One of the best shows I've ever seen in my life and I'm 66. If you've never been to a TSO show, you owe it to yourself to go. The video just doesn't do the show justice. When you're there, you can feel the music just pounding you, the lasers and light show, it's just amazing.
I have know about TSO since the 90's but never went to a show until four years ago. I was so blown away by the show, I am a repeat offender going on three years now. I could kick myself for missing out on all those years. Best show I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of a big name bands in 68 years.
TSO is so incredible live that they make every other concert performance just seem to fall short. If you only attended one more show your entire life, make it Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Not only would Liszt, Mozart, Beethoven, and Debussy approve, they would be the first in line to buy tickets! I saw TSO in concert in December of '06. On the downhill slide of 60 now, and it is in my top-10 favorite lifetime memories. Absolutely electrifying!
GO AL Pitrelli....My old guitar teacher from NYC Long Island. What a fantastic guitarist musician and awesome stage presence, Anything worth it IS WORK. Thank you Al
Yes I am very fortunate to have met Al and had private lessons with Al .It was a not so pleasant time in his life BUT I assure you he actually lives through his music ... Thanks Again to you and to Al Pitrelli
Just saw TSO at Spokane Arena 11/23/18 for 1st time. Lead guitarist gave a huge mention of Paul O'Neill. rip Paul. Feeling & hearing the sounds & the amazing visuals. 2 guitarists on front stage suddenly rose vertical standing on scissor-lift platform. 2 cranes in back of arena. Drummer has dedicated mini-stage moving 1 story up & down. Feeling the heat from the shooting flames. Had an imax-size screen behind them with many Christmas scenes displayed. Gonna be going every year.
I was also at that show at the Spokane Arena. Omg...that was such an incredible experience, and didn't know which way to look, with so much going on between the front and back. So much talent on that stage. I will definately be returning every year! 😊
I am always happy, when I am hearing our Ferenc Liszt, who's "Hungarian rhapsody" was inspired by , and based on our special, unique, from the rest of the world isolated, ancient- traditional hungarian folksmusic. (We have more, than 17.0000 registered, still popular folksong!) Thank You Stacey Porter, for loading this.
Al Pitrelli (closest guitar player to Jane) who was married to her at the time once said, "She is much better on her instrument than I will ever be on mine". And he's pretty good!!!! Long Live Savatage!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see them in Nashville this year...will be 10th time seeing them. Can't imagine Christmas without them (the year they skipped us I flew to PA to see them)
I love Transiberian, but I would like to see more of their orchestra musicians in action. Typically, TSO gets their violinists from local symphony halls and they are really good. (at 9:00 into song)
I didn't know you could build arms like hers playing keyboards. So nice! Don't know if she out did him on the KB but I bet she could take him in an arm wrestle!
I’ve seen them 3 times. It’s Rock and Roll 🎸 Christmas 🎄 music. The show hasn’t changed much from 5 years ago to now. If you have not seen them? You’re missing out. It’s a great family and friends outing for the holidays.
Been going to their shows for 10 years now. I'm well versed with their performances and one of the few who post videos of the West touring troupe. I enjoy bringing my camera to the shows and getting footage to share with fans, rather they've been going for years like me or are new to the band.
That's a cool little moment at 7:52 when Al Pitrelli points and smiles at the other guitarist who messed up. It sounded like he didn't mute his guitar on cue but it's hard to tell.
@99863310 Vitalij's first song is the piano duel was from third movement of The Piano Sonata No. 14 in C♯ minor "Quasi una fantasia", op. 27, No. 2, by Ludwig van Beethoven called Presto agitato
3:23 all I can think of this whole section is animal off the muppets with hair going everywhere 😅 Absolutely loved this whole duel. These 2 have more talent in their pinky fingers than I'd ever dream of having fullstop.
+Jeff Curran stfu like you could do better also says the one who has 0 subscribers as compared to Stacy who has 1,062.Sorry but you really don't stand a chance
Some of the local musicians who get to play with TSO when it comes to Utah said that the biggest challenge is reading the music with the laser lights flashing.
