I filled in my e-travel last night for my journey on the 24th July and during the registration process I got a notice “as of the 22nd July vaccination requirements no longer in place” and I never saw the section to enter vaccination details and went to the end part and got my green QR code. Great news Jennifer if it’s true and not just a glitch in the system.
I have just done a dummy run ! And good news it came up as well that from the 22 July no test or any where to put your vax details! :-)

Yes, because of this “Marcos finally lifts COVID-19 state of public emergency”. So vaccination is not required anymore!

I just arrived in Manila, the immigration agent just asked me and my son for our passports. And we are unvaccinated. It was an easy 3mins. process.

Did you guys quarantine?I'm just curious cause we are planning to travel by September with my husband but we both unvaccinated
I fly in the Philippines back in March, unvaccinated but had my negative test done and a certificate with me, because if you are unvaccinated your e-travel will be red and they will asked your negative test, so better to have it ready than not.

We arrived into niaa June 22 with an arabic pcr test. I noticed later it was stated on the test not for airline travel. The attended took it. Copied it. It was a negative test. We than transfered to domestics on cebu airlines. Luckily no issue because we only had a 2 hour delay.

Competition would surely be good to improve service. I have flown Delta 5 time in the last 25 years. The last time was about a month ago. I must say that over that time nothing has changed with Delta. I only fly Delta as my very last choice due to Delta being the worst company I have ever flown. The only positive about Delta is that they have gotten to the destination without crashing. Everything else from check in to the flight itself is very disappointing at best. I do hope and think it possible, that this will result in more major airlines scheduling more non-stop flights to the Philippines. Thank you Jennifer.

Thank you very much for your update, Jen. We are flying to the Philippines from Manchester tomorrow and we haven't got the antigent test as we could not find any place around us including the neighbouring cities who does this sort of test. They have already scrapped it. Was really hoping the Philippines will do away with it. What a hassle! God bless you for your massive help to many people travelling to the Philippines xx

Great Travel Experience traveling through Manila this July. My partner took less than 20 minutes from arriving in Terminal 2, taking the shuttle to Terminal 1, and clearing immigration. That includes her paying her travel tax. It was also the first time I traveled using my SRRV visa. We were shocked but happily.Both Our flights were on PAL. 😎👍🏼❤️
I sure hope they don't get bullied. Hawaiian airlines was bullied. They pulled out their direct flights to the Philippines. They were given the oldest counter at NAIA. According to Hawaiian Airlines employees, they were treated like crap.I sure hope it works out for united

Origin of departure, where to?, Vaccination status if you are unvaccinated, click on unvaccinated, then you are set!!! No testing required, etc.... It's back to normal, no e travel upload,.... It's all done

I just flew in 5 days ago from the US to the Phils. and the custom/immigration representative just asked the group if we had "green" on our QR codes and said we are set to go. We told them we had one that was "red" but they didn't care.

I flew in here June 18 to NAIA on Korean Airlines into Terminal 1. Immigration was a breeze, and customs only collected forms - they didn’t even read them. It took longer to get baggage than anything else by far. No vaccine card has been asked of me at the airport, in Manila, or in the province. Getting a visa waiver online is a breeze, especially if you have GCash and pay using that. It beats going to BoI offices any day!
Importantly the restrooms will be reintroducing the Tabo, so we can maximize our freshness. It is important that they recognize and appreciate our traditions.
Here in Australia we do take off our shoes after immigration check. When you are flying out of the country.
Nung nasa naia terminal 1 ako pabalik ako ng US actually dalawang beses kelangan mag tanggal ng sapatos. Una dun sa security check point matapos sa immigration tas pangalawa pag nasa waiting area ka na mag set up nanaman sila ng security check point bago ka sumakay. Maglalagay sila ng perimeter sa waiting area so pag kelangan mo gumamit ng restroom eh lalabas ka sa perimeter na yun at pag balik mo kelangan mo ulit dumaan dun sa sinet up nila na security check point at magtanggal ulit ng sapatos bago ka makabalik sa waiting area. So bale hindi lang pala dalawang beses ka magtanggal ng sapatos kung madalas ka gumamit ng restroom haha 😂
We arrived to Cebu and didn't have to pay for the testing. All negative.

Hello Jennifer, I enjoyed your videos thru CV19 and others.
United Airlines has been flying in and out of Manila for years. Terminal 1 Arrival time about 9 pm ua 183 and departure is about 11:45 from Manila ua 184. This route is MNL, GUM, HNL, and then to many usa locations.
But I have just returned from the Philippines via CRK, Wow.. Love this airport. It's wonderful. They even have a full service Bus Station just feet away, the only thing no Partas Bus service.
You have to travel to the DAU terminal and then wait for Partas. It's not fun. But again this is good news. SFO-MNL. But also the Philippines holiday week. Day of the dead. Aka ALL Souls day. Very hard to travel in the Philippines.

I hope they will fly from Los Angeles, too. I’ll definitely fly United. PAL has a very poor service and some toilets are even working.

I'll have to check the cost on United just out of curiosity. I hope the competition does cause improved service, and fewer cancelled flights on PAL. I will for sure look at both airlines for my trip over in 2025...Salamat
Untied cheaper round trip like $800 dollars depending on day fly.
I paid $1005 with Eva AIR, SFO TO Taipei, then Taipei to CEBU.

Wow! My antigen test in the USA cost me 200 usd….should have done the test in Philippines
No, you still did the right thing. There was nowhere in Singapore I could get a pre-departure test, because Covid hysteria is long finished there. So I had to get my test on arrival in Manila for 600 pesos. It was all clear and I was out the door within 30 minutes, but, and this is a big BUT, they informed me that if I had tested positive I would be taken to a quarantine hotel for 10 days at 6000 pesos a day!! So, $200 to be sure of avoiding that is worth it I think.
