- Brief video on the Truman Stone Rambler Boot and using the Truman Boot Co. Boot Wax after six months of wear. This is NOT a "how to use" vid or a boot review. I just wanted to share a study of the boot leather color, texture, and patina and after 6 months and after applying boot wax.

Thanks for watching. One of my favorite Trumans and my first. I wore them all through winter and they looked beat up. As you can see, with conditioning, it returned to its natural glory.

Appreciate it! I know you posted some conditioning vids, wasn’t sure how to condition these rambler leathers, went with the Company’s wax, almost fainted when they darkened but after the boot wax worked itself into the leather you can see from the vid it didn’t change the natural colors and texture

Spend $20 or so and get some shoe driers. They blow a very gentle breeze of warm air inside the boot. Helps expand the leather so the product gets into the pores.

Thank you. Yes, unstructured, captoe, 270 stormwelt, dainite sole, remove pull tab, 7 eyelets with antique brass hardware, and their standard heel counter. Hope that helps you.
Ever have any trouble with Truman boot Co?
I really love their boots aesthetically but I’ve seen really mixed reviews. 400+ is a big investment for me but I’m saving for a pair of ramblers. Any advice?
In my experience they’ve been nailing it recently!!! They’re one of my go-to brands as I stalk their website daily lol!! Trust me for $400 you’re getting more than your money’s worth 👍👍👍👍
You won’t find a better pair of boots for $400. There are mixed reviews on every single boot company in existence. Rambler leather is one of the best leathers out there.
Hi Dexter! I have around 20 pairs of Truman boots, each better than the last. I receive compliments very often and most important, my feet feel comfortable every single day. I barely remember what a break-in period is. They are truly comfortable even just out of the box. And if you have trouble, customer service is always very helpful!
Dexter, go for it! If I had stopped at GYW subreddit I wouldn’t have the amazing collection of boots I have now! Truman makes a wonderful, rugged boot. If you are worried, consider ordering either a pair of ready-made or perhaps from a stockist like Butterscotch LBC, Blue Owl or Huckberry ☺️
Hi Dexter, I'm rather new to boots as well and prior to ordering from Truman last Nov (black Fri sale) I only had a pair of Thursday Logger boots bought in Oct and a Danner Patrol from 2016. The Danners were the most painful and took 3 winters to break in. The cognac bison boots arrived from Truman and I was afraid of the same break in time..to my surprise, str8 outa the box, they were comfy!! Good workmanship, no issues at all. 3 wks later, the blue Squirrel Ramblers arrived, same thing.! So awesome! My 3rd pair is now being shipped out. Talk to Tyler on Live chat on Truman website, he'll help U with sizing questions or anything else. I'm very impressed with their boots and will always recommend them to anyone.
