Cmon if there is a John Deere dealer out there watching help mike out repair his Gator for him and loan him one until it’s fixed !!
I SECOND IT!!!
Third !! Good idea ...
Anybody else respond to his question when he asked about his sunglasses?? Nope? Just me??? Okay 🤣🤣🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
That was hysterical!!
I'm glad he left that bit in..
Katie me too!!
Mikey; I don't know how many folks comment about this, but I need to add my appreciation for your great diction, enunciation, and proper usage of our language. It is a pleasure to listen to your narratives during your videos. While I, myself, have sometimes fallen into the use of slang and loose use of terms; I nevertheless fully enjoy listening to your descriptions of your travails! Thank you for holding fast to the mores we were reared with, my friend. - - - and Press On!!!
Pete, I agree. I often think the same and think that he should be on TV.
@@neesargon3497 I suspect, in his former life, he was involved in broadcasting, Nees. He is a charming fellow and found a 'pearl' for a bride. I constantly wish them well and support them to the extent I can.'
Wow, thank you!
Yes all you all. Mike is a former broadcaster and radio announcer if memory serves. Its how he made a living before giving it all up to escape the ordinary! His voice is a million bucks!! It is soothing, tranquil and calms my spirit. I could listen for hours.......😊
@@pmchamlee What a nice thing to say...and your'e right.
Bak-LAV-a - A layered pastry dessert made of filo pastry, filled with chopped nuts, and sweetened with syrup or honey.
Bala-CLAV-s - A cloth headgear designed to expose only part of the face, usually the eyes and mouth.
Personally, I'd go for the baklava & a scarf!
You're welcome.
Haha! I wondered what he was trying to say! Lol
I’d personally need both. Plus a cuppa coffee
Exactly
Tucking in the calf.! You’re a good man Mike. Stay warm!
Thank you!
@@OurWyomingLife That was a very loving gesture. I know you love those animals. Very sweet. A labor of love.
Love the 30/30! Thank you guys
Our pleasure!

Love the calving season and all that goes with it, 30 in 30, babies and cranky mama's. Sorry to watch you fight the cold snow and wind on a 4-wheeler, can't be fun.
I've noticed some Ranchers modifying used, small SUV's like Honda CRV's and Toyota RAV4's for ranch work. Just a thought. Thanks for posting.
That would be cool
Swallowing a snowflake is much better than swallowing a fly, Mike. I don't envy you having to check through the night. Take good care.
Blessings from the snow gods. About time for some moisture for your folks. Yay!!!!!
Glad you're getting some snow, Mike. And, not too cold. See you tomorrow.
77 is the best
Awesome Video as Always Mike!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
John Deere should give you a little help with the repairs on Gator. They get a lot of free advertising on your aite
They sure do!
Mad respect to you for putting in the work, as difficult as it may be, under this almost unbearable climate. Thank you. If not for ranchers, members of modern society with their cushy and comfortable lives would be scratching their head, asking "how are we going to eat now?"
I loved how you tucked that little calve. Also love your videos.
Oh my....yes moisture means a good haying season....bundle up Mike 🤗
Good luck with all the baby calves. My daddy always said if a calf can survive being born in a snowstorm, they could survive anything.
Dang those calves are cute.
They sure are!
Good Evening To Our
Wyoming Life and all others too.
77 is a great mom
Glad your getting snow for the hays sake!
Ranching ain't for sissies:-) Glad to see you got some moisture, even if it's the cold stuff.
Hi
You asked about video suggestions. Tell us about the oil wells? we see scattered around the ranch.
Not much to tell. The money is for Erins moms retirement
@@OurWyomingLife I'm still waitin on a video about the mountains on you property. Been well over a year now. 🙄
@@OurWyomingLife As a fellow Wyoming resident from the Eastern side of the state, I'm just curious about how our resources are used. Are they for oil or something else? Maybe just a short blurb one day. I'm really not interested in the financial side of it, that's completely your business. I enjoy your channel. I grew up working on a dairy farm and I've dabbled a little in raising a small herd of cows for personal use and a small hay operation. I just like to learn how other people do things. Many thanks for what you do!
