in the ring. Its a masterclass
man, not used to muay thai power kicks, let along Rodtang's attacks, I don't know how Mightmouse lasted the 1st round to win vs Rodtang..
He's the main character.
I don't know how you can be a fan of combat sports and side with NFL/NBA stars in contract disputes.
If you're arguing off of "physical abuse", I feel for these fighters so much more
With all due respect bro no matter how you interpret the iron man 💪 he is that darn good
why did you blur the smith fight when you can see the fight on UA-cam already... I don't think you'll get a strike for showing blood when its already broadcasted on the platform from multiply sources .
I'm a fan of Demetrious Johnson, but I feel that Rodtang shouldn't have been given an official Loss on his record for a "special rules" match where he is fighting in manner in which he doesn't train or compete. Then again, MMA is admittedly new to me, so I don't really know how things like that are typically handled.
10:12 Woah. That was cool!