The official title of the Charlie Brown theme is "Linus and Lucy." And, you were right, the additional electric guitars, and drums does not ruin the song. :-)
This is why I liked Emerson, Lake, and Palmer so much during 70's. Classical mucic to a rock beat just grabbed me and took me away. The piano improv of a song like this is (IMO) very enjoyable. Like to hear more of it. What other songs/pieces do they rock out on with piano?
coming here to watch the Maestro play again. Thank you Vitalij! Rest in peace
Doing the same❤
Same 🙌
Always watch this at least 2x a year RIP Vitalij❤
Goodnight and Godspeed Vitalij.
You were amazing!
- (01:31) Beethoven: Piano sonata op. 27 no 2, 3rd mvt (aka "Moonlight Sonata")
- (01:54) Chopin: Etude op. 10 no 4 (Beginning and End of this Etude)
- (03:23) Grieg: Piano Concerto in A minor, op. 16, 1st mvt
- (03:43) Mozart Rondo Alla Turca, from sonata no. 11 (KV. 331)

Thank you :D
Thank you a second time
Chopin etude opus 10 no 4 . That one !!
You skipped "Linus and Lucy"!
Thank you!❤
One of the best shows I've ever seen in my life and I'm 66. If you've never been to a TSO show, you owe it to yourself to go. The video just doesn't do the show justice. When you're there, you can feel the music just pounding you, the lasers and light show, it's just amazing.
I got to see this exact show in 2011
You are absolutely correct
I got to see them live a year or two before Covid hit... it's time to find them again! What an amazing show :)
I'm 65 and still waiting to see them.
I’m 72, and just saw (and heard) them for my 15th time this afternoon. Please, just go! ❤
I have know about TSO since the 90's but never went to a show until four years ago. I was so blown away by the show, I am a repeat offender going on three years now. I could kick myself for missing out on all those years. Best show I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of a big name bands in 68 years.
15 years going to see TSO, Absolutely incredible, and I may have created a monster, my three year old niece had a blast and danced the whole time
ThTs grrT
I've seen these guys live in concert 5 times and it never gets old. I LOVE THESE GUYS.
I've only seen them 3 times and I agree!
I’ve seen TSO 8 times and going on 9 this year.
This year will be my 21st counting a Beethoven’s Last Night concert in 2009.
You love dragons too
Awesome! Does anybody else appreciate how good the drummer and bass player are? They are fantastic!
True
Terry Woods YES WE LOVE THEM WE SAW THEM IN CONCERT ON FRIDAY DECEMBER 7,2018 OMG THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The heartbeat of TSO. As with every band! (but then, I AM a bass player, so I might be prejudiced a little...)
Check out Savatage, you're in for a treat!
TSO is so incredible live that they make every other concert performance just seem to fall short. If you only attended one more show your entire life, make it Trans Siberian Orchestra.

GO AL Pitrelli....My old guitar teacher from NYC Long Island.
What a fantastic guitarist musician and awesome stage presence,
Anything worth it IS WORK.
Thank you Al
+william chiusano you are so lucky he was your freaking GUITAR TEACHER!!!!
You are very lucky!
Jane Mangini is the most original person of all time. Jane is class, style and performance in one. Jane is one for the ages.
I agree and TC is pretty cool too.
Not to mention sexy as hell!
And she was married to Mike Mangini from Dream Theater.
Travis Cown is she the hot blonde chick?
Yes the blonde pianist.
Thank you Paul for the best Christmas music ever.
RIP Vitalij Kuprij
I'm so glad I was able to see them in concert. So great!😊
Jane Mangini and Vitalij Kuprij just have a great chemistry together! Loved this! And I do agree with @cygnus53...you MUST See them live!
I just saw them in Columbus, and the light show is twice as incredible as it is in this video.
Got too See this Concert in Portland Oregon A year or 2 ago. Amazing Show and great talent! I would recommend too anyone!
Jane and Vitalij just keep on being the best! 2021 tour!
The most amazing live show in all the American music business.
If you like rock music then go see them live they are worth it
Yes I am very fortunate to have met Al and had private lessons with Al .It was a not so pleasant time in his life BUT I assure you he actually lives through his music ...
