Most welcome.. a new free pattern is coming out soon .. the lace short sleeve sweater you can see me wearing in my last video. Happy knitting to you. :-)
Thank you for this opportunity and I appreciate your hard work in putting this lovely pattern together for free. I am very eager and excited to start. ❤ Another thank you for the tutorial!! ❤❤❤
You are most welcome.. the larger sizes still need test knitting so let me know please if there was any error in the pattern to correct it. Happy knitting to you. Alice
Oh my.. I am touched by the offer but I am not selling patterns. It is my passion to creat and give patterns away. I will try to put it on the community tomorrow but the format is not good there… so I am just about to creat an account for my channel on Ravelry so people can download for free. I hope it helps.
I am glad to hear it.. if you sent me a picture of your cardigan to this email address knit.peace.today@gmail.com then I can show it next week in my new video. If you wanted. :)
Hello Sally, the written pattern will be on the Community by Monday when I am back home… the Community site is located next to Playlist on my channel page… I hope it helps and for those who want the pdf format I will send it through the email I gave in the video.
@@hunglishknitter I used to have a really cute one that I got at Hartsfield's Specialty Shop in Kansas City. It was really cute. It had light pink, wool yarn with pink ribbon. It was a light pink 1-inch thick ribbon, from top down, where the button holes were and where the buttons were. And around the collar. It was just really cute. I loved it!
Hello Carole. The entire film is the pattern if you start knitting with me… but if you prefer, I can make the written version placed on the community part of my channel. The only problem is that I am on vacation and be back to home to my computer only next week. I will let you know when it is on the Community.
This would look great with some of the fabulous slow color changing yarns out now, like Lion Brand's Ferris Wheel yarn! Thanks so much! Sorry, I mean any of the Aran weight yarns...
21:00 I dont understand the "x amount of time on every other row on the right side" is this in addition to the increases? Like is it after the increases? And if so does it mean a row of increases, purl, knit across, purl, increase?
So, in size Small for example, I increased 16 times on every right side (right side knit increase/ wrong side purl/ right side knit increase again = every right side row). Then, after finishing that 16 times of increasing, I increased 3 more times but only in every other right side row (right side knit increase/ wrong side purl/ right side knit/ wrong side purl/ right side knit increase again) and so on = every other row. I hope it helped :)
@ okay cool! I thought that's what it was but I wanted to make sure! Love the pattern so far and I'm excited to finish the piece! Thank you so much for the help! I really appreciate it!
For babies I would not use any but for children yes.. if you check store bought children clothing elevation is always there. I always used for my children three or four time elevation. I hope it helps.
Ho quasi ultimato il cardigan, in realtà mi manca ancora una manica. Grazie a te sono riuscita senza problemi. Non conoscevo il metodo che spieghi per fare i ferri accorciati. È fantastico! Grazie davvero di ❤!
I am so happy to hear this method worked for you too… it is so simple and yet people don’t know about it. Thank you for letting me know. Enjoy your day and cardigan.
I'm a newbie to raglan, but as you are saying "pick up front to back" your needle (on screen) is actually doing the motion (insertion) from back to front. Same is true on the opposite side of the marker. Are we viewing the cardi backwards which is accounting for this?
Hi, lovely tutorial. I am a beginner at knitting but want to challenge myself with making this beautiful cardigan. I was just wondering one thing, sorry if you mentioned it and I missed it, but what size does the circular part of the needles have to be? So how long does the string between the 2 needles have to be? I have different sizes up to 100cm, do you think that is enough? :)
I used an 80 cm long one but it depends on the size, so for XL I would use the 100cm. I did not block mine only hanged because it is from a soft, good quality polyester (the first time ever used that and still wear so I did not regret to try it out). If you use wool yarn I would suggest to block, for acrylic or cotton yarn just lay on a towel. Does it help?
No pronlem.. here is the website link for the yarn, colour Bay. canada.michaels.com/product/baby-rainbow-yarn-by-loops-threads-10711567?cm_mmc=PLASearch-_-google-_-MICH_Shopping_CA_N_Knitting+%26+Crochet_N_PMAX_BOPIS_N-_-Generic&kpid=go_cmp-18653508142_adg-_ad-__dev-c_ext-_prd-10711567&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAABjE121TLqS8rO6KB_P29-E8GV9up&gclid=Cj0KCQiAvvO7BhC-ARIsAGFyToXYRKztnnbWuJqsrfJUhehrh92v7kr2tOk7oUkIhRg-yVagUje2EuYaArf3EALw_wcB And knitted size Small
The video itself as a tutorial has the pattern, but I can place the written version on the Community of my channel next week… as soon as I am back to my computer from vacation.
I used Loops & Thread … moved out of my comfort zone because I never used a polyester yarn before but I am genuinley surprised by that specific yarn. Inknitted it also from Wool Ease and love both of them. Btw, in my previous video (My version of Beach Love Drops Design) I talked and showed the yarn.
I am sorry to hear you find it confusing. I show there what you need to follow through the written instructions both on the screen and the printed, downloadable version from Ravelry.
I am sorry to hear that… I checked it and only one error I noticed at 14:37 min, instead of Knit you Purl before you turn, but I corrected it in the subtitle…So it is important to watch. Thank you for your warning.
I wish you would reverse the instructions for a bottom up version. I tried top down knitting. Never again. I have to knit sleeves first, before I make the body.
Until eight years ago I couldn’t imagine to knit from top down… but now I prefer this way to knit.. so I really understand you. I will post here the one you prefer soon.
Downloadable pattern is on Ravelry, www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hunglish-cardigan
Thankyou for sharing this tutorial and pattern.

So many different ways to end up with the same result! Great video!
Thank you Wendy and I agree about the many ways to knit… I like simple ways :) but not always possible.
Love this sweater and how you present it!
Thank you so much… I just corrected the video and deleted the wrong one.

I think so too!
Beautiful ❤Thank you😘

:) It wouldn’t be the same without your comment. Have a nice day and tell me if you will knit this cardigan.
Does row 9&10 count for the third time working rows 3&4 ? or work row 3&4 three times then proceed 9&10?
Yes they count.. have you downloaded the written pattern from Ravelry.. with images… it will help and it is free… see the link above.
Well it looks beautiful but for me not so simple...
Just start knitting.. you will become better with time.
❤
It's kind of confusing because you skip the middle part and directly proceed to the last part of row 1. I can't follow.
I am sorry to hear you find it confusing. I show there what you need to follow through the written instructions both on the screen and the printed, downloadable version from Ravelry.
