Author of mystery novels, blacksmith, knife maker, amp maker, guitarist... did I miss anything Walt? Man do I feel like a lazy schlep. Very nice little practice amp. I'm gotta check out some of those mojo tone kits.
Weirdest thing just happen. Ive watched Walter for knife making tips for a few years now. As a guitar player looking to build my own cabinet, looking at such videos, i click one not looking at the youtuber and bam!!! I know this guy 😂😂 you're full of surprises walter
Really nice build, both the circuit and the cabinet. I love that you used Bloodwood. I've got a few boards of it in my shop and it's heavy and hard like some of the Cocobolo and Ebony I've used. Wow! It'll last forever.
wow man i dont like using a fence and a pusher to cut the would i understand what your doing but have you ever had a pice of wood lift up an that blade chuck the wood back at you ... have not seen the end here yet but i do like your high high quality squair pusher cool
Did you find that getting water based poly to get into the pores of the wood was a problem after sanding so high? Typically I only go to 120 or 150 as I find that after that, once there are 3 or 4 coats on, you can't really tell anyway and it seems to get into the wood a little easier (as much as a water based finish does, anyway, which of course isn't all that much). I do sand lightly at 400 between coats though. Looks great btw and I really liked your solution on the crosscut sled, super good idea. Cheers!
Nice build. I think you may want to ditch the jig saw for a router for the speaker baffle. 🔊 Also, the router does an equally good job for the round overs. However, it's a personal touch when done by hand. Nice build. Cheers 😀

Lot of great info, and experience, and good sense of humour. Learned a bit from this. However there is no need to use leather products in 2022. Kind of ruins the fun of an amp or music or art, using the skin of an abused and murdered living being...
The fact that you can play guitar that well makes this channel that much more awesome thanks this was great!
Damn fine work, and playing!
Bloodwood looks great. Like the color of it. That sounded great too!
Nice job Walter. The blood wood really sets it off.