Mike proud that you are out there in the cold watching over your herd!!! Excellent vlog to show the world how well ranchers care for their animals. I’m glad for your moisture and hope you can get the Gator up and running. Who is your closest JD dealer?
C&B Operations in Sheridan Wyoming. Thanks Lance
Howdy Mike, reckon you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make em drink and you can lead a calf to comfy hay but you cannot make em lay. Have A Day! ;~)
Isnt that the truth!
Wow what a difference a Day makes!!
Although I live in Florida now I grew up in western Washington and spent lots of time out hunting and fishing. Spent plenty of time riding motorcycles too! So yeah rain, snow and hail all feel like that, needles in the face or any other exposed skin.
It's great that you got your hay fields harrowed before this batch of weather hit. Snow brings slot of nitrogen into the soil as well from the atmosphere, more than rain!
Ha!!!! I’ve done that!!!!! Can’t find my sunglasses....on my head....Glad to know I’m not the only one who couldn’t find my glasses....On my head...😏😏😏
So glad you got some snow. Hopefully it's enough to give you a good hay crop. Good luck.
Hope Erin got the harrowing done in time!!!!
Wow change in weather for sure take care and stay warm Mike
Loved the part when Mike threw Hay on the calf lol So cute.
Yay! Snow for the moisture but oh no for the babies!
What A Cold And Snowy Day
Good luck in your night time checks!💙🥶
Good cold day . It's so wendy here in Colorado very cold but sunny
MIKE, I wish I had the $$ to buy you the Gator you needed
Just part of life. I have had many winters where I was nice and warm in the Gator. Makes you appreciate it more!
John deere get mikes old garter fixed (dealership )
So glad you are getting snow but it certainly makes things more difficult. Will be thinking about you tonight!!
I hope so!
Great job Mike...
Thank you for another great video! I am sitting here in my house with the AC on and seeing you riding in the snow made me envious. Glad your tractor has heat and not like the ones in the old days; no windows, no enclosure, exposed to all the elements. Now get some rest when you can before going back out to check on the calves. I hope the storm doesn't last too long. God Bless and protect you all!!
Sounds great!
Yeah trying to give a calf a dry bed when up walking away never works for me either. Lol glad your getting moisture. Praying for more moisture. You guys got more than we did. It rained just enough to dampen the ground.
You need your coveralls on in that kind of weather , you would stay warmer . Stay warm my friend
I am weeks from buying a gator to putter around on my small 6 acres. If I had it already, I would gladly make the drive and lend it to you. Hoping you get that sorted sooner rather than later.
OMG! Mike you make me laugh (glasses on your head). You work really hard and I give you a #10 for all your hard work. Love how you treat your animals. I'm curious, if you and Erin thought about having a fundraiser that would help you build a new pole barn . My thought process is the barn would have enough capacity for all your cows. Of course you would be separating the mother cows/babies from the herd. You would save the wear -n-tear of yourself and your equipment.
The knit looks good. Probably slot warmer than the cowboy hat.
Hi Jerry
Stay warm. Hoping all the cows come through the cold ok.
80 degrees in Georgia today..... East your heart out!!
My good friend Brady has a birthday on the 9th of April so if there's any calfs you can name after him Friday that'd be sweet 😅
Please do an equipment tour!
Stay warm, we can’t have you getting sick! Glad you are getting the moisture you need but feel badly for those calves. I see a sleepless night ahead for you.
Yes! Thank you!
Peace and blessings
I know how I feels to have the snow hitting you in the face when you're really really cold I used to run a open cab bulldozer on a strip mine as some of the coldest time I can remember
Oh my goodness! Those wee calves.💞💞
Keep up the good work. 💞💞🙌🙌👍
I was watching on the web cam when you were doing this Mike
Good luck Mike hope you can see your way clear about the gator or a trade in. Praying for the family
Hi Rodney
@@JessicaSmith-xm2wg Have a blessed day Ms. Smith
@@rodneywroten2994 good morning Rodney hope to hear from you soon
@@JessicaSmith-xm2wg Thanks Jessica you are a very kind and caring person. hope you have a great day
Brrr! Yay for Moisture! Babies looked comfy!
