Yep, I've always thought about parking my truck on the the roof of my trailer or loading cinder blocks on it....What does weight rating have to do with shear strength? (Twist,Pull,Push, Etc...?)
@@bobcloughjr My motorhome is about 29 feet in length for the roof and 8 feet wide. Wet snow is 20 lb per cubic foot so 1 foot of heavy snow would be 4,640 pounds
You can put 28 adults on that roof! Useful!!

I drilled my straight to the roof and used dicor and had zero issue also went thru the fridge roof vent no problem

This is really old. Laminated panels (luan, styrofoam, fiberglass) are the norm today. Lighter and more rot-resistant than a wood truss.
