    Check out the stance on this Impala fastback! It's one of the sexiest full-size cars I've seen. This car had a body off frame restoration. The most recent owner just spent $45,290 on service and upgrades, we have the invoices.
    EXTERIOR: It has a look! Great body lines, no damage or rust showing. It has a metal cowl hood. The paint is a sharp glossy red. The paint finish presents itself very well especially out in the daylight. Although there are imperfections in the paint, a wet sand and buff would bring it to the next level. Original glass and chrome show its age. The stance is awesome! It's slammed down and sitting on some new polished Torque Thrust rims. They are 18x8s in front, 20x8s in back. Wrapped with Toyo performance tires.
    INTERIOR: New upgrades include a set of VHX red lit gauges and an I did it tilt column with a deluxe wheel. The shifter was relocated to the floor with a nice looking Locar shifter and boot. New window cranks, armrests, dash pad and billet pedals. New mirror, dimmer switch, rear shelf. Headliner and seats have been reupholstered. Carpet was replaced and has embroidered Lloyd mats.
    ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Great running 350 with a complete tune up. There are many new components under the hood. It has an aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb with electric choke and premium fittings and fuel lines. MSD ignition system and the exhaust manifolds were ceramic coated. It's dressed up with billet diecast valve covers, breathers and air cleaner that were powder coated. The front of the motor has a Billet Specialties Tru Track system: billet brackets and pulleys, serpentine belt, Power Master alternator, high flow water pump and new power steering. Upgraded aluminum radiator with electric fans, a shroud and overflow bottle. Wildwood master cylinder.
    TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Ginormous trunk! Solid metal with a spatter finish paint.
    UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for restoration. The chassis was taken apart, frame was painted. The front-end steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. It was lowered with drop spindles. Rear suspension was rebuilt and lowered. Upgraded brake Wildwood brake system with drilled and slotted disc at all 4 wheels. Red calipers, 6 piston in front. New lines, hoses, and e-brake assembly. Bottom of the motor is clean, new Power Master high torque starter. Rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic trans. New torque converter. New 3 inch chromoly drive shaft. Rebuilt rear end. Pypes stainless steel 2 1/2 inch exhaust with crossover pipe, electric exhaust cut outs and Flowmaster 40 mufflers. The floors were restored, it's all metal with no rust, painted satin black. The body was reunited with the chassis using polyurethane bushings.
    This really is the sharpest looking big car I have seen. There has been much more money invested than what we are asking. It is a sharp looking driver but certainly not perfect. It has a wow factor!
    I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.

    I get it’s some peoples preference but to me I prefer to front and back of the car to be level, not the front lowered like that but otherwise a beautiful car.

    Nice '67 Impala, it has Caprice rear tail lights, but no reverse lights on the bumper.

    I have a 67 fastback myself, so I like 'em a lot. I know it's modified, but here are few things I see that a potential buyer might not know or didn't notice. It's missing the rear quarter body side trim moldings. That side trim is supposed to continue behind the rear wheel to the rear bumper. May have needed some work done to that rear quarter sheet metal, which could be why they're gone. Inside door opening handles are wrong. Those are 55-57 chevy handles. They work but should be Impala paddle type. The bumper chrome looks like the worn original, so not rechromed. Dented hood lip molding. The grille looks bent upward in the center. Pitted up chrome on the side view mirror. So, the brightwork hasn't been restored.The headliner is loose. The rear tail panel around the tail lights should be blacked out as original would be, which looks better. To be body-off, it's not well detailed underneath. The cowl hood wasn't necessary, unless you just like the looks. As somebody already mentioned, it has no accessories...except the tilt. No power on the brakes? There's more, but it was truthfully described as being not perfect, so that's enough. I like the color, and I'm glad somebody saved it.

    I guess it has
    to be a manual being that it has a manual shifter, I didn't notice any backup lights on it, it is a beautiful car though.

    Is that a motor or engine? Being a car guy one would think he would no the difference.

    • @VoloMuseumAutoSales
      @VoloMuseumAutoSales  Рік тому

      Sure, historically engine is more correct. I'd argue at this point though, they're used pretty interchangeably & most dictionaries reflect this.

    • @tootsie5052
      @tootsie5052 Рік тому

      You're right, technically it is an engine, not a motor, like an electric car would have.

    Wheels are too big, front end is too low, no heat or air, no radio. Someone would have to spend a lot on this car to get it how it SHOULD be!

  • @stripervince1
    @stripervince1 Рік тому +1

    Nice but not my thing. No heat no a/c roll down windows bench seat. No dual mirrors No radio. And left brake light out. I'll pass.
