Curved Guitar Amp Speaker Cabinet - Bent Lamination - DIY 2x12 Build Woodworking

Years ago I was looking inside my Marshall speaker cabinet with an angled baffle, I noticed that the baffle was 2 pieces screwed together. I always had the idea of an angled speaker baffle that was made by laminating sheets of plywood together to be one curved piece. By layering 3mm baltic birch plywood I was able to get that effect.
A couple months I was listening to the Modern Maker Podcast and they were talking about a new woodworking challenge of using bent lamination in a project. Now is as good a time as any to make this idea a reality.

Darth Vader Thanks, Darth 🖤
Whoa that is dynamite. Great work. Don’t have the space to do that at home. The dilemma of ascetics vs functionality. And working with what I have. The lattice is a great touch as well as the edge work.
Wow that is so fricken cool.. I dig it

Looks awesome, would go well with the custom amp you built a while back.
Richard Wallace Thanks, I think they’ll go together great!
If I'm not mistaken you don't have to use a spray adhesive on the 3m sandpaper, it already has some that's heat activated.
Sick skills!
I'm jealous for this workshop *_*
askela superior thank you! I love my garage shop!

Do you sell these ? I'm in FL....I have two old Vox Oxfords that I got from an old Viscount 2/12 combo I hooked some stout Marshall spkr cable directly to them so as long as it's open back it's good to go I will check your website Thanks
That would look so cool on stage, especially with the head you built in the other video! But I guess you don't let it out of the house...?
Thanks! I brought it out for a show once so far! I’ve since made a cabinet for a different amp head with a similar lattice pattern.
muy bueno
Thank you!!
