Bought mine this year . After a few problems ( Engwe replaced motor). I changed the seat . Fitted a 52T main cog . put an 11-32T gears on rear . Changed discs for 180mm ,Fitted air forks and put bmx bars , also binned the rear shock and fitted an adjustable air shock . Fitted a seperate 12v system for lights and indicators as well as an alarm . Have to say it is a better ride now than from standard
I have this bike 3 months and I'm always excited to get out of the house with it, it's an incredible ebike, you have to be careful not to use it like a competitive mountain bike but more like an off-road jeep.
Really nice Bike, been along your location a few times on my engine pro and love the Bike. I just take it nice and steady and have never been pulled by the police and I have been passed them a few times on my Bike.
Great video mate. Bought a ZG 4 years ago when I moved to the NL. Use it daily but range + motor power and lack of carrying rack is really annoying. Looking at grabbing one of these Engwe bikes soon.
Isn't it illegal on UK roads? I was to that the limit was 250W. Other than that it looks cool but a bit too heavy for my camper payload (unless I leave me wife behind).
@@ap7124 No, the law is based on motor wattage and max speed. I believe if using a throttle only without pedal it's even less. You would of course need to be stopped to be found to be non compliant, it's more if you were to have an accident and injure someone. My view is 15.5mph should be raised to 20mph to match road limits. 1000 watt bikes are fun though!
Nope, a wildly inaccurate statement - the legal level of electric assistance via the motor is up to 15.5 mph - you can pedal as fast as you like. Most cyclists without electric motors cycle much faster than 15.5 mph. Hope that helps.
Please do not buy from this company they have absolutely no customer services the parts on the bike are extremely cheap there are bits part of whatever Warehouse they came out of if something doesn't go sooner it will go later you will have no support their far more expensive than they should be
So this bike is very heavy 27kg. You cant really drive it if you completely drain the battery because of this. It also makes the folding process quite awkward and then you have to lift it to your car. It's also quite big for a folding bike. Standing next to a regular bike it's both taller and wider. Pedestrians will look at you like you are trying to murder them riding this thing. So consider yourself warned.
heavier even, but then how many km do you want to ride it anyway in one go? See other reviews of people who had it for longer time and actually went long distances.

Whats it like going up hills ?

I have the M20 too and that's such a cool bike, I'll do a review soon
Do you think this can handle some mountain bike trails?

You know which to take… 😂
Very nice Darren. Great video
Didn't answer the question illegal or not?
I dont own one yet, but I will soon. The reviews of this bike is very good.

Thanks for the info on the Irish EASA
Got registered.
Do I need insurance for hobbiest flying mini 3 pro
Looks really great... How tall are you? I am 6ft 2inches and I always worry that these bikes will be too small for me...
6ft but the saddle can go higher still 😊
have this bike and you better get flat out tighting all bolts after few rides and your back fender is going to be making lots of noise
That looks so cool
Where i can buey the back seat??
Nice 1 Darren
Do they do a version that don’t fold?
Yes M20 I’m doing a review on that but it’s even better
@@DMProductions yep just seen it just after I commented and already ordered it, got it in green with the 2 batteries
@@DeansDrones ooo nice it’s a baddy
Very impressive
Another e-bike review comparing itself to the top dog super 73. You get what you pay for.
When you buy cheap you buy twice. 👍🏼
It's a 750 Watts motor and can peak to 1000...
Cool
What is the top speed on it?
Sadly this bike isn't UK legal which is maximum 250w 15.5mph.
@@peterdredge3489im interested, would it be legal if I stuck to 15mph on the cycle paths/canal paths?

That wasn't what I was asking,I wanted to know the bikes top speed, and here in London all the scooters go faster than 15 mph so not bothered about it!
@@-Gooner76-the bike can do 30mph in sport mode level 5. Really nice bike and the chances of getting a pull from the police I think is fairly low.
Looks ok but not as cool as the Super 73 which can also go offroad and on the beach but the SUPER 73 does cost alot more !
It's 750w motor 1000w peak
We do miles not KM 🙄..it looks cool to me
The rest of the world does metric.
bet you get dirt in the keyhole over time
A bit of gaffer tape would sort that.
Dont forget the legal speed in uk on public road or area is 15 mph

Super 73 is an ABSOLUTE rip-off, when you compare it with Chinese bikes on the market
