That's a thing here in the Philippines highest note challenge, mori, katrina and many other singer. They even sing lying flat in the floor while singing from one note to other higher note over and over again.
Belting is SO COMMON here in the Philippines.We call it "birit".Every singer here needs to belt in order to establish a more solid career.That's why singing competitions or showdown in our country are more fun lol

Thanks again for supporting our local artists. Gigi is my favorite among our many local talents mainly because of what she cover's, her voice, tight band. Her heart to heart by Kenny Logins is killer, I used to listen to the original vinyl record. Speaking of transposing as you mentioned, many local bands do it by ear or "oido" in my dialect I used to ask the guitarist/ bassist to "sipra" the song or learn it by ear and eventually transpose by ear. ❤️🇵🇭🙏 Check out the good but not famous local bands too while here.

Hey guys when all this first started they all live together on the bottom floor of GG and her mom's house. They slept on pallets and live together and sing together every day until they got that synergy... And while they're like brothers and sister. They really are a family!!! I love their outtakes

We Filipinos mostly, don't have any musical background, training nor go to any music school coz honestly speaking we don't have money to pay and spend for music or voice lessons..it just that we love musics so much that it became a part of our daily lives,..we sing when we are happy, when we are sad, when we are in love, when we are heartbroken, we sung in every seasons of our lives.. literally Music is our life 🎶🎤🎙️🎧🎵every weekends as we enjoy our family bonding, singing in a karaoke in our house was our bonding time,.in every occasion karaoke and singing was the best part of it,.celebration was not complete without singing till midnight 😅😅😅 aside from food and drinking and we just dont sing just a simple song but those song with highest notes..the higher the notes, the challenging, the more complicated the song, the more we are challenge to sing it,. Like that, even those people that dont have that good voice, we dont care, as long we are enjoying,..karaoke was our training grounds and tools,..and we also joining singing contest that also help us enhance our vocal agility,.we dont have any knowledge about runs and riffs, and others staff, we didn't studied about that,..we just feel the song, the rhythm and melody and feel the song and it came out easily,..and maybe because we love mimicking and impersonates our favorite singers thats why we knew it until it came out naturally,..actually we just learn more about voices and music technically when we started watching reaction videos from voice coaches, voice teachers, those who have knowledge and have background about music like you both Lucas and Josh and other reactors,..you really educates us more and we really appreciated it as you appreciated our musics, singers and talents 🥰💖😍

I was pregnant during the TNT season 1 finals and I got to watch the show everyday. The only 2 contestants I was rooting for that time was Eumee and Gidget. Gigi for me was the total package. We know what her voice can do but maybe luck was not on her side that time. She literally lost her voice during the competition and that's why she got elimimated. But yep, 6 years later and she's still here. Just sad that recording companies in the Philippines just seems to ignore these kinds of talents.
