I was just sharing with my husband about your thoughts when the big storm hits. He raised beef cattle for years here in Idaho. He was wondering had you thought about bringing the whole herd into a smaller, closer pasture before the storm hits. Then you don't have to drive all over to check cows for calves. I sure enjoy your bringing us along on your Wyoming Life. Liz

We all know Marty is a future favorite. Which will be tough because she is a freemartin and cannot be integrated into the breeding herd. And it will be difficult when she is older for the children to accept that she needs to go to slaughter. It will be a difficult story and interesting to watch. God bless you all

Now that you have a smaller herd, with bad weather coming. Would you ever build a barn large enough to hold mom and calves? Seems like it would be easier to check on new calves vs driving around trying to find them in cold temperatures. Would help you out a bunch as well.

In Central New York we had 63° today. Saw the snow and it sent shivers through me. #7 the poor little guy seems to always be by himself, Hey mom where the heck are you out partying. Lol.
May yous get a good share of moisture. I have to say that's the fastest I've ever seen Jeff move. Glad to see him back on the ranch.
Feeding the bottle calf Martie is a great experience for the kids. Martie and the kids have alot of love to give. Gives them a little responsibility. Love to hear the sounds of the calves. I wait everyday to see what new adventures happened or happening on the ranch. Thank you Our Wyoming Life !!!!!