Ice job Mike
Well I am soo glad you got the snow!! It kicked my butt pain wise when it came through Rapid. I kept saying I hope you guys got it. Seeing you did made it all good.❤ Next can we do rain?🤣🤣
I'll take rain! Thanks
Brrr...it looks cold. Hope it becomes spring rain for your fields.
2 cameras one on the handle bars facing you and another head mounted on your head
Hey Mike, don't worry about us or how long your vlogs are going to be. You have a more important job to do and that is looking after your cows and calves. You know we will always be here for you so what's next for OWL keep up the good work and see you in the next video🐄🤠👍
Sitting in southern california and remembering growing up in dairy country in northern new york . Thank god i not do this anymore. try a ski mask on the 4 wheeler.
That is good advice
'Where'd I put my Sunglasses?' I've asked myself that same question and had them in the same spot!
Lolol my mom used to lose her glasses on her head too!
Life on The Ponderosa! Think of you every episode of Bonanza...you were in a t-shirt a week ago and now look! Admire your confidence w t new calves--how to know they are warm enough and not obsess over this...i think i would be worried and have to put them in that warmer tank you put the other little gal, April, in last video.
Man of few words... 👍
Gota get you a mount for the camera when on the 4 wheeler
Been complaining about the heat this afternoon here in Florida. Got to say the snow looks pretty.
It looks like you all got the snow and down here in Missouri we got rain
A good snow machine suit won't be needed very often but could sure keep you warmer on that 4 wheeler. B
At 10:24 The way you described the snow is exactly how rain drops feel on your face when your on a boat and get caught in a rainstorm and running full throttle. Funny how water frozen or in liquid form can cause the same effects. Is the Jackalope okay? He looked a little pale in the last stream. :(
lol, hes ok, he was tested for covid and now wears a mask more :)
You wanted moisture but snow doesn’t add up to much
yeah, we were supposed to get rain first but that didn't happen
That one black calf with white face( red mom) looks almost like a hand print on face, lol!!
You got to get the Gator fixed.
Love that I am not the only one that looks for glasses on their head ❤️
Sorry, Mike but baklava is a mighty fine greek dessert and a balaclava is a head and face cover. Cow #77's calf has a really cute face.
I'm glad you got the joke :)
I was so excited to see snow on the ground and still falling. Snowflakes stinging your face Is worth it for safety of calves and moisture to get hayfields growing.
Is 77 still your favorite? Good momma cow. Did the cow and calf that were out where you almost got stuck, come up closer to rest of herd?
Again enjoyed the vlog. Stay warm and safe.
It is probably cost prohibitive, but could you build overhead shelters (like a cheap car-port) out in parts of the ranch?
Number 77's calf at 3:45 looks like she has a bear claw in white on her face 🤣 great video Mike, stay warm.
you will have to take it easy easy with that gator when you get it fixed good video man
I know right, kids gloves
Haha loved it when you were looking for your glasses!
Thanks for the daily vlogs! Love them!
😂 "where's my sunglasses"
I can't tell you how many times I've done that. 😁
The snow and the cold is why I moved to Florida over 12 years ago.
🚜Awesome
Hot grips on the ATV does help a lot.
You got snow we got almost 2 inches of rain
Wyoming 73°F a few days ago - and now SNOW!!!! At least no wind... Sorry but 80°F in So. Calif. Do some of the cows appreciate being brushed like horses? Any thoughts on putting a "jacket" on the calves or do they all survive the cold? Yes, silly city boy....
That looked colder than cold
You got so much acres have thought about using a drone to help you cover the land ?
North Dakota got 11 plus inches of snow yesterday. Praying Minnesota doesn't get any.
In that weather you need both hands on the steering.
can you do a video showing how smart these cows are?
A few days ago was sunny
That weather looks brutal. Thank you for sharing. How’s April?
I'm in sunny Florida! LOL
How about a video on that small JD tractor in your shop?
Awesome video!!!!! Mike Rowe don't have nothing on you!!!!!!!!!!!!
