MX is my fave country to ride in...you will have a great time, just smile and be friendly, people are awesome in MX. Chiapas is my favorite state in MX if you are heading South.
@@ZSharkPH you got this. Feel free to email me any questions...I've motorcycled every state of MX and there is so much to explore! My email is brad.ringstmeier(at) gmail.com Have some tacos for me!
Yeah.. I haven't made a video on it.. but enjoy having the DR more for adventures.. Less things can go wrong with it.. And parts readily available everywhere. just to name a few.. when set up right.. its a great bike.
Do anyone know if the border into Mexico Baja is open. I am planning a trip to USA and Mexico Baja on motorcycle, the plan before Covid was crossing at San Diego, but seems like borders are closed now.
The US border is closed for tourists. US Residents and US Citizens are allowed to come into the USA, but if you are a Mexican citizen for example then US Border Patrol / Immigration will not let you in. I was able to go to Mexico to see my girlfriend (Mexican Citizen) on my DR650 in April with an expired US passport on top of it and the Mexican side didn't even ask for any documents (USA side doesn't stop you from crossing over the border). I came back into the US no problem even with my expired passport, but she isn't able to get into the US.
@@ZSharkPH I would be all in for a trip like that...just let it flow and trust until you have a run in with the cartell...lol...nah stop thinking those crazy thoughts! 😁
Crazy to see how few people speak English in San Luis comparing to Tijuana where anywhere you go you will find an English speaker for sure. I did that road not long ago on car taking my family on vacation and man gets really hot there God man you are brave , the more I see the video … your Spanish is really limited and sad to see Mexicans not knowing basic English , I went to school there they do teach it, I guess you found the worst students! Lol 😂
Thanks for riding thru my hometown, that brings back memories and shoes me how much has changed.
Wow, thats awesome.. Glad I could show some footage of where you are from. I really enjoyed it there.
Drove my car from Desmoines iowa to Tulum Mexico and back ,was a great drive !!
Dude I just subscribed ! I hope you can keep making videos! Greetings from Guatemala🇬🇹
Very bold of you to venture into Mexico alone without being able to fluently speak the native language. Just a man and his DR 650!
Sometimes I'm too curious like a cat.. Thats why they call me Whiskers :)
This is quite the adventure. I am not sure I would have done MX on my own...kudos to you and the sense of adventure.
I will admit.... i was a bit nervous riding South of the Border.
That is a real advantage. Great video.
Thanks Mark
awesome video looks like you had a amazing time
Merry Christmas buddy. Time for some new videos

Great video. Thank you for sharing. How's that windshield working for you
Another adventure! Where did I miss you changing from the KTM 690 to the DR 650?

They are open
I thought all the Mexican and Canadian borders were closed ! How were you able to cross in to Mexico?
I wasn't sure what to expect either. But it was Easy as pie. This was filmed a couple months ago.. not sure if things changed.
Well I'm glad you were able to do it. Keep making these awesome videos !
