My dad bought a new one in 1967 and I took it to my senior prom. My date loved it and we had a great time. Oh and we ended up getting married. Must have been the car. Now we have grand kids. Thank you dad and Chevrolet. True story by the way.
That 67 Impala is what Perfection looks like. I love it !!!!!! Enjoy building that 51 Chevy with your daughter, enjoy making those awesome memories with her.
I grew up admiring a 1967 Impala that belonged to my neighbor's late husband. After he died, she left it parked in their carport where he'd left it. I got really butt hurt over that car too. I visited with her and helped her around her property all the time and the car was regularly a topic of discussion. I told her how much I loved it and that I would love to have it someday if she ever decided to part with it. She told me when I was old enough she would sell it to me as my first car, and would make sure it was in good working condition first. Evidently she didn't mean it, though. She did get it fixed up and running again, but I noticed it was gone one day while she was still at home and I went over and asked her about it. She admitted that she sold it to someone who showed up with cash in hand. I immediately got upset and started crying and told her how I'd been saving my money for years thinking she was going to sell it to me, and she basically said she was just trying to be nice to me and didn't really want to sell it to a kid anyway. I called her a phony b*tch and never spoke to her again.
Beautiful build, man. That must must have been a great feeling of accomplishment the final product and keeping the original drivetrain which is perfect. Cheers from Canada.
This is a beautiful impala you have. My father has a 67 impala like this one, actually was his first car. It now sits unregistered, never driven, rusting out as I write this comment. I'm hoping he will restore it one day like he keeps talking about. Very nice car.
I purchased a gold 67 Impala 2dr with a 327 in 1980 for $350. No rust , nice paint and nice clean original interior . The catch was it had a dent it the rear driver side quarter panel just behind the drivers door and the door wouldn't open. I pulled the dent and got the door working and the panel ready for paint . With the exception of that section of the panel in primer the car was in awesome condition for a 13 year old vehicle at that time. I was 18 and hard up for cash and sold it for $500 . I thought I did good making a $150 profit. LOL . And I have been kicking myself in the ass ever since.
SOUNDs like what happened to my lil Sis 69 4 door...original blk paint...and oh "the lovely CHROME" I LOVED THAT CAR...I was owning the road running 140 mph...OMG!!! The Coal Buckets were tooting air horns and smiling...my sister was "screaming" slow down. She was 8 months preg lol....i told her HELL WE GOT THIS SHIT...were running 4 new tires...lmao...SUCH A GOOD MEMORY...I OWNED THE ROAD !!! and then her dumb ass boyfriend TOTALED IT.........I GET NAUSEOUS WHEN I THINK ABOUT THAT BEAUTIFUL CAR....so i know exactly how you feel...
BEAUTIFUL CAR.....MUSCLE IS SO EMPOWERING....I honestly prefer IMPALA over CHEVELLE ....GODBless you for keeping a piece of art and posting it. NOTHING STANDS CLOSE TO THE BEAUTY and SOUND OF AMERICAN MUSCLE....THANK YOU, SIR....well done
Bro I used to own this same model/year! I will tell you, never had so much fun with a car! jumping train tracks, being chased ( I wont give more details), cruising on strips, and sleeping in the back seat. man I loved my baby! so proud and happy to of owned this year of car!!!
@port nut Wow bro you are really tall... heh im only 5`11. I was homeless before and slept in my car at night. was comfortable! I also turned on the heater for 2 hours. was pretty cozy (toasty)
Hello mate!! This 67 Impala reminds me of my uncles impala! I still remember the day in 1967 when he drove it out of the show room. Same color too !! Well done mate !!! 👍🏽
Wow Ryan, I saw a gorgeous old Pontiac Bonneville which I would rate as number # 1 same as yours in Australia. I won't say yours is second because yours clearly just as gorgeous. Your choice of wheels is spot on. The geezez that colour is superb. 😨👍
I absolutely love everything about this beauty except those wheels. It isn't exactly my shot of vodka, but she's your baby to customize and she's amazing.😍😍 I love everything about this. You made it a family bonding time. ❤❤
The Wheels the car had in matt black was so great to these 50-70´s cars... that i can´t really say; "That´s nice"! to the change to those modern kind of wheels like he used. It´s not "Ugly", but in my eyes it´s not nicer than those kind of old school custom wheels like the car had at first, what are so great..... The build is really nice done, especially with these Air Brushed badges,...but it was even so much better with the old school custom wheels
MR TURTLE I literally just brought 2,but every time I take it out someone blows it up or steals it😞 gta is a vile place these days especially with all the tryhards
I had one almost exactly like this color in high school, however mine was stock with bucket seats, four on the floor, 396 Super Sport. That was many moons ago. Would love to have that car today. Not quite as desirable as some of the Chevy's, but in mint condition probably worth 40k in today's inflated backed by nothing currency.
Awesome 67 Impala you have Ryan it’s totally Beautiful inside and out. Love the paint on it. What’s the color & paint code number. I would love to us that paint color on my 70 Impala. Sincerely. Mr Zapata from USA. San Fernando, California. In Los Angeles Co. 😎😇👍🏽
