- Peter and Kitra have only four hours to experience Universal Studios Hollywood, so what did they decide to do?
At Universal Hollywood, they experienced:
For the first time ever they experienced DreamWorks Theatre Featuring Kung Fu Panda.
Peter got distracted by Back to the Future merchandise at Production Central.
We rode the Studio Tour, the best ride in all of Universal Hollywood.
We ate at the new Mexican restaurant, Cocina Mexicana.
And finally we booked it to the lower lot and rode Jurassic World: The Ride at night for the first time. What was different? Check it out!
Last month we had only four hours to explore Universal Orlando, and this video is partially inspired by that trip, You can watch that video here: • Universal Orlando In O...
Do you agree that the Universal Hollywood Tram Tour is the best ride in the park? If you had only four hours in Universal Studios Hollywood, what would you have prioritized? Let us know in the comments below!

The Studio tram tour is my favorite ride in Universal Hollywood, What’s yours?
I would say the old Jurassic Park ride
Jurassic Park the ride, the Jurassic world ride was a disappointment
The mummy
Peter Sciretta the studio tour is a must-do for anyone visiting universal studios Hollywood. When I had an annual pass a few years ago, there was only one time I went that I didn’t go on the tram tour. It’s basically like 10 rides in one!
My favorite ride are the stairs next to the escalators. Really gets my blood pumping lol. Great video guys!
I don't normally watch travel vlogs, but for some reason, I really like yours, Peter! You guys actually record it live and not do voiceovers which some travel vlogs do, I find those lackluster because you don't hear the ambient sounds of the actual locations! So thanks for keeping it real!
Thanks so much. We are just trying to be real so it makes me happy to hear that’s what you’re enjoying! - Peter
Goodness, you two really have grown on me. Fun, and enthusiastic without being obnoxious jerks. You're respectful to the staff. You guys aren't full of shit either. You know your parks, and it feels like an aunt and uncle taking an out of towner like me for a trip. Frightening, as you guys are my age ROFL. Great channel, well done. Universal has a grungy, industrial, feeling. Disney feels expensive and oppressive.
I found your channel a few weeks ago looking for Galaxy's Edge footage. I have since subbed and watched all of your vids. You both really love what you are doing, and I love seeing these parks I will never have a chance to visit. You are doing a great job.
Thanks so much Mark! I'm glad you are enjoying the videos!
Mark Waller same here :)
Same here! The very same way! Now I am a subscriber, too!
Same here and what a treat they all are!
This is a great video! You both are so charming and cute! And you talk to the camera like you would a guest. You're very warm and welcoming.
Thanks so much
I loved your tram tour guide! Seemed better than average with his honest approach (less cheesy that way), and awesome you got to see Hill Valley. Haven't seen that in years (i thought maybe it burned down!). I'm a /film daily and/filmcast listener, and also work tangentially in the entertainment industry in LA (musician) and you guys are doing a great job with the vlog! Loving the videos.
Thanks so much Jonah! Yeah the tour guide was great. I feel like I cut out many of his funny jokes but I remember he started off the tour joking about how we picked the best day to take the tram tour... a Sunday on a holiday weekend, when lots of production should bee going on. lol
Went to (first time) Universal studio Tour back in 1977 and it was a blast! Even saw the set of the Original Battlestar Galactica .... You guys have the best job ever! (Looking at/filming stuff at theme parks). 😁👍🏼
Thanks! Oh that would be so cool to see the original set of battlestar. And this isn’t our job (yet at least) it’s just for fun.
Another great video! You guys always seems to have so much fun.
Thanks so much
Another great video! I appreciate all of your info on things like what you didn't see last time on the Studio Tour. I'm trying to catch up on ALL of your adventures and I am sure to Like every one as I watch them. Thanks for making these! 😊👍🏼
you two make a great team, very entertaining vlogs xx
Thanks so much Jen!
Excellent video! You two are very fun to watch! I like the food stuff too!
Thanks!