Thanks Again to you and to Al Pitrelli
A great gift, full of pure talent. I hope to see them in person one day.
thanks for posting love this lady and tso .
I'm in love with this band!
I will definately say that I love this part of TSO and that Vitalij definately won the duel, hands down and fingers blazing :-)
Her arms are just as impressive as her playing!!
hahaha: she prob'ly lifts weights !!
All of the girls in the show have amazing arms. It's obvious they spend time working out with weights
Went to that Show
She definitely didn’t skip arm day
They are still at it. And great.
I saw this show in Tampa and was spell bound and I am 73.
Awesome music
Seen 'em 4 times... This never gets old!
I agree! Thank you for sharing!!
I saw them in Cincinnati the next night (only time West has played there). My favorite moment of the show!
Just saw TSO at Spokane Arena 11/23/18 for 1st time. Lead guitarist gave a huge mention of Paul O'Neill. rip Paul. I just saw that show in Sacramento last Friday and it was amazing
I was also at that show at the Spokane Arena. Omg...that was such an incredible experience, and didn't know which way to look, with so much going on between the front and back. So much talent on that stage. I will definately be returning every year! 😊
It is truly the best part of the lead up to Christmas for me
Thank you so much for uploading this! I couldn't find this for the longest time!! :D
I am always happy, when I am hearing our Ferenc Liszt, who's "Hungarian rhapsody" was inspired by , and based on our special, unique, from the rest of the world isolated, ancient- traditional hungarian folksmusic. (We have more, than 17.0000 registered, still popular folksong!) Thank
You Stacey Porter, for loading this.
Vitalij Kuprij is a machine!!!
Was a machine
This makes for a truly awesome Christmas tradition
Thank you so much, for publishng this wonderful video...
Thank You Stacey, for posting this it was AWESOME and I do not ever say that!!
seen them 5 times live in Columbus OH loved every show go at least once it is a treat.
They need to have Brutus Buckeye on stage with them in Columbus sometime😉
My dream is to see TSO live.
The female pianist has a lot of soul but holy crap the guy is like Zakk Wylde on piano. Insane!!!!!!
now THAT is a great comparison
Here i am trying to wait until the end of the video to make my sexism known, and I find my comment already written! (All in good fun)
You are right, but Jane Mangini is UNSTOPPABLE!! I am her biggest fan
@@AD1978leo all of TSO is ridiculous!!!
Totally agree! ♥️
A Must See Once! You will Not Regret It!
All I can say is WOW!!! Those two would be great to watch anytime, together or apart... Oh yeah, and those TSO guys/gals too... :)
Been attending their concerts every year since 2005...They absolutely rock from beginning to end...
My girlfriend and I saw them in Greensboro for our first time this year. It was awesome!! Will definitely see them again. Super talented!!
Vitalij, so loved and so missed.
Al Pitrelli (closest guitar player to Jane) who was married to her at the time once said, "She is much better on her instrument than I will ever be on mine". And he's pretty good!!!! Long Live Savatage!!!!!!!!
Love it when bands do this. Epic
Thank you for sharing with a lifelong Westie. Well done indeed.
These guys..... SO AWESOME!!!
These two are truly amazing!!
Can't wait to see them in Nashville this year...will be 10th time seeing them. Can't imagine Christmas without them (the year they skipped us I flew to PA to see them)
Id like to go to see sto one day , in the future. They are amazing.
Just totally awesome 👍👌😊
great video, thanks for sharing!
I love Transiberian, but I would like to see more of their orchestra musicians in action. Typically, TSO gets their violinists from local symphony halls and they are really good. (at 9:00 into song)
I Gotta Get In To More This ! So Most Awesome!🎼
I love Vitalij's hair, he is how I would envision Bethovan crushing the keys :)
they are the most amazeing orchestra .
WOW! Amazing talent. Simply amazing Schroeder.
Saw TSO at Nassau Coliseum about 3 - 4 years ago,,,,,,AMAZING.
Vitalij was such an unbelievable loss. His talent was unmatchable, and he had a wonderful sense of humor.
