For everyone complaining about more Korean food, this is a _series on Korean food._
I looked this up because I want to make a Korean fusion burger for my father. This is so inspiring.
I got hooked on Korean food while stationed there, so good
It's not in Dallas. It's in Carrollton Texas. A huge community and shopping area for all Oriental foods and restaurants. Nearby there are Asian places in scores that call them selves Indo-Pak. These are Indian and Pakistani places for food and clothing. I live 5 minutes from LA Burger and while as a white boy I still go to Whataburger most often...LA Burger is totally legit! This community took over a failed Mervins and its associated strip mall and turned it into something really special that attracts Oriental people and indo Paks from all over a multi state region...truly a success story for these small business owners..I cannot be too proud of my neighbors!
Whoever edited the video fucked that up. The host said Carrolton.
This is literally my favorite burger place close to my place. Even if you dont go for a korean style burger its fantastic and the bulgogi tots are to die for.
Yo! That’s my boy, Jon! Great people and great food! Glad they are getting some love!
When in Dallas next time, thus will be a must stop!
Looks great!
I've been to this place and this burger is LEGIT! So GOOD!
3:00 good band name
LOL! That dude knows how to enjoy an onion ring! xD
Love their intersecting take on food! Always evolving the flavours and mixing cultures of flavours together. Looks delicious af
Freakin love LA burger! 🤤🤤
Matt's like the only one of the OG's that still posts regularly. What happened to Lucas and Nick?
I'm here for the food and to watch Matthew eat.
as a Korean American, this restaurant is like all my stoner meals i put together with my parents leftovers lol
A place in Hawaii has had Kimchi Burgers for years now. Over 10yrs.
Kim chi is good on everything as far as I am concern.
that bread on bottom of burger is what we call "TEXAS TOAST"
Ayyyy, LA Burger! This is down the street, I've sat in that booth! K-town burger is my go-to, and the bulgogi fries are freaking amazing. Eater should check out Gang Jung Chicken across the parking lot, great Korean fried chicken.
First time I want to visit Dallas!
This made me hella hungry
His description of a "Cali Burger" sounds just like a Big Mac! :D
Kim Chi is basically like a spicy pickle... OF COURSE IT'D WORK!!!!
Blah blah blah why so much korean stuff?!
-people that clicked on a video with korean in the title
My city is famous. This is the first time ive ever heard Carrollton mentioned in a video.
Man now I'm sooooo hungry
I'm starting to wonder if history holds any records of any Korean person who didn't like kimchi. Never tried it personally as there are virtually no Koreans in my country, but the love Koreans have for the stuff is truly beyond my comprehension. Not hatin' at all
Ben - You're awesome!
All the Korean moms are quaking
The holy smokes burger there is amazing
Now my only question is how to utilize the difference between bulgogi sauce and teriyaki sauce because I have both in the fridge ;P
My parents live in Carrollton! I know where I’m going next time I visit
Want to make something Korean? Bury it in kimchi
I eat there all the time in Dallas!!
Kramer Morgan Triple D!
mouth was watering so much
omg i want to visit america just for this burger!
WHERE IS NICK!
Did it bother anyone else that he ate that burger without removing the toothpick the entire time?
in case of Vegetrarian how can enjoy the Korean foods ??
kimchi bulgogi fries 😋
The way he said Bulgogi....... "Buhgogi"
ima go try this.
I have seen a lot of delicious food on this show, but this burger made me DROOL.
Just add kimchi to any dish n call it korean fusion lol
Ahahah
We'll the series is called K-Town, so obviously it's going to be all Korean food. But at one point they will run out of Korean restaurants to feature in the show.
If a series was named Food, it would eventually run out of restaurants to feature too
Killdynamite the food world is so vast and ever changing I doubt they will run out of stuff to feature. Plus, having that title is too vague. They needed a niche to differentiate them from other shows in the channel and in UA-cam in general. If it's limited to a location, they will run out of stuff to feature. In the end they will need to expand.
Food is limited to a given location called Earth. And the amount of restaurants in the world is finite therefore given enough time, all content will be extinguished.
Killdynamite restuarants open and close constantly, what are you even talking about.
Notice he said “in and out” and not “whataburger” ☺️
That meat looks so good man
I like to eat this. For sure.
So much Korean food content... I agree with most viewers that Eater needs to spin Kang off on to his own sub-channel.
It's once a week just like other series. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
where’s lucas at
There is no Kimchi burger in Korea. That is not korean food.