Best line: "BUT it just got real, did it NOT?"
depends on your definition of real Brian 😛
I remember back in the day when Battle Star Galactica was apart of the Tram Tour and I was so excited to see it. Long story short... So fricking disappointing! Nothing was animated and even worse my favorite characters of the show the Cylons weren't even up to scale! They looked like midgets just standing there! The only thing that I saw move was the red light that oscillates in their face helmet. OMG I was heartbroken and then later pissed! My point being is that was supposed to "It Just Got Real" for me that fateful day. Instead, It Just Got Really Whacked! Anyway, Subscribed. You guys are like big kids just like me. Keep up the good work. Y'all Rock! :)
Always enjoy your reviews. Can't seem to enjoy other people's volgs. You guys have the chemistry.
Thanks 😊
i enjoy watching this again, as we had visited here a few days after taking in a real earth quake in staples center on july 5 2019 at the Shawn mendes concert ,i do enjoy all your videos
Thanks
Amazing whenever in movies they tell you stay calm don't panic that's usually when people start panicking.
Ha
Was also confused by the daytime Mosasaurus video at night. I'm betting they will fix that. Great videos! Keep it up Kitra & Peter! :)
Thanks for watching :)
Really enjoyed the video keep up the good work ! Just a suggestion maybe do a video of all your collectables at your house you got some really cool stuff would like to see more .
Thanks! We will do that at some point in the future.
I love Harry Potter! Universal FL is my favorite for that reason. Kitra I always get the Fish and Chips at the Leaky Cauldron. My favorite ride is Hagrid's Motorbike. That is THE BEST RIDE EVER! BTW I'm loving your Galaxy Edge videos. Harry Potter, Star Wars and Marvel are awesome! If your in Walt Disney World July 2021 maybe I'll see you.
oh man i was there yesterday! i was keeping an eye out for you guys haha, love your videos!!
Thanks Alyssa. We shot this last Sunday so you only missed us by a week. But if you see us in the parks please say hi!
great job as always , love watching !!!
Thanks
That Tram tour really looked really cool!
Thank you guys for the great video.
Thanks for watching
WOW ..Another AWESOME video :-)
🙏
I remember doing the tram ride in the 90s in Orlando with my parents... and I was very upset when i learned they removed it and jaws when I went last year on my honeymoon
Fun video as always. From what I remember the subway usually crashes during the quake right? Weird how it was already in there and then the quake started...GLITCH!
Yeah that’s usually what happens. It was funny that the tour guide was like “oh looks like the train arrived early” 😂
Enjoyed the video...Good VLOG
Thank you "Thanos" haha
"...why is it light outside??"
The universal difference right there lmao
They originally said it would look different at night, I think they haven’t gotten that working yet
As always you guys are awesome. Thank you for all the vids. It lets this small town boy live abit vicariously with you as its very doubtful i could ever go to these places so its nice to at least a fans eye view. Stay safe an keep the vids going🎢🎡🎠
Thanks!!!
Hi Peter Hi Kitra ! Happy belated Pixel !
Pixel says “bark bark” which roughly translates into “thank you” 🐶
You are my favorite USH vloggers! (RixFlix for USF.) Question: is your park as busy as Florida in last week of March (spring break).
To be honest I’m not sure. I’m guessing it’s busy but not as busy.
i miss the train catastrophe scene from Universal Florida i think it was called Earthquake, the backlot tour is so cool
We miss it too
If you guys get the chance, try some food at jurassic cafe! I got the mojo pork a week ago and it was pretty good.
We tried some of the food, check out our Jurassic World food video. I agree the mojo pork was my favorite! - Peter
Great video! 🙂
Thanks so much!
I still need to go on the new Jurassic world ride! Once they open again I’m gonna get the pass that has no blockout dates. 😁
They did a refurbishment too while it was closed and rumor has it it will be improved
Platinum pass is the way to go!!
Always fun
Thanks
I plan on going to Disneyworld for my birthday in may will be my first time going any advice I'm so excited
mint!
