I'm kinda like Freddy. I have ideas same like he hears music in his mind, however we both can never bring out the exact idea. In the next life I wanna hear what Fred hears in his mind.
That's pretty fuckin' stupid considering this was in 2003 and that's when Linkin Park's second album came out, so apparently LP overplayed it with the release of one album?
One must remember by the time Linkin Park released an album, nu metal had reached its peak popularity and was clearly on the way out. They were thought of as sugar coated nu metal who were riding the wave -- the Bush or STP of their generation (although STP did something rare by eventually redeeming themselves by creating their own personality, which bands like Bush and LP were never able to do). LP were able to reach a bigger audience than bands like Limp Bizkit or Korn because they were ultra clean and scripted -- the rap metal wiggers it was okay for 13 year-old girls and high school nerd gamers to like. They were able to stick it out for 15+ years by not going off the deep-end on drugs, constantly upgrading their gimmick, and most importantly they were willing to play the corporate payola game (otherwise they would have been one-hit wonders like Crazy Town).
@@Arctic_Falcon yet they were singing about the most realest issue of mental health that eventually took Chester’s life.. so to say that their content was for 16 year old is the most ignorant load crap I’ve heard in a long time..
LP was honestly better than Limp Bizkit, as far as depth and lyrical content, and def better than other similar bands at that time like Papa Roach and Crazy Town
Under rated album. If a different band recorded this album it would've been labeled genius.
Most underrated LB album. It's right up there with the rest to me.
Love RMV. Hard to believe it turns 10 in a little over a month
