I have several of the 3DLabs airplanes and accessories Truly beautiful designs, superb engineering, and build quality. Oh, and their G-Codes are spot-on for Pruas Printers.
For their gcode did you use their LW-PLA filament or another brand like esun or colorfabb?
@@adventureeveryday1474 I used Colorfabb LW-PLA using their G-Code on my Prusa MK3S+ And I didn't have good results on a particular model on a fuselage section. The model name is the Bungee Prop, I had to lower a bit the temp on the LCD screen and I also had problems printing the wing tips of this particular model, I remember I wasted quite a lot of filament to print these specific parts.
I didn't assemble the whole model and flew it up to this day because I lost interest in it, I also sent a lot of e-mails to them and never got a response, I remember I asked them if they could ship their particular PolyAir 1.0 directly to my country but I never got an answer so I eventually manage to get one by using another courier from another country which it took quite a while to arrive home but recon that the PolyAir1.0 is a very nice product to print Aircraft with in Vase mode But I didn't Use it on any of their aircraft.
I may try to print their PiperCub because it's a free download and see from there, If I will succeed I may consider buying the files for their Waco.
I cannot say enough how good these planes are. They are all designed beautifully and fly excellent as well. As Stephan, I also started with the small Spitfire and then got into the large warbirds (Bf109, large Spit, Corsair etc). All these planes came out so well and often get a lot of positive feedback from fellow pilots at the club. The feeling of accomplishment is much higher than when you “build” an ARF (almost ready to fly), and if you crash, you simply build a new one. Often you can simply “recycle” the electronics such as ESC, motor and servos. Overall, 3DLP has the best designs and I’m super happy flying their models. They have a sale few times per year, where they give 20% off. Thanks so much Stephan and 3DLP for taking our beautiful hobby to the next level! And now finally start working on that twin 80mm EDF A-10 Thunderbolt jet that I have been requesting for so long 😊

I've just discovered you guys and today I started my first model from you guys, the piper cub 😉👌 love the idea you focus on the warbirds, absolutely love them my self and now I have an affordable option to fly more models 😁
So glad I found your page and videos- I too work in blender off blue prints from my old Balsa Aircraft that are discontinued- I have been able to use your internal frame designs to apply to building my own models and it helped cut down the mass amount of time building the model- I will be getting my new 3d Printer to build these parts! I am so excited to bring my models to life.

Very nice. Great job! On the BF109, would be better to mount the retracts at an angle then set the servo end stops to be a bit less than 90degrees so you can have a scale gear angle ;) I'll build one of yours pretty soon, and recently finished my first personal design - a 1/12 scale WWII RC tank. Lots of fun!
I'm building the Piper cub right now. It's not a plane I would be drawn to but I downloaded it free from you when I bought the newer Focke Wulf. I really like the way the Piper is designed using filament for the hinges and wing reinforcement. All your planes are so sexy. The only one I didn't like was the speed boat because it needed fancy slicing and didn't come with pre sliced gcode so I've never printed it. I could have bought a plane instead. I'm excited you've made this video. I hope you make more showing the things you're doing.
I love 3DLabPrint. I have a couple of your planes thet I have printed but I have yet to assemble one completely because I seem to get distracted easily.. One day I will.

I`m most interested in plane that I can put some kind of FPV on it! Please Build more planes with interested cockipit ;D
I`m also building a small digital panel with some instruments for navigation using arduino and LCDs, I want it to be like in the real aircrafts so when I use it with FPV for the scale flying ;D
I'd love to see you develop a Luscombe Silvaire as I used to fly the real thing and want to do a model of the one I had. I'd even settle for just the fuselage and tail assembly and build up the wings using conventional techniques as mine had fabric covered wings.
As soon as I have some free time again, I will build one of those planes. 😀
What do you think of ASA btw.? It is a good bit lighter than PLA and also impact resistant.
Or what about Polypropylene? It's even a bit lighter than ASA, probably unbreakable and has perfect layer adhesion!
Only issue I found was bed-adhesion (but there are methods to fix that). A plane printed out of PP should be great!
Dihedral angle is the upward angle from horizontal of the wings or tailplane of a fixed-wing aircraft. "Anhedral angle" is the name given to negative dihedral ...
Gonna have to give Blender another try.

Really impressed by your concept and work, but I would never recommend Blender for such work. For you it may be the best choice because you have the knowhow, but for a beginner I would always recommend a parametric CAD Software (Fusion, Onshape, Solidworks,...) for designing functional parts.
Okay wow. I think it is not easy to change my mind between epo models and 3d print planes.. they take a lot of print time. As a flight beginner like me i like epo.. its more crash resistant and i need that.. For long time flyer okay.. for me? no... 1 crash.. hours over hours are gone for nothing. But you guys make a very good job. Wish you the best🫵👍🤘

go back and redsign the planes so the wings slide into one another. It'll make them strong and the join lines cleaner.
PLZ, Start making some jets like F-16, F-18, F-4 Phantom, F-117 Stealth, and T-38 Talon With 90mm fans. I know it is a lot but I would say the t-38 talon Is one of the least seen rc plane.

Except when you added the Arachne perimeter engine, it broke the ability to print these airplanes. Luckily it can be turned off, but it was a shock at first.

i tried the cub, got me some poloylight pla and after folling the directions it didnt print at all like it was said to. after much dissapointment i finallly figured out the pla is not polymaker polylight its esun lightweight pla. i dont understand why they would tell you to get one thing but use a different pla.
There are two kinds of lightweight PLA: The pre-foamed kind like Polymaker makes which you print at 100% flow, and foaming PLA like esun and ColorFab which you print around 50% flow. Also, Polymaker's naming is confusing, as "polylite" is a generic name, you have to get "PolyLite LW-PLA" to get the pre-foamed stuff. The Polymaker is super easy to print, but is slightly heavier than the foaming kind. In most cases you can substitute as long as you use proper settings and the design can handle slightly higher wing-loading.
Are there any models up there in 3D Lab Print that could ift in a 180mm ^3 3D printer like the Prusa mini?

Check Cults 3D most are 1/16 scale but lots of models to choose from.
I was excited to try this, but then I noticed that all of their models need a print volume just a bit bigger than my MINI+.... :-(
(From the FAQ, "The recommended build volume is 200/200/200 mm. Most of our planes fit 195/195/150 mm or 250/120/150 mm.")
Video ma na prvý pohľad zaujalo a hneď pri prvých slovách sklamalo :-/ pýtam sa prečo sa Česi hanbia za materinský jazyk rovnako ako Slováci chápem že Angličtina hýbe svetom ale určite by ocenilo viacero sledovateľov si video pozrieť v prirodzenom jazyku :-) dúfam že zavediete znovu zverejňovanie videí ako v Angličtine tak aj v Češtine ako tomu bolo v predchádzajúcich videách.
looks great, just not really usable for anyone serious about RC planes cause it takes forever to print them, they don’t last and are very fragile and fixing is next to imnpossible cause you need to reprint tons of stuff, foam is just vastly superior in every aspect including price really. But definitely cool looking and great technology, just not performing from these aspects
Print Spare Parts os not true, when you crash, you not need Spare Parts, you need a Spare Plane
6:56: 4 planes this is not True, you need 500g of Filament to Tune your Printer, Temperature and Slicer Settings! When you tuned evrithing then it os halve true becurse Prints Fail.

Is there a channel just for products and not builds? No disrespect to this video, but I'd prefer to follow a pure product channel. It's better than following and then consistently having to tell YT I'm not interested because I don't like this video, which probably doesn't help the popularity algorithm.