Good Lord, I'm surprised that keyboard didn't go up in flames!
while just a movie...ua-cam.com/video/0UPftoWxFnY/v-deo.html
Did anyone else notice how smooth the transition was between the 2 pianists?
WOW! I need to take up guitar and piano lessens. I need to find this cd
I didn't know you could build arms like hers playing keyboards. So nice! Don't know if she out did him on the KB but I bet she could take him in an arm wrestle!
Vitalij is a crazy man on the keys.
if I am not mistaken, Vitali is a graduate from Juliard, and Jane is self taught.
+JGlascock100 Jane is a Berkeley grad.
+Christian Wentz oh, OK!
+Velocity4000fps the best!
Wow they are amazing to
I've always wanted to go to a show It would be awesome 😊
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!!
i was there! it was amazing. theyre both so talented!
THESE ARE THE BEST MUSICIANS IN THE WORLD, TY BFF,😎💌💌
Yep, amazing what they can do with their instruments.
I’ve seen them 3 times. It’s Rock and Roll 🎸 Christmas 🎄 music. The show hasn’t changed much from 5 years ago to now. If you have not seen them? You’re missing out. It’s a great family and friends outing for the holidays.
this was a fantastic concert!
Google Home commercial. First funny commercial I've ever seen on YT.
it is, part of Hungarian Rhapsody #2, the second half!
This is sooooo sick! I like it!
1:54 - 2:25 was absolutely outstanding
That's "Moonlight and Madness" from their Nightcastle CD
Ryan Scott no its not its Chopin's 4th etude in opus 10
+CHoRoNOwawds he meens thats what they call it.And thats what most people who follow TSO know it as.
extraordinary
So that's how you shred a piano....... Wow
amazing
So instead of enjoying it with all your senses and attention, you hold a cell phone in front of your face. Brilliant!
Been going to their shows for 10 years now. I'm well versed with their performances and one of the few who post videos of the West touring troupe. I enjoy bringing my camera to the shows and getting footage to share with fans, rather they've been going for years like me or are new to the band.
Well Stacy, as you can tell, the rest of us greatly appreciate your efforts. Thank You for sharing this gift with the world!
That's a cool little moment at 7:52 when Al Pitrelli points and smiles at the other guitarist who messed up. It sounded like he didn't mute his guitar on cue but it's hard to tell.
I remember this Part of the Christmas Show
@99863310 Vitalij's first song is the piano duel was from third movement of The Piano Sonata No. 14 in C♯ minor "Quasi una fantasia", op. 27, No. 2, by Ludwig van Beethoven called Presto agitato
Enjoy two great keyboard operators. TSO is awesome(of course) but these two are another level of awesome.
RIP Vitalli🙏
Hoping they bring this back on this year's tour 😬
3:23 all I can think of this whole section is animal off the muppets with hair going everywhere 😅
Absolutely loved this whole duel. These 2 have more talent in their pinky fingers than I'd ever dream of having fullstop.
I need to take up piano lessons again.
Yeah, I'm definitely in love with Jane. Vitalij, I love to have him play at our wedding...
A very cool piano duel plus the Charlie Brown tune
Great amateur video, Stacey!! Thanx.
+Jeff Curran stfu like you could do better
also says the one who has 0 subscribers as compared to Stacy who has 1,062.Sorry but you really don't stand a chance
+Jd Dehl I think he is trying to pay her a complement.
+pete3025 It was without a doubt a compliment. This video is awesome. Thank You!
+pete3025 oh ok.Just didn't sound like one
eitherway, they are awesome beyond description!
Some of the local musicians who get to play with TSO when it comes to Utah said that the biggest challenge is reading the music with the laser lights flashing.
Vitalij viejo nomás 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
i find really cool that they can play the charlie brown theme and blast it with the drums and electric guitars and it does not ruin it
Good music is hard to hurt.
The official title of the Charlie Brown theme is "Linus and Lucy." And, you were right, the additional electric guitars, and drums does not ruin the song. :-)
Vitalli playing that Paderewski bit, at the ending two bars, is just sooo crisp and perfect!
But Janey-bird always steals the show...
the turkish march (ronda alla turka) riff was amazing
Mind blowingly phenominal!
