I’m the pickiest guy in the world with fades and I’ve been cutting my own since I was a kid I always see mistakes even in the top UA-cam guys. This is a real fade the graduation is on point
Brilliant brilliant brilliant.I am from South Africa and I thoroughly enjoyed and learnt a lot.Can you please tell me what number guard you switched to at 12:21/12:22 and was the lever opened or closed.Thank you
Love your work man, I use your methods on my 4 sons 18yrs 7yrs 6yrs and 4yrs old and get some good feed back from others of how far I've come and how good they looking, progress is progress no matter how small.. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge 💯🙏
Okay so this is my first time coming across your videos and i have to say i am a barber student studying in school and this video taught me the easiest way to fade and really broke it down i can't thank you enough man lol i should have you my 13 thousand lol thanks again man and keep it up you earned a subscription !
I really like how you did your steps. A lot of videos I watch go from the open blade to 1 guard open. Then cleaning up in between with the 1/2. I been using this step and sometimes it's difficult for me. I think your blend came out so blurry going guard by guard. Definitely easy to follow. Thank you.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!! I’ve been struggling with learning how guards work.. from lever play to blending the first line. One of my biggest challenges so far is using the clippers to blend my guidelines. Maybe it’s just the quality of mine, financially I can’t get better ones but I’ll work with what I have and take it. Videos like this help new to the game barbers like myself. Thank you so much for the detailed explanation of every move! I hope to soon open my own shop and spread the wisdom of how to cut! 👏🏽
This video really help me. My boyfriend was super satisfied with the way I cut his hair (the first time he ever let me near his head with clippers) and it was all thanks to this video. So thank you.
Great vid js cut my sons hair for the 1st time n it came out better then I thought It would . I listened n watched the video the whole time over n over .Thanks for the help
I loved this video it helped better than a lot of them out here. One thing that I wish you could explain was when you see dark spots how do you know what guard to put on and if you use the lever open or closed to take them out without messing up the fade. That’s only thing that I have a question about.
I have seen several tutorials and this by far the easiest. Sometimes I think barber forget we are newbie and skip steps. Thanks for your explanation/demonstration.
I appreciate you taking the time to do this homie. About to start my barber career and want to do as good a job as possible right off the bat. This video is very detailed and helpful.
Im a girl and it’s always been a dream of mine to open up my own barber shop and right now I’m barely starting I’m a beginner and this helped me so much thx🙏🏽❤️
You are amazing sir I am currently halfway through Barber College on my way to be a master barber and I truly enjoy and user videos for educational purposes for my career love the way you explain the cuts
Yo pa andy v is right bro the way you explain this was on point this was the best one that I've seen keep up the good work and may God bless your hands with abundance
Good fade good work brother 👌 only critique I would say, I remember using black ice and things like that back in the day but really that just cuts corners and hides things it doesn't give you a crispy cut. The hairspray and all I used to do that was Spritz but again that doesn't give you a crispy cut. It's better to just comb to hair down when it's dry in it's natural behavior. Otherwise there are some hairs that curl up naturally, Then line it up and then follow through with some alcohol and a straight edge persona blade. You'll catch every bit of stubble. I would only do color and things like that for hair shows, magazines photo shoots. Because again when they shower all that color is going to come off and they're going to be a lot of imperfections because no razor work was done to really sharpen things up and catch hair stubble. I salute you brother for putting out the content I think it's amazing and awesome this platform we have now to help educate and encourage others I really enjoyed watching your fade work 🤝✊
As far as lever open or closed goes the guard number? The kind of clipper new to cutting hair and your tutorials really help just prefer to see what guard and clipper and lever action and techniques thanks so much!
When you use the number one closed do you hit just the bottom line or do you go all the way a bit before hitting the top guideline? Looks like you go all the way up, lever closed
Excellent video but I just have a question. Why do you start with the clipper open then come back with it closed to fade that bottom line? Is it not the same effect if you start with the guard closed and then open it as you move up?
My steps that I usually do that sped up my process to cut r 1. Sent intial guideline with clippers then shave it with babyliss shavers 2. Set my second guidline half an inch with my blade open and flick it out n blend it 3. 1 closed about 3/4 of an inch above ur secondary guidline n blend it with ur 1/2 guard with the lever halfway 4. My last guidline is with the 1 1/2 closed which I blend it using my 1 guard lever halfway 5. Then all I do is flick straight up with the 2 closed and clipper over comb n DETAIL WORK Hope y’all take ur time to read it I’ve found great improvements cutting my time by half I use to take 1hr 30 minute now I take 45 MINUTES
I read it!So basically you trimmed your overall cut time by altering your lever placement with the C strokes ( flicking out) at the bottom instead of clippers being flush to the head. Which to me leave less going back over it. Ima try it. Thanks💈
This was a dope ass cut, I dig how you actually explain step by step unlike most UA-cam barbers! Hella good shit bro ima apply this to my cuts Forsure 💪🏾
Almost every barber has a different technique to fade, but your way is by far the easiest to follow and probably the best one for beginners. Also, do you fade yourself up? If it's not too much to ask, can you please show us a tutorial for a self cut? Thanks.
