Yer So Bad - Tom Petty & the HBs, Live on Soundstage (2003)

- When PBS decided to revive the 'Soundstage' television program in 2003, they invited Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers to be among the first bands to open the series. The band wound up playing enough material to fill two hour-long episodes and more. When a DVD of the two episodes came out in 2005, fans were treated to an 'Extras' section that had some -- but unfortunately not all -- of the songs the band performed, which didn't make it onto or air with the two episodes. This performance of "Yer So Bad" comes from that DVD's 'Extras' section. Enjoy!

Steve Ferrone has an infectious smile.
He sure does. What a sweetheart.
Man, I've been looking for this specific version for years, no shit. I was starting to loose hope. Such a tight performance, thank you so much for uploading it, greatly appreciated!
It's on the Soundstage DVD. For some reason it's not on the blu ray.

Sweet.
Great version of my favorite TP tune.
Love ya and miss ya Tom.....Didn't care for the 'stops' in the chorus though...Just MY opinion....
Wow. Just ... wow! Thanks for uploading!
Fun version of the song. I notice that white Fender P-bass between Ron and Scott; it looks a lot like Howie's; wonder if Ron used a similar one, or if they had Howie's bass up there as a tribute when he'd recently passed? Coincidentally he died twenty years ago today. RIP.
Yes, they kept Howie’s bass on stage in memorial to the late bassist, it would be a tradition that they carried on for years. 🎸
❤
FL grown...
Do you think you could find the MTV special during the southern Accents era where Tom's driving around in the station wagon? Was a really good special but cant seem to find it
