I think at 5:27 the Excelsior's shield came online, enveloping the Bridge of the rammed ship like a big energy based cookie cutter.

The way to simulate the Borg self repair is just having a bunch of welders in the ship across the entire hull lol

Jack, back in the day of the early internet (maybe even pre internet). there were some AVI videos around cross cannon space battles. There is a modern version on youtube but no where near as impressive as it was back then.
I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of defient classes going up against Peacekeeper fighter fleets backed by aWhitestar

I think that was the miranda. Poor things were the redshirts of starfleet in the dominion war.
