I wish there was a mod to tone down the ricochet flashes lmao
Yeah those weapons that cause the massive starburst flashes needs to have the flashes removed. Or the weapons replaced. It is legitimately a bad thing for the viewers and frankly ruins most of the combat between large ships for us.
@@SephirothRyu If I remember correctly the constant starburst flashes were added with Warfare or Warfare II and are caused by large amounts of Vulcan rounds ricocheting/bouncing off armour. I agree the visual side of things should be toned down. Another channel/series with large ship combat, GetBrocked's Outlands series, doesn't seem to suffer from the issue in spite of substantial amounts of PDC spam so it might be a Weaponcore (which Outlands doesn't use) thing?
Me and Eclipse finally removed the scent of Castle’s Curry last week after Castle cooked 5 tons of it for DSC to eat while fixing it. Now Castle will be making 15 tons worth of Castle’s Curry and we won’t be able to remove the smell for almost a year because we can’t buy enough of the chemicals we used to remove the scent initially.
Just throw that ship out and get a new one

What a fun battle! Seeing the Styx in a fleet dynamic with other Frigates is actually really refreshing. Love seeing the Vengeance just unleash all her guns too.
The vengeance not having Shields is a little unfair but if it had it would have easily won
Even without shields the vengeance held her ground and can still function.

@@abritishguy7295 the DRF never stood chance. How many confirmed kills does the Vengeance have cause I believe it's like 10 or something.
Any drone fans out there remember that time that the drone's hit and run tactics kicked the poop out of the Vengeance so hard, that they had to re-record the battle. Cause I do :)

This battle was really just a cinematic flash bang
They're coming back to dock and tell Finn, "Hey Finn, we got a few Scratches on it, could you iron them out?" and Finn is gonna go on a Rampage that'll make Castle recoil in Fear
Because the Vengeance doesn't get shields, it should get a Nano bot thing, not the B&R that's too strong
No no install the B&R. Adds to the badassery and adds to the sheer middle finger energy it puts out😊
Being such a damage sponge, coupled with its repair systems, even unshielded, the Vengeance is THE most successful SE ship ever built, plus it's pretty modular, so it can B tooled to anyone's needs. The regular RWI ships R good, but the V will always B voted the Flagship.
Id love to see a Star Wars version of this with an ISD II going against Nebulons, CR90s, Hammerheads and so on.

@@RocketCouch Actually, single bit values are quite rare nowadays. Booleans are usually bytes, which would make true==0x11111111 (i think, I don't usually mess with bitwise shit)
This just shows how powerful the drones really were when they damaged it almost irreparably
wasn't it implied during Colony Wars when you were actually building the Vengeance that you might've had to fight the RWI at some point?

How do you repair such a ship. A welder cannot reach to the core of such a massive build, can it? So do you just fly it into a grinding pit and print it anew?
You gotta manually fly into the craters and replace the blocks. That's basically what they did in Colony Salvage.

Have been playing this for years on Xbox which is half of the game currently looking either to buy pre built PC for this game or I'm going to build one first time trying my hand at PC but I love the game so much and I need to play it on PC I have a ship in mind for captain jack and his team

One of the custom weapons I think. Whatever it is, it sucks and they need to either mod out the flashes, or remove and replace those weapons.
I find it funny as soon as the vengeance opened with her vulcans no shields could hold.

@taiko1237 I've put the defense shields through their paces and they can hold a lot but they have a limit

Kinda unfair that the vengeance dosent have shields
She still pretty much won
It’s a very old design, and still decimates shielded ships. When built, shields were not part of Colony Wars, and ship shown is as of her pre finale form. The newer version has shields I think
Idk if it does tho
I just know the newer version hits harder plus I can’t wait for the new version to get uploaded
I had to grey rig a bigger version for myself to make my friends get mad when we are in creative pvp it has shields better power more guns torpedos and destroyer missiles