Is it really all American if there are that many Korean influences
the burger is an american thing. they're adding korean things to something that's distinctly american.
It's called American-Mexican-Korean fusion. Fusion restaurants are common & everywhere !! Never heard of it? Basically American & Mexican food classics like Burgers, tacos, nacho, tater tots & onion rings with korean flavor elements added. It is "Hybrid food" and "Unconventional". Yes it often shocks people are who "basic" and "traditional AF", lmao.
Ocean I’m not sure you understand what fusion is. Fusion food is essentially the combination of different cuisines. The inherent definition of fusion food is discordant with the concept of all-American. All American insinuates that it’s just that - American- or free from foreign influences. And nowadays fusion food isn’t this revolutionary new thing fusion food is basic af in contemporary society
At the same time tho, America has always been a conglomeration if cultures, and has never really had its own traditional cuisine, unless you really think about the food Native Americans ate way back in the day. Since America was America, it was always a mix of food from places like England or Ireland, from the Russians and the Dutch. And I think that mixing food influences like in this burger is something distinctly American.
If they didnt call it the kimcheese burger ill be disappointed
do a pinoy series next
Watching this, wondering if he's going to bite the toothpick still in the burger
I live in Dallas and this place is everywhere it’s not that special lol
Take the pick out brooo
*Kimcheeseburger*
Where's Nick Solares and Lucas?!?!
I love Korean food, but can we get more uploads from other Asian cultures :(
Donnie R well this is the purpose of this series. korean food
Umm, this series is called K-town...
done with korea
dhsu619 I understand that. But this channel has been oversaturated with this series. If you want people to truly appreciate videos like this you have to give a high variety of other different videos so it doesn't feel like we're watching the same this over and over every week. They post other videos but it seems to always feel like this K-Town series comes up most often
Vietnam would be nice. A lot of Vietnamese food in TX and CA
Eater puts up Meat Show vids, viewers lol at Nick and his jargon
Eater stops putting up Meat Show vids, viewers are like, where’s Nick at?
Nice vid, btw... but it seemed like he wasn’t that enthused with the food here, could just be me
eating it while the toothpick is still in it is freaking me out.
Enough is enough
I don't get what's special about this place. There have been places doing this kind of food for years now.
You do realize there is more than Korean food right?
He doesn’t seem that impressed by the burger.
It’s Korean-Americans who’re innovating K food. Koreans can’t do it.
I mean I love both cultures but how are you gonna call a Korean influenced burger an "All American Burger" ?
It's not even trying to be one.
Dislike for that subtle shot at In & Out. How dare u.
can we get out of K-Town please, curious about other cuisines EATER
I really wish Eater would do the same amount of coverage for black own restaurants or flavors.
Miss O.P.agreed
Why? Is there some quota to be met or something?
@ᙅYᙖᙓᖇ ᗪOᙅ™ I love soul food, and Ethiopian food, spicy yummy, I love Nigerian food, I love tons of that. Quota of good food. Never. But we have a Korean show.... that goes on and on about yummy Korean food. I think that we could spread the love to other ethnic food as well. Id loves a greek food guy, hell I'd love a Turkish food guy. I think the real question isn't if I think there should be a quota the real question is why you don't want to explore the amazin world and find all kinda foods. Why "Why? Is there some quota to be met or something?" leave an ignorant statement like that.
Miss O.P. I'm with you on that
you can only do so many episodes on chicken
Sorry, the extremely backward and extremist state of Texas is a fly-over state for me. Why did they move to Texas?! There's a reason why Tesla is moving back to California.
Oh wow Korean stuff again.... Who would have guessed that...
me!
hmm... well the show is called K TOWN
Ha! Read the titles, Dumbass.
Korean food? In a show called K-Town? How could you, Eater! REEEEEEEEEE
Who picks your music? Get rid of them.
How can this be a Korean burger, with teriyaki? This food looks gross.
so much crap on a burger please
Could we have less of Korean and more of other Asian cuisine. This is just my opinion please don't go all out toxic on me lol.
If you're interested in other Asian cuisines, check out our series "Cooking in American" or "Dining on a Dime". They both have covered quite a few different Asian cuisines. This particular series, "K-Town", is focuses on Korean foods and fusions. Thanks for watching!
Eater Thank you, Enjoy all your videos! Keep Em' Coming!!
I’m so sick of this series
You got any constructive criticism about it or?
Then don't watch it.
poutine is dog food
Enough Korean food...
ENOUGH KOREAN FOOD
So tired of this series
