I have the same Grand Cherokee 2001, I replaced with Monroe Shocks, when I drive over bumps it’s shacks and makes noise. Do you recommend changing coil springs?
Try stacking flat washers under the nut and body on the top of the shock absorber above the wheel well and between the plate and the nut and leave the grommets alone Make sure the grommet is always between the stack plate and the grommet and go from there. These Grand Cherokee shocks last forever They never wear out It's the grommets that fail.
king4154 I am most likely used a Impact gun. But if we have a long breaker bar and extension that will work. Don't be afraid to break the bolts off if you have to because you're replacing with new ones.
I have a problem with my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, on the co-pilot side there is air at room temperature and on the pilot side it is cold, what is the problem?
REC-WENDE Inside the dash there a servo motors that switch from hot to cold and one of the motors is burned out. You’ll have to find a service manual to determine which one it is
@@HowtoAutomotive thanks for replying, but the climate control is only one, check the blend door that is above the blower motor, and that's ok, also check that it will turn the motor when you change from cold to hot and it turns perfectly, also check the resistance blower motor and it's ok, I don't know what the problem would be
