I just bought this truck , haven't ran it yet , might be good and helpful to know, let us know how it works for you , keep up the great videos, I just subscribed
Hey man! Absolutely!! Just here in NYC the weather has been not so good for outdoor racing as we’ve been having lots of rain and really cold temps. I so want to run this again on the outdoor track we have here in the Bronx called Gunhill RC raceway just gotta wait for better weather.
Nice. I've been racing mine here near Tampa FL and actually doing decent against Teknos and TLR's. The weight sounds like an excellent idea.@@Sentinel-RC-racing
@@Sentinel-RC-racing I did just order a Hobbywing 10bl120 g2 but currently swapped the electronics from my Kyosho Mad Van into the Pro4. So, 4000kv 60amp Brainz10 speed control. Will keep the motor but upgrade the esc. Aluminum front A arms and diff fluid tuning but otherwise stock.
@@niz76 nicee!! Those aluminum Arm should give some good weight. I run a castle copperhead 10 system in mine 4600kv motor. I run stock diff fluids. I think they’re way different from my other SCTs. Like the pro4 SC10 is 60k,100k,3k Front center Rear. Other SCTs are way lighter in fluid
When you run 3 cell batteries, do you switch to 1/8 scale buggy tires? 3 cells will spin the short course tires so fast they balloon and when that happens, the truck will become almost undriveable.
Hey, No , I don’t switch the tires. I keep the short course tires on. I have my tires vented so they balloon but not crazy and besides I only race my Truck on the track. On the track you just can’t pin the throttle all the time so that cuts down on the possibility of ballooning.
Hii, I don’t think so. It just felt light over all. Another thing is …I’ve got to service it. The outdrives need changing and new CVAs are needed. The ones I have on are bent so I haven’t been running it much lately. Updates are on the way for sure
You can also get stick on tire wheel weights .

Do you think that the size of the battery is creating a lot of one sided weight issues, any updates on your progress?

Hmmm, gotcha.@@Sentinel-RC-racing
When rc racing got it's start they added weight due to the 8 cells of nicad batteries would make them top heavy and unpredictable.
What shocks did you use on this truck?
Heyyy, I’ve got the team associated threaded coil over aluminum shocks
@@Sentinel-RC-racing did you notice a difference from the stock ones?
@@JoevsRc yeah, my stock shocks broke and leaked. These have been really good so far