There is supposed to a nighttime animation , also the 2nd to last big trex looking thing isn’t the real one either. (The one blue points at) it’s supposed to be a full body and much closer
Yeah I’ve heard they couldn’t get the indominus rex body working properly that’s why it’s hidden behind some bushes
have you done the vip tour .... they take out to the backlock through some sets and have the best lunch buffet ever
I really want to do that someday. Back to the Future is my favorite movie and I'd love to walk clocktower square. - Peter
@@OrdinaryAdventures make sure you tell them cause they were shooting when we went so didn't take us but they mentioned if we had asked they would have snuck up round to take a look!
I plan on going this summer
Have fun
When I was on there I was on the set of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood
That’s cool
@@OrdinaryAdventures thank you
Is the Walking Dead attraction any good??? The tram ride looks fun!
It's okay, it's basically a walk through haunted maze attraction like the stuff you see during Halloween Horror Nights but bigger budget production value.
I think you did suit the hat my friend. It made you look 10 years younger
Thank you Kitra and Peter.
Thank you for watching victor
I'm with Peter on the Fast and the Furious stuff. You go through an hour of "We're the best studio ever! Our movies make you laugh, cry, and sit at the edge of your seat! Behold our mighty collection of cinematic classics! WE INVENTED MODERN CINEMAAA!!!" Then they go "Now check out this overly manufactured cash grab and weep for the current state of movies." It's bittersweet, but very honest of them.
Ha that’s a funny and sad way at looking at it
What do you guys do to be at parks all the time if you don’t mind me asking?
We live locally and have annual passes.
UA-cam recommended you guys to me! Thanks UA-cam!
Glad they did!
@@OrdinaryAdventures so am I! Love your content that I've watched so far. I live for the music over the shots of the parks! And you two are a lot of fun
❤️
Thanks SF
I wanna see you guys go through the harry potter castle and ride forbidden journey
We will do this one day although I don’t think they allow you to film the ride
@@OrdinaryAdventures awesome! I mainly want to see your guys reaction to everything in the castle bc that is without a doubt the best line to wait in. Love your channel!
I would love to see more Harry Potter
When were you guys there?
I was just here yesterday and today. I would love to meet you guys.
When will you be back at galaxy's edge we'll be there on Wednesday
We were there last Sunday, a week from yesterday. Not sure when we will be back at Disneyland but probably not until the weekends.
@@OrdinaryAdventures oh ok. I just recently came across your channel and love your content. Instantly subscribed. Keep up the awesome work
Thanks so much for watching! Hope to run into you one day!
Is the backlot ride for annual pass holders only?
Nope it’s for everyone
@@OrdinaryAdventures ok thank you so much!
You know what the scariest ride in the park is???
The stairs next to those escalators!!!!! ;-)
Very true
Your tram guide seemed pretty pedestrian tbh. Maybe he's new. I say that because it's one of my favorite rides
He was actually very funny, one of the better ones I’ve ever had. I may have cut out a lot of the fun stuff tho.
@@OrdinaryAdventures That's good to hear. The ride definitely relies on having a good guide - and so I was a little surprised watching cuz I don't think I've ever had a bad one.
I haven't been on it in a long time, so seeing some of the newer screen stuff I can't help but kinda think of Vito Corleone's "look how they massacred my boy." I miss Kong Encounter, the collapsing bridge and the Mummy tunnel. Regardless, I'm making plans to go to Universal Orlando soon, and can't help but be sad they don't have a studio tour.
BTW: love ur videos
Always a shame that we have nothing like the Studio tram tour here in Orlando. I use to like the tour at Hollywood studios. I need to make my way out to Universal Hollywood to go on it.
I’m surprised they haven’t tried to build a studio tour ride in Orlando. I feel like there is probably a way to do that right. I liked the one in Hollywood Studios
@@OrdinaryAdventures Yea it would be a cool thing and like you said nothing really is that long in Orlando. The longest thing use to be Ellen's Energy Adventure, but that has been closed down for some time. Have you ever done the VIP tour?
