One thing I don’t hear many wives discuss is, while the common thought about the incoming wife is “settling for seconds” or things like that… the reality is, she is vetting and should have actually found a man who is PROVEN. He has proven he can handle marriage, he’s proven he is a provider, it’s actually far less of a risky proposition than the idea of picking a man because you think you love him and you’re both young and he’s totally unproven. You’re not settling at all, your choosing wisely and showing massive amounts of maturity when you don’t care about the notion of having to “share”, which is a childish trait.
This is also why traditionally fathers giving their daughters in marriage works out better overwhelmingly than how we do it today, fathers can filter out the losers way better than women can, especially young women. So given that that is not really happening any longer, being an incoming wife is probably the safest bet you can make in 2022 to ensure a good marriage and good provider for yourself as a woman.
I'm actually very glad you made this comment. I NEVER thought about it that way. Truthfully I've always struggled trying to understand why a woman would choose to disrupt another family for her own happiness. That's how I saw in- Coming wives as "negligently disruptive"....BUT, reading this comment is the first time, that I changed my mind about that. The Holy Quran says that one is better for you if you but knew, and that a man can have up to 4 for the sake of saving the community. Yet so many men miss that first part and do it for sport making them no different from the non muslim men who have baby mommas and side chicks. They also miss the building community part and create many broken families. As a fellow muslim myself I will say that FOR ONCE it is VERY refreshing to see a man choose for the right reasons and to see his wives speak well of him and they get along. This shows that the spirit of Allah is present and all have good intentions. I really needed to see this for I always feared stuff like this. I can identify with the first wife in growing up seeing men cheat so often it leaves us feeling some kind of way. Plus I can identify with the second wife for I too wouldn't want to come in as a I am better and will take away from type of spirit so many women have today towards each other. We appreciate the kind words and duas and are grateful to be able to be a light when it comes to showing the many benefits of polygyny. We do have to point out something though which we feel is very important; nowhere in the Quran does Allah say with respect to polygyny that "one is best if you but knew". However a man is cautioned that if he fears he can't be just, then one. Also, polygyny was the norm until a few short centuries ago, definitely at the time of thr Prophet (sws). Whether or not people saw that as saving the community or not is debatable. It's simply a form of marriage which has many benefits. It isn't limited to any particular reasons, what is of concern is that the husband is fair and just in his marriage(s) regardless of why he chose to marry. Sadly it's true that many men and women abuse things that were meant to be good whether in marriages, religion, or otherwise and polygyny isn't exempt. So we're here trying to help in some firm or fashion those who want to win at it and develop fulfilling relationships.

So, from where or whom did they aquire the feelings they had causing them to speak as if asking for my supposed wife that I had offended or insulted them. And they altered words to mk me appear as if I offered disrespectful conducts. I learned it's called flying monkeys! She even deliberately mirrored this note pad so she can spy on everything I researched without my knowing until she observed I attempted to do background check on a female encountered here 15yrs ago she agreed too, but scorned because the sister couldn't hv anymore offsprings. I'm not hiding anymore. If she buyout then so be it. She's already managed isolating me from my offsprings and so-called sisters of hypocrisy because the lot intouch until realizing how I began dissecting wife's conducts character and behaviors. Now, isolated they won't even call. But, there eyes hands and feet & hearts testify of them!
