The Denon DJ PRIME GO is a portable all-in-one DJ setup that doesn't require a computer or even a connected power source to work! The PRIME GO has an internal 4-hour rechargeable battery and the music files connect via the SD card or USB slots. Music can also be streamed from Beatport, Soundcloud, and Tidal using the onboard Wi-Fi connection.
The Denon DJ PRIME GO shares the same screen, processing power, ENGINE OS, and Wi-Fi capabilities as the other PRIME flagship players and decks (SC5000/SC6000/PRIME2/PRIME4) which means users won't sacrifice performance in this smaller package.

This machine is exactly what 2021 is calling for. Aint gonna be any clubs open, so we're building a portable soundsystem so we can throw some illegal parties out in the middle of nowhere.... This is whats gonna make it all work, will cut the need to use up power for a laptop.
I hope they add Serato DJ to this unit and Crossfader Reverse Switch ...
the onlllly things I want is bigger jogwheels... 7in or so and a better crossfader for scratching
Do you have covers for all you mixers on the shelf? How do you keep them dust free..? Great review as always
I have covers for a few of them on the shelf but not all of them. I don't really have much dust in my basement where this is filmed, but I do dust my electronics with makeup brushes every 10 months or so.

Hello greetings! I saw your video of the GEMINI CTRL 7 a long time ago and I ask you for help with that controller, you know I just bought a second-hand one but I can't connect it with the PC, they told me that they are the drivers, but I can't find them because nowhere, on the internet there is not much information about it please help thanks !!
Not sure where to find the drivers now, but check the gemini website or contact gemini support directly to get the drivers...

Still, it's only a couple of things I wanna know.
1. Does the memory cues show on the waveforms for rekordbox?
2. Does the microphone settings have a pan option, for panning the mic?
3. Does the memory cues settings show a count down.

@@djseasick I can answer these for you. #1 is clear... What do you mean for #2? Do you mean pan from Left to Right speakers? If so, then no... Also what do you mean for memory cues setting show a count down? Is there any device that does this already? I don't ever remember seeing a track time count down for the memory cues?
@@RealDJblaze Cool. In the settings of rekordbox, you can choose the time of countdown shown on display of the software under ther waveforms. It can show by beat, by bar, or by memory cue. It the secret to my mixes, lol...

a laptop kick stand will help with sun glair. wish they add sun mode to see in the sun. also how they add slip and playlist search for faster more accurate search

What do you think of the jog-wheels? They are the only design feature that gives me some hesitation. Does it feel like a real controller, or a toy?
This is more of a toy in feel... This should NOT be your only controller. This is a backup or extra unit...

The XDJ-RR is a better all around DJ device. This should not be your only DJ device. This is more of a backup or small option for certain gigs...
@@RealDJblaze I’ve been using a ddj-sz for over a year now on serato.it’s been an amazing journey and still plays like a champ!,even though rekordbox isn’t me I’ve always wanted my first stand alone Dj controller since I don’t have a serato option at this time, but yeah I’m also considering a ddj-1000 srt to keep serato going.

@@kareemthedream6084 But what about the Sound quality ? the Pioneer AERO is eq is 9db, i was always curious to try the AERO but always end up getting outbid or end up buying something else cause they are still kinda expensive.
@@DJTechnoboom Should be an Expo next year as there was one this year. Not much came out and it was pretty small, but should be better next year if the pandemic is behind us by then.
There is a drop down menu at the top of the screen that gives you cross fader adjustment. Also you have a option to do horizontal waves. The main reason to buy a Prime Go is because it has a battery. There is no current competition for the Prime Go at the moment.
Yes, you can adjust the fader, but even at its sharpest adjustment, it is plain rubbish! Too big of a cut in distance. No one should pay $1000 for a DJ console that doesn't have an adequate fader. Some $100-200 mixers have innofaders already in them... No excuse here really. I agree that this is in a class all by itself as stated at the end of the review. I like the device though...
@@RealDJblaze If you don't like the fader because you spin hip hop & scratch that's cool. I spin house music and we don't scratch. We beat match & our transitions are long. The cut in on the fader doesn't matter. A lot of house music DJ's use the channel faders anyway. When was the last time you saw Louie Vega scratch. Lol. My point is the fader is fine. It all depends on what type of music you play.
@@djfrankib45 Well, even if you don't scratch you should have the best crossfader for your money... especially if you are spending $1000! You should still have the ability to scratch even if you don't want to use it. No excuse for a bad crossfader in a unit that costs this much.
@@RealDJblaze So now I get it. You have a problem with the price in general. I have been a DJ since the 80's and used many different pieces of kit. Since I don't scratch; as long as that cross fader doesn't bleed I don't care. As innovative as the Prime Go is. And as much as it does. And no matter how professional it is. You sir are the only reviewer out of them all. And their are a lot. That has trashed the cross fader to the point you have is admirable. Forget that the Go doesn't need a laptop, is of metal construction, has a 4hr battery, has the ability to stream music, has an excellent pitch control, and pro grade connections. All of that for $1000. Wow. I do have a Prime Go, a Prime 4, and two SC 6000's. All of these products do what no other competitor can currently do. I am not brand loyal. I am feature loyal. Nice basement by the way. I'll still watch your reviews though. We all are entitled to our own opinions; that's what makes us different.
@@djfrankib45 he doesn't have a price with the unit in general. He's just saying that at this price point, the crossfader should be decent. It's still a good value unit but they shouldn't cut corners on a fundamental like that. If you've ever gone from a good crossfader to a bad one, you'll know how badly the feeling sucks
i see it only has one usb port, can a hub be used if you have one or more usb flash stick

A big heads up, Despite all of the things Prime Go can do it can't separate the VU on the master meter for individual channels.
This thing is a piece of crap if you can't even level your music. Buy something else until Denon gets their act together.
People have been on the forum bitching about this since April. No fix in sight. Garbage waste of time Prime Go is.
Are there any other battery powered standalone DJ controllers that can compete with this?
@@kareemthedream6084 Not that I've seen. I just want level mixes, this thing will not provide that without extreme work around.
