Had that during my childhood growing in KL (70’s) and in Ipoh during 80’s. Now you hardly get this kind of mee goreng mamak with addition of bird eye chillies. I have never tried Nasi Goreng mamak, I'm curious to try. I can see how this very different compare to Indonesian mie goreng, this one has more complex flavour to it since it has dal and curry powder. Very interesting 😊

The brand is "Everbest". They do all kinds of vegetarian tofu based products! Not sure if you can find it over there, hopefully it's available at your local Asian grocery