I haven’t. Maybe someday! It’s not cheap.
They had a tram tour in Orlando in the very early 90s but they quickly removed it. I remember the backlot tour at Disney MGM Studios in 1998 - I think that area is now Galaxy’s Edge.
Jurassic World looks much better at night. Is it still in rehearsals?
It was when we shot this.
Tram is the best
💯
I dunno if the that typical UA-cam vlog music is working for you. I think a mandolin or a banjo would is more original and fitting. Old American folk or maybe even cute modern folk. Xoxoxo
U guys should go to six flags
Gotta convince Kitra, she doesn’t love crazy rollercoasters. - Peter
Saw Ron Howard’s on our bus tour, years ago
Nice 👍
Do they still do the Backdraft show?
Nope 😢
Did you guys get a wand from there
Yes at the wizard of world
@@OrdinaryAdventures I have hermione Granger's wand from there
The wait time at Jurassic world is super short. They only say it's over 2 hours long because it's been breaking down alot. You know, still working out the bugs.
Definitely would like to see you guys react to my favorite ride the mummy
We'll try to get to that, although I don't think you can film the ride and if you could it would be mostly darkness.
How do you guys afford to go so often ? If you dont mind me asking
Should of watched the video first lol I see you have the annual passes....nevermind
Haha yeah we live locally and have annual passes, which to universal are pretty affordable.
My wife and I have been watching your videos latley & we are jealous...Think we are gonna fly down to Orlando once they get the galaxy's edge opened up and build lightsabers like u guys...great vids by the way
i enjoys taco bell taco salad too☺
It’s so good 😂🙌 - Kitra
YES DOGGIE BEACH!
LOVE IT, I WANT TO GO SO BAD BUT COVID CAME AND RUINED EVERYTHING :(((
😭
Is there a hulk ride in universal hollywood
No. There are not many rollercoasters because universal Hollywood is in the middle and close to residential. So the only coasters are indoors like the mummy
Oh ok thanks for replying
When it was my first time on the studio tour on earthquake i did think something was wrong at the beginning, but when they showed the clip I realized it was fake.
Ha
I’m hoping they change out our Shrek attraction in Orlando.
Yeah the DreamWorks Theatre is so much better, and more future proof and updatable.
More videos of your dogs on the beach please.
🐕 🏝
What rides are better at night would be a good video 28:43
Great idea
This video and the one about the Jurassic Ride are the first times I have seen anything about Universal Studios, and I am a little disappointed by the amount of filmed segments they use in the rides. Maybe I am too used to Disney's animatronics, but the films come off as films and not real figures.
Yes, Universal uses a lot of screens in their rides! I prefer animatronics as well :) the Harry Potter ride has a nice blend of animatronics and screens- Kitra
For some reason anytime see F+F get upset at UO for getting rid of two rides for that attraction.
😮
still bummed they got rid of the back to the future ride. They should have just updated it.
Me too - Peter
pete’s surprised Universals Annual pass is waaaaayy cheapers than Disney’s for california residents lolol 🤣
I'm not surprised that its cheaper, I'm surprised at how much cheaper it is.
I don’t think words could had expressed your emotions regarding it hehehe
#bringbackpracticaleffects
The Tram tour used to be a lot more in depth. And 2 hours long.
Agreed. Miss that
the lettuce taste like coleslaw? thats not good.
y’all should totally take a subscriber with you to a park. That subscriber should be me. Please? Pretty please 🙏
Ha not sure we can take you but if you see us there say hi.
😂😂😂 y’all are great!!!!! I’d totally pay my own way! I grew up at Disney in Orlando. My mom worked there. I got my start in the kitchen and universal Orlando at Louie’s. I think your channel is great. You two look like you are having so much fun! My wife and kids would totally understand if I took off for a weekend. I’ve never been to California! Light sabers and droids on me! Love y’all! Keep up the awesome work!
It helps to say up safty. But do not warry rid runny. I will be okay.
More like 35 minutes
